My Journey with HyperionDev. Supportive, Patient, and Truly Worth It.As someone with absolutely no prior coding experience, I was nervous about starting a coding course. But my experience with HyperionDev has been nothing but patient, friendly, and incredibly supportive from day one.Whenever I hit a problem (which happened often as a beginner!), I could simply book a call with my tutor. They were always on time sometimes even early for our live sessions. That reliability made a huge difference when I was feeling stuck or overwhelmed.The weekly scheduled classes were shared well ahead of time, which made it easy to plan my week around them. Every person assisting me from tutors to support staff genuinely wanted to help me get the best results and fully understand each concept before moving on.Yes, it was stressful at times, especially fitting everything into a short time frame. But HyperionDev was right there with me through every challenge, making sure I never felt alone in my learning journey. If you’re a complete beginner looking for a coding school that truly cares about your success, I can’t recommend HyperionDev enough.

I appreciate Hyperion Dev for everything they have taught me. I could learn at my own pace with support available. There are eight mentor sessions per month. Online videos and PDF's to study each topic. I had to study on and off month here and there, and Hyperion Dev gave me the flexibility to do so. 

I am currently enrolled on the Data Science bootcamp at HyperionDev, and it is a rewarding and practical learning experience. Coming into the course with limited background in data science, I found the structured curriculum and one-on-one mentor support extremely helpful in building both confidence and competence.Pros:

Project-Based Learning: The hands-on approach with real coding projects, including capstone tasks like building data models and working with pandas, was great for applying concepts immediately.

Mentor Feedback: My mentors are very responsive and give clear, actionable feedback on my code. This personalized attention makes a huge difference in helping me improve.

Flexibility: The course is self-paced, which allowed me to manage learning around my other commitments.
Cons:

Content Clarity: A few tasks could benefit from clearer instructions or more detailed examples, especially for complex topics like python, like maybe have a few videos for beginners to watch before attempting a certain task,

Platform Issues: Occasionally, the platform was a bit buggy or slow, which interrupted the flow of study.
Conclusion:HyperionDev is a strong choice for beginners or career switchers interested in data science. While there’s room for improvement in the content delivery and platform stability, I am enjoying the course and now I am equipped with a solid foundation in Python, data analysis, and problem-solving.

 I have been studying with HyperionDev for around a month now and have been very impressed with the content and support on offer thus far. The documentation provided along with instructional videos and other resources have been excellent and have made it easy for me to make rapid progress in my learning (for reference I have a high level of mathematical competency, but have done little to no coding previously). I did have a few issues onboarding onto the course, but the support staff have been very quick to rectify these and supportive of any queries submitted in a timely manner. I have yet to fully engage with the job support on offer, so have not given this a top rating, but I have already received emails of job noticeboards etc and plan to make use of the career coaching offer moving forwards.

My HyperionDev data science bootcamp was fantastic! The curriculum was thorough, covering essential skills like Python, machine learning, and data visualization. The hands-on projects and supportive mentors significantly boosted my confidence and expertise. Highly recommended!

HyperionDev's Data Science Bootcamp is amazing for beginners who have never coded before. The cirriculum is comprehensive and guides you through the journey of writing your first code. If you ever get stuck on a task or need extra assistance in order to understand a component of the task, mentors are on hand for 1:1 calls. The mentors are friendly and willing to guide you to additional resources when to help you understand and explore concepts better for future use and available within 24 hours (full time students, guidelines vary for part time students).Each task has an expected due date in order to help keep you on track, but tasks are graded even when submitted after the due date. Time management skills are a must, but made easy with the dates they provide.Some tasks (called Capstone Projects) are larger tasks that require you to integrate the knowledge you learned in previous tasks to complete and can be used for your portfolio.

I found this bootcamp to be easily accessible as the course content was uploaded onto a cloud and my tasks were submitted the same way. I appreciated the structure of the course as the course content flowed and enough time was given in between each task to accommodate my doing it part time (though I did fall behind due to work pressures). I also appreciated the comprehensive feedback given on my task submissions, it confirmed what I understood about a specific topic and provided areas I could improve on. My only frustration was one of my tasks taking more than the suggested days to review and subsequently re-review. I was happy with the support I received after raising this issue, and any other issue I faced during this bootcamp the support is really great.

Stumbling upon HyperionDev Data Science bootcamp thanks to a lucky sighting on the London Tube has been an absolute game-changer for me. Getting started with a scholarship has been a journey filled with excitement and growth. What sets HyperionDev apart is their unwavering commitment to student success, evident in their multifaceted approach to learning.
Not only are students equipped with comprehensive theoretical knowledge through meticulously structured lectures, but they are also provided ample opportunities to reinforce their understanding through open class sessions tailored to address any lingering doubts. Moreover, the inclusion of career services sessions, portfolio development workshops, and enlightening tech talks ensures that graduates are well-prepared to confidently step into the realm of Data Science. That’s coming from me, a complete novice in the field.

HyperionDev Data Science bootcamp is setting the bar high for excellence in education. For people who are aiming to join this bootcamp, I must tell you, you need to “pull up your socks”, as the journey is challenging. However, the kind of support you receive, it makes you want to get up every morning and learn a new skill.

I am a student of the HyperionDev online bootcamp in Python and Data Science. The course itself is well-structured and the material is delivered in a concise but easy-to-understand manner. The Material is not at all "a mile wide and an inch deep", Instead I found the course to really dive into the fundamentals and even more complex issues of Data Science. Where the course really shines, however, is with the teaching and support teams. Queries to support are handled almost immediately and the team has a customer-first mindset that really shines through. The academic team is quick to mark assignments and provide you with a well-written and in-depth explanation of where you might improve. The mentor sessions are also great and the mentors are approachable as well as knowledgeable. 

I started the Hyperion Data Science Bootcamp around July 2023.The course started off simply but started to get really tough when you get the next levels (There are 3 of them).I'm doing the online bootcamp so I'm doing this remotely just so you know.What I like about the bootcamp:
At the beginning, the support staff used to call me to check how I was doing every week, so I felt reassured about the bootcamp.
They will send you an email if you fall off to check if all is okay.
The feedback on the task. This is what I really like the most about the bootcamp because your are told first what you did right, what you can improve and given some resources to further your skills.
The available mentor calls. You can schedule a video call with your mentor, you have a limited number, 8 I think per month, to converse with a mentor if you are struggling. This is very important especially when you are confused as to why things are not working.
Extra lectures. Besides the study material, there are scheduled lectures to go over the material and even ask questions. If you are a student, its good to be among other students in the video lecture hearing other ask questions and knowing you are not alone in your challenges.

What I think can be improved:
Although you do have tons of materials, support and extra lecturers, I felt that from Level 2, the material jumps from easily consumable to very difficult. In my opinion, this ramp up is too fast because too many complex material is thrust upon you and I found myself falling behind trying to find resources to explain the basics first of that task, then being able to understand what the task required, and then doing the task.
Level 1 should be shortened and greater time be given to the next levels. As I said in the first point, the first level's material is not that complicated, (maybe that's just me), the next levels are really next level and need more tasks and more examples so you can get it and be better equipped. For example, more examples and lessons on how to make your presentations tell the story, not just to create the graphs and explain what they represent and how to get the story across.
More engagement on the discord from the lecturers/mentors. I know that usually this a forum to foster student engagement with each other but an appearance from a mentor or lecturer would be of benefit to drive student participation and engage more. I did not feel their presence in the forum but I think their knowledge would have really helped is some of the questions especially queries on the school processes.

Would I recommend the bootcamp? Absolutely. The thing is, when learning about development, or being a data scientists, the onus is on you to do the work if you really want to be good at it. As others know, you have to deal with a lot of frustrations. The bootcamp should not really hold your hand but they do at the beginning and then let you do  things by yourself with support always at hand. Then they give you a framework so that you know what to do next. Then they give you the right tasks to build your foundation step by step and give you feedback along the way which is reassuring and keeps you on the right track. There are other things they provide you as well which only requires  your engagement but this post is way too long already. If you can afford it, this bootcamp should be on your top list. 

The bootcamp's well-structured curriculum, expert instructors, and the inclusive learning environment made it an ideal place to learn. I went into this bootcamp with no prior knowledge of coding. I have already started implementing my new skillset in my daily job. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a transformative learning experience that equips you with practical, job-ready skills.

I love how well structured this bootcamp is. I thought that I would be thrown in the deep end by not knowing anything about coding or data science but upon starting this bootcamp I saw how easy HyperionDev makes it for you to learn by providing you with sufficient course materials as well as videos which really helps. They also show when you’re falling behind by displaying your progress, in this way, if you’re a part time student like me, you could easily plan around your bootcamp and your job. HyperionDev is also very swift with responding to queries. Mentor support is very helpful when you’re stuck with something. Would 100% recommend HyperionDev if you’re looking to coding and related fields.

When ever I've had a problem I have been helped immediately whether it was submitting a query, having an online call with a tutor/mentor or calling them to resolve issues.Very impressed.

So many reviews on here from ‘students currently studying’ on the course.Who writes a review at the beginning or the middle of a course?😂 When we go to a restaurant do we leave a review whilst eating the food? No we wait once finished so we can examine ‘critically’ whether it was good or not. Too many fake reviews here misleading people.I finished the data science bootcamp and can confirm it is utter trash. So many students have spoken out against Hyperiondev because of the poor experience they have had too. Don’t waste your time with Hyperiondev. Very unprofessional, poor curriculum and support. Choose a different bootcamp.
