 When I enrolled in my cyber security bootcamp, I was starting from ground zero. The most I knew about computers was simply turning it off and then on, and the closest I got to cyber security was the movie 'Hackers'. But nonetheless, I was beyond excited. I knew it was the first step to changing my life for the better. And I trusted the source since it came from my university. Fast forwarding three months later, I'm able to look at certain systems and analyze them in my head! I recently completed a course with HyperionDev, and it was a solid experience overall. At the start, the structure felt a bit overwhelming and confusing, but once I got used to how everything works, it became much easier to navigate.I really liked the hands-on approach — you’re not just learning theory, you’re actually doing the work, which helped me understand things properly. The one-on-one mentor calls were also really helpful, especially when I was stuck. As someone with absolutely no prior coding experience, I was nervous about starting a coding course. But my experience with HyperionDev has been nothing but patient, friendly, and incredibly supportive from day one.

Whenever I hit a problem (which happened often as a beginner!), I could simply book a call with my tutor. They were always on time sometimes even early for our live sessions. That reliability made a huge difference when I was feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

The weekly scheduled classes were shared well ahead of time, which made it easy to plan my week around them. Every person assisting me from tutors to support staff genuinely wanted to help me get the best results and fully understand each concept before moving on.

This bootcamp has done a lot for me in terms of understanding the basics of python and programming logic by solving different problems involving different topics of python and how they can be integrated and used to create functional programs that run to take input and produce output and can be used through the world around us. understanding the concepts of python is fundamental to being able to look at problems, diagnose them, come up with concepts and solve these problems that are required to be solved. through frameworks like Django and Database Languages like SQL, you are able to build applications that are useful and add value to society. other concepts like HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascade Stylesheets) to help create static websites also help, Git and Github helps developers deploy and upload folders of code remotely so it can be retrieved by other developers, software management concepts like DevOps and Agile Development were also taught to help students to be able to understand the process of (CI/CD) Continuous Intergration and Continuous Deployment. Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts are taught in the course/bootcamp which allow Large Language Models which helped me under the conceptually how Artificial Intelligence applications are created.
