I believe that “No-Code AI” will have a major impact on the companies of the future. The effort required for data-driven decision-making and process automation will be significantly reduced. This was the reason why the concept of the course immediately convinced me.The lectures from IDSS at MIT are challenging but very well structured from a didactic perspective. If you have difficulties understanding something, the mentors from Great Learning help during the learning sessions. The fundamentals of AI algorithms are taught very well. The initial focus is on deterministic methods and their application to decision-making processes. In additional case studies, you learn the overall process from project goal definition, data preprocessing, data exploration, feature engineering, setting up ML models, parameter optimization, and interpretation of the results. With the help of RapidMiner and KNIME, you then solve projects independently, supported by the hands-on sessions from Great Learning.As the course progresses, you learn how general and convolutional neural networks work and how they are applied to decision and classification problems. You recognize the power of these algorithms and the black-box problem. It would have been desirable to learn more about approaches for explaining AI decisions. This will play a major role in increasing acceptance for the introduction of AI in organizations. However, corresponding suggestions were well received.There are good videos on implementing workflows in RapidMiner. I would have also liked to see similar instructional videos for KNIME. However, this gap was at least partially filled by the hands-on sessions.At the end of the course, the focus was on generative AI. We first learned the basics of transformer and diffusion models and then how to use related tools through prompt engineering. As the first cohort, we were also given access to n8n as a tool to get started with process automation and agentic AI. The initial technical problems were resolved with great effort by Great Learning.In this course, excellent lecture content from MIT is combined with highly practical guidance from very qualified mentors from Great Learning. In just under four months, by taking this course, I was able to acquire knowledge that I will be able to apply extensively in my future professional work. The applications will be in the areas of sales and marketing, but also more generally in the introduction of AI in companies. I can highly recommend this course.Source text:
