The program is well-structured for those who want to start learning Python and data science. The course starts from the beginning and takes us to advanced learning levels. I thoroughly enjoyed my overall learning journey, it kicked off my Python understanding and cleared the basic concept of data science.

This program has taught me a lot about the inner workings of the many data engineering platforms and how to position myself in the marketplace of data engineers. They cover so many different avenues you get to decide how you want to practice and develop your own unique style as a data engineer. 

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible learning experience I had with Great Learning. From the very beginning of the program to its completion, the journey has been enriching and transformative for me.The curriculum was well-structured, offering a perfect balance between theory and practical application. Each module helped me not only understand the concepts but also gave me the confidence to apply them in real-world scenarios. The MIT IDSS program provided us with a strong foundation in data science and machine learning, enabling us to extract valuable insights from data. While the program effectively covered core concepts and algorithms, we believe it could benefit from a more in-depth focus on statistics and mathematics for students without a strong background in these areas. This would ensure that all participants are equipped with the necessary quantitative skills to excel in data science applications across various fields, such as healthcare, finance, and marketing.

Great learning is very flexible as most students are working full time which allows you the time to complete the program. They also allow you access to materials for 2-3 years. I certainly learned a lot and what’s exciting is that after the program you can still work with your chosen career counselor if your someone who is transitioning into this space like myself. I appreciate their support.

I decided to go into this program in order to help supplement my degree and get a job in data science. Now, I will soon be finishing the program and I am looking towards applying for jobs in the field equipped with an impressive credential and all of the knowledge that I need. Lecturers were helpful, insightful, interesting, and above all accommodating to me working a full-time job, as well as having other responsibilities to manage. I could not recommend more if you are looking to take the first steps into a career change or are looking to advance your career to that next step. 10/10.

The MIT Applied Data Science program, led by MIT faculty and industry pros, covers a wide spectrum of topics like machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. I just finished this year's program and boy, was I blown away! The teaching was top-notch – experts who know their stuff explaining complex ideas in simple ways. What rocked were the hands-on projects. We got to take what we learned and solve real-world problems. Plus, the program team had my back the whole time, especially the program manager, who was my go-to superhero for questions. Overall, this program gave me the confidence and skills to tackle a data science career. Think about it: world-class teaching, a full range of subjects, hands-on projects, and super supportive staff. It was a fantastic training experience at MIT, yielding impressive results. Prior to this, I attempted to study deep learning on my own but made little progress. MIT's intensive "Applied Data Science Program" provided the guidance I needed. Although it was challenging at first, given the vast amount of new information, I gradually acclimated to the workload. The achievements I've made are remarkable. Now, I have a good orientation in the field and can swiftly design and train neural network systems for my projects. This program served as an excellent introduction to the world of data science. I'm profoundly grateful to the mentors, program managers, and all affiliated staff members for their invaluable support throughout my academic journey.

MIT IDSS and Great learning’s data science and machine learning course is an excellent 12 week course that gets you on your toes within the first two weeks into the course. The online tutorials are both  thorough and quite engaging. If you have a  daytime job be sure to work extra hard to keep up with the ever looming deadlines for submitting weekly exam quizzes and projects after completing each module. There is also some mandatory weekend mentorship sessions. Although they are recorded for if you fail to attend . I personally ensured that I attended 100% of the time. This is really important as it gets you the opportunity to engage with industry experts . You also get the opportunity to ask questions and get clarifications on  issues you may have missed or didn’t quite understand. Additionally the mentorship approach is structured in such a way that it fills like you’re breaking new ground into some subtle familiarities.Their Program coordinators are very professional and accommodating. You can approach them for any questions clarifications or doubts. They always find ways to address your concerns .  The prerecorded lectures conducted by MIT professors somewhat make you feel like you’re on campus. I am proud with myself for taking this course. I would greatly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn from the best in the field of Data science and machine learning.
