Web Development Fundamentals

I really enjoyed this course over the last 4 weeks. Before enrolling I did lots of research. After reading the amazing reviews, speaking with an advisor and not to mention..the affordability I knew this was a great fit. I'm glad I enrolled and will embarking on the complete software engineering path!

I took Nucamp's Web Development Fundamentals and it was just what I needed to get my feet wet. What stuck out about Nucamp first was the affordable price. As I started to look into it more I found a youtube video/podcast with the CEO and was very impressed by how honest and straightforward he was about bootcamps in general. The slack community here is great. I have enrolled in the Full Stack course and am super stoked for it. 

I chose Nucamp to begin my continuing education with Web Development. The deciding factor came down to price and the partially instructor led aspect. This was the right decision for me as I have come out of this course with a deeper understanding of basic web development fundamentals.

Very fast paced. Good info. Too much  to go through in 4 weeks.

The teacher was very knowledgeable on the subjects. Felt like he took the subject at my own pace so I can learn better.

At first, I was skeptical of how much I would absorb from going at our own pace with a Saturday workshop. Looking back, I can definitely say that you need to be sure to put in the time and effort to review all the material you are given for the week. Definitely 2-3+ hours was required per day and maybe you could take one day off and still get through. Overall, I feel I got what I put into it, and compared to other boot camps, this one is quite affordable. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and I certainly plan to go into the Full Stack course as soon as possible. I would highly recommend that if you are on the fence about a boot camp, at least jump into the Website Fundamentals to see if this type of structure is right for you.

Nucamp is great, it's affordable, the instructors really care about the students and the curriculum is good too. I think the beginner's course should be a little longer though. Maybe 6 weeks instead of 4. There should be a little more custom CSS, maybe dive a little deeper into positioning elements since that's what beginners usually struggle with the most. And with javaScript they could at least explain the very basics of objects and methods. But other than that the curriculum is solid.

Nucamp had the advantage over other courses due to specifically online meetings. Having a once a week workshop where fellow students and instructor can meet for 4 hours has a huge advantage over once a week, half hour instructor meetings that other programs offered. Even though other programs had instructors available throughout the week, I believe more time with an instructor is beneficial. In addition to the cost friendlier course, I appreciate the offer to help to prepare for job hunting/resume building. Some other courses would have a guarantee job placement when finished with the curriculum. I however researched that may not be the best decision for me. 

I was looking for a Bootcamp with an instructor that helps with the difficult stuff, and an affordable course as well, Nucamp set you on the path ,,, but remember it is always about your dedication and willingness to learn Nucamp will set some deadlines which is great .. i am thankful for them

Nucamp was a wonderful choice for me. I am an actor and looking for remote work and I have always had a love for tech and computers. I was very intimidated as I have zero professional/educational background in coding. The videos were clear, the example coding helped tremendously, and the workshop projects are thoughtfully put together to include most, if not all, of the content you have learned up to this point.

After weeks of research and deciding on starting a $20,000 bootcamp; I came across a youtube interview of Nucamp's founder on Don the Developer youtube channel. After watching the interview I became more intrigued with what NuCamp was offering. Once I saw the newly added Complete Software Engineering bootcamp path, for 11 months on a part-time schedule, I no longer could justify the $20,000 I was going to throw into an online bootcamp. I Just completed the Web Fundamentals portion of the Complete bootcamp, and I have not regretted my decision. 

I'm in the process of a career change and had been reading review after review of bootcamps.  I was becoming overwhelmed with it all when I stumbled upon Nucamp.  I went to their website to read more about their values and goals for their students. The more I read, the more I found this was the bootcamp for me.  Small class sizes, actual live sessions with the instructor, well laid out courses, and all at a price point that I could easily work into my budget.   I am extremely satisfied with my experience and education from Nucamp so far and look forward to the rest of my bootcamp journey.

The price was the deciding factor on my enrolling in Nucamp.  I was surprised in how much material we actually covered.  I recommend Nucamp to everyone that is looking for some additional or initial training.  This was hands down the best decision I have made for my career.

I have been wanting to learn to code for years and never thought I had the time to do it. This BootCamp was great because I could work, be with my family and spend my own free time learning how to code. I would HIGHLY recommend Nucamp to anyone out there that doesn't feel like they have it in them. Just do it!

I enrolled in Nucamp because I felt in order to get into tech and become a developer I needed to join a bootcamp! Thankfully I found Nucamp just by browsing and reading the reviews. I was nervous at first learning the material and joining my first workshop. But that all went away as I got to meet so many different people from many different backgrounds and experiences who all wanted to pursue the same passion that I wanted to as well. I love Nucamp and I hope you do to.

I joined Nucamp in order to learn a new skill and I was not dissapointed. I signed up for the next course and plan to pursue a career as a developer. 

Great course, very easy to understand, and the instructor was thorough and engaging. I only took the intro course, but will definitely come back for one of the more in-depth bootcamps in the future.
