This course has been a game-changer for me. I've been curious about coding and after doing lessons on Khan Academy, I decided to take the plunge into a boot camp program. I looked at quite a few different options, but this one stood out to me for a few reasons.

First, the schedule is flexible enough to manage with an unusual work hours. You work at your own pace with new content each week, and the QA board and office hours allow you to ask questions and get feedback. Second, the cost was surprisingly affordable compared to my local universities, and payment plans are also offered. Lastly, MIT is a big name in STEM schools, and it shows in the curriculum. If you want a school that's got some weight behind it and aren't afraid of a challenge, this program is a good choice for you.

I've learned a tremendous amount about JavaScript, HTML, CSS and we are now covering React. I came into this program very green and it hasn't been easy, but the knowledge and skills I've gained are priceless.

For those who are interested, I would highly suggest reviewing the core concepts prior to enrollment because it can be overwhelming and some concepts are very abstract if you don't have a background in it. But overall, I believe this course can provide the necessary skills to thrive in a development environment.

I came into MIT's Applied AI and Data Science Program already leading engineering for an Agentic AI product, so I wasn't looking for an introduction to the field — I was looking for rigor . The program delivered that. The elective project forced me to get precise about tradeoffs I'd normally wave through in a roadmap conversation, and the capstone — a real-time retail feedback intelligence system using generative AI and an LLM-as-Judge evaluation framework — was one of the most fun and interesting things I've built in the past weeks.

What stood out most was translating that work for a business audience rather than a technical one. Building the final presentation forced a discipline I now bring back to my own team: never state a metric without answering "so what." 

If you're a working leader wondering whether you have the bandwidth for something like this: it's demanding, but it’s worth the investment. I would do it again

MIT & Great Learning's Applied AI and Data Science Program was a fantastic learning experience for me. Spanning from March to July 2026, the program has a personalized timeline that fits my full-time student schedule. The course website setup is also very clear and effective. The lectures are informative, the projects are hands-on and fun, and the instructors are responsive. When I first saw the No-code Ai program I was intrigued, but also a little anxious about returning to being a student and whether I would be successful. Those initial concerns were quickly eased through the program’s clear module-based structure and the pace of learning, which felt both manageable and engaging.

As the weeks progressed, I found myself building confidence in the material and becoming increasingly motivated to explore AI beyond the prescribed course content. The program administration was excellent, and the weekly mentored learning sessions were especially valuable as they reinforced key concepts while also encouraging deeper exploration and discussion.

The combination of course content, no-code AI tools, hands-on exercises, assessments, and real-world case studies created a highly practical learning experience and helped solidify the concepts each week. MIT Professional Education Great Learning Applied AI & Data Science program was challenging, but highly rewarding experience.  I began with some basic statistics experience and very little coding experience.  I now have all the skills that the most experienced data scientists in my department have- and some that they don't.  I am also confident in my Python coding skills, as I have had plenty of practice with the Elective project and the Capstone project.  I learned data cleaning, data prep, dimensionality reduction, clustering, Principal Component Analysis, and so much more.  The lecturers were highly intelligent, experienced, and were able to bring the information down to a level I could readily understand and apply.  I have never had an educational experience in which I felt this supported.  I personally experienced some extraordinary circumstances in my personal life and was tempted to give up on the program, as it is very challenging and I was dealing with a lot at home.  My program coordinator, Sneha worked with me, encouraged me, and pushed me to finish the program and I am so glad I did.  I am very proud of having successfully completed this program and I will be able to use these skills in my current position daily going forward.  I have access to the program material for the next three years and I do see myself referring back to the lessons and learning material as it was very dense. The path of learning was smooth and sequential. Given assignments and projects were excellent. Completion of projects has given me added knowledge in Data Science and AI sector. The course goes deep in DS but only covers surface area on AI maybe because AI is still evolving but overall great surface knowledge in generative AI. I recommend to add more assignments and course materials regarding agentic AI as well. Mentors were reachable and were excellent throughout the session. Excellent communication by Mentor who were always ready to answer questions and clear doubts. They provided excellent feedback on my projects which helped me learn more on new way to resolve problems. Read less

I joined this project after being recommended by a previous graduate, so I came in with some expectations, and overall, it was a really solid experience.From my perspective, the structure of the project made a big difference. It walks you through everything step by step, from exploring the data to building models and then turning that into actual business insights. I never felt lost, but at the same time, it still challenged me to think deeper.What stood out to me the most is that it’s not just technical. I had to really think about how to explain my findings and how they would matter in a real business setting, which felt very practical.It definitely takes effort if you want to do it well, but in my experience, that’s also where the most value comes from. By the end, I felt much more confident not just analyzing data, but communicating it clearly.Overall, based on my experience, I’d say it’s a very worthwhile project if you’re looking for something practical and applicable. I recently completed the MIT Professional Education: No Code AI and Machine Learning program on Great Learning. Overall, it was a well-structured and insightful 12-week course that provides a strong introduction to AI and ML concepts without requiring any coding experience.The use of tools like KNIME and RapidMiner made the learning very practical and easy to apply. The lectures from MIT faculty were highly informative, and the mentorship sessions added good real-world perspective. The hands-on projects were especially helpful in reinforcing the concepts learned.The program is quite intensive for the duration, and some advanced topics could use a bit more depth, but it still offers great value for professionals looking to understand AI and lead data-driven work.Overall, I had a positive learning experience.
