If you've been struggling to learn on your own and work full-time Nucamp bootcamps  is ideal because they give you a  balance by providing a structured curriculum, a time frame, mix of self learning, 1 class a week and a community to help throughout your journey.I started with the web development fundamentals to get a feel of the process i can say it's well organised and affordable, if you're a beginner i would say do everything ahead of time so you know what doesn't work and the right questions to ask.

Overall I would say that the enrollment cost that Nucamp asks for is good for what they provide. The best thing about Nucamp for me was the community. At first, I was skeptical about enrolling in Nucamp since the fee is about 15% of what other bootcamps are offering. I was also worried that there might not have enough interaction between me and my fellow students or the instructor. Turns out, the community on Slack is very active and helpful to one another in solving problems and the instructor has been supportive to us. Given that I enrolled in web development fundamentals, I plan to continue learning on Nucamp.

I enrolled in Nucamp to learn software engineering. The web fundamentals course was challenging, but it also prepared me for what will be expected from me to be knowledgeable about as I move forward in my course work.

I enrolled in Nucamp's complete software engineering track to transition away from a career as a sales engineer.  So far, I have finished the web development fundamentals bootcamp.  The course gave a decent beginner's look into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, although I think it would be better suited as a 6-week course with more time to focus on certain areas.  My instructor was a full-stack web developer outside of her role at Nucamp and offered tons of outside resources and help throughout the week to keep me on track.Where I feel Nucamp is lacking so far is the community aspect.  They assign cohorts to private Slack channels and we all come together for workshops every Saturday, but in my experience everyone had their cameras off and mics muted, the workshop assignments were done solo, and there was basically no encouragement to interact with your cohort members.  If you are looking for a bootcamp with group work and lots of interaction with peers, I might suggest to look elsewhere.  But as a beginner's look into the world of front-end web development, Nucamp is an affordable and high quality option for a solo learner. 

Hello! I enrolled in Nucamp looking to start a career change, it was the right choice for me because it was cost effective and could work around my schedule. This first bootcamp really gave me a strong foundation to learn on.

I was in need of a career change and have been interested in coding for the last year or so. I interviewed with a few schools and researched a handful of coding bootcamps. I finally decided on Nucamp due to their communication response time, affordable courses and flexibility with coursework. I am happy with everything so far!

   I'm just finishing the online HTML CSS and Javascript bootcamp offered by Nucamp. I have been wanting to get into software development since I was little but always found other thing ]s to do. I've also had intentions of continuing education but found it cost prohibitive or too of a commitment to dive in. When I found   Nucamp has online courses that are approachable to me for my budget schedule and level of (lack of that is) knowledge. I the curriculum well explained and demonstrated in videos so I was able to study on my schedule and re-watch as many times as I needed to figure out a problem. They help you get plugged into a broad community of devs. Students, teachers and alumni along with the wider internet community and resources, lessons, templates... Anything I need to know, I can now find. There is so much to learn I end up down the rabbit-hole of learning fun tweaks and application of the fundamentals I've been building over the course, just having fun with it. I like to learn on my own and this provides me a deluge of content to immerse myself in, peruse at leisure or search as necessary for a project.  I was also able to get a fair, reasonable loan with payments differed over a year. The value is hard to overstate but I can say that, though I'm sure I'll be able to find work and look forward to a career I'm going to love , especially with the massive social networking opportunities, I'm not at all concerned about managing the loan if for some reason I don't. This course has been a little challenging to me as a new coder but so much fun I'm spending most of my time on learning platforms and forums trying to soak up as much as I can. I'm really looking forward to the next phase in my journey into tech and eager continue tapping into the inexhaustible amount of information that Nucamp's most basic of courses has lifted the veil of for me to explore.  If your at all interested in tech I highly suggest considering Nucamp as your launch board into the vast world that awaits.  Peace and love! 

Great intro in Web Development. Instructor was dope, as well as the class setup was great to work together to try and figure out solutions. Your success greatly depends on how much you put into it. Self guided videos during the week with a Saturday lecture and a workshop to put what you learned into action. I appreciated the challenge and it worked well for me. Excited to try Dev Ops!

I was looking for bootcamps for a while that best fit me and the one I kept hearing best reviews about was Nucamp so after giving the courses a look over and liking the way they organized their courses and lessons just made me feel like I had a lot of things to do here with such a versitle training experience. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I enrolled in Nucamp's Web Fundamentals course to expand my career options and professional development. Its flexibility and learning platform were everything I'd hoped it would be, and I'll be enrolling in their back end and and full stack courses as a result.

I really enjoyed this bootcamp as it provided a solid foundation for more advanced bootcamps. I had some coding experience, but I wanted to have a strong foundation before moving ahead to Full Stack bootcamp. I'm now registered for Full Stack and looking forward to it. Our instructor (Mehrnaz Ahmadi) was great and very knowledgable throughout the entire bootcamp. She made the virtual sessions really interactive and informative and most of all very supportive. She was great at responding any questions that were asked during the week and always responded pretty fast which is great when you are taking any bootcamp and time is limited.

What led me to enrolling in Nucamp was the affordability, not having to be in a physical classroom setting for multiple days in a row since I work a full time job and the rolling class schedule instead of the traditional semesters. I thimk so far it has been the right decision, my only caveat is that I wish the course offered workshop classes on different days and times. I work a rotating schedule for work so Saturday mornings are not always feasible and if you miss more than one a month the school advises you to drop the course and reenroll when you can make 3 workshops a month. 

It's a really good starting point for learning web development.  Instructors do a really great job when it comes to binding the group, and passing on the knowledge. As for me, the biggest plus is the fact that by doing it online you still got these Saturday's workgroup which kinda motivates you to do the whole week's material as you know you will need it for the workshop.

I enrolled in Nucamp because I was to pivot into tech from a legal background. I strongly believe I made the right decision because I had no previous knowledge of coding prior to  the bootcamp and I have learned more than I anticipated. I have created and corrected forms, learned to identify errors in CSS and Javascript whereas I had no idea what I was looking at 30 days ago. Looking forward to whats next in store.

Love the small chunk contents with manageable incremental difficulty weekly assignment. Most of all, I like the accountability and helpfulness of the instructor, Ian. I just can't believe how much I have grown over this short period of time. 

As someone with no coding experience at all, I wanted to start off with a basic level course. I found the nucamp Web Fundamentals course and thought it would be a good way to start. I really enjoyed the 4 weeks of this course and was very happy with the content and instruction.  I think this is a great way for someone with no experience to see if this is truly the path they want to take. For me, it is and I am looking forward to seeing what I learn in my next course from nucamp.

I'm grateful that I found Nucamp, just as I was reconciling myself to paying ~10x as much for tuition in another bootcamp. My Nucamp experience in the (optional) beginning bootcamp, Web Development Fundamentals, has been excellent. Very well-presented, engaging, great access to resources and support. You provide the hard work, and Nucamp provides a very welcoming, encouraging and responsive learning community. No trolls in the chat forum! :^) The Fundamentals course is an affordable, sane way to find out if coding is a good match for you, and if so, you're in the right place to keep moving forward.
 

For full disclosure: after I registered for the bootcamp, I did get a job at Nucamp in the admin office, but my review isn't written from that standpoint. Based on my own experience as a student in the Web Fundamentals bootcamp, I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore a career in coding.
