Software QA Engineering

The careerist school gave me a lot of knowledge. The training program was very productive and useful without unnecessary information. I would like to thank all the couches who were during the internship and training stages. And I would also like to thank Victor, who always helped and was in touch. I definitely recommend this school to everyone.

 I initially heard about Careerist from my good friends wife. She had taken the Manual QA Course, got a job, then went on to take the Automation course. She knew my situation at the time, that my fiancé and I were pregnant at the time, I was working an okay job, but I was really wanting a career so I could have a way to take care of my growing family. She told me about this online school, Careerist! She told me that it could help me land a well paying job like it did for her. I was still skeptical because she said how quickly it could all be completed in. It almost sounded too good to be true. But I figured you know what, what if I can pull it off?! What if I really could land a job on the computer where I could either work from home, in an office, or a combination of both?! I was super excited and went ahead and signed up. I was nervous, not knowing if I had what it takes. But I did it! The classes were great. All of them had a live person teaching the class that was already, or had previously been in the field of QA. They were always asking if we had questions, and when any of us did they would always make sure we understood before going on. And if someone still had an issue, they would say, email me after class, or email a mentor and we will help you understand. It was a lot of notes, and honestly it took me a little longer to complete the classes because I wrote so many notes and wanted to make sure I understood what I was being taught to the best of my abilities. After completing all my classes I even got to work on two projects (internships). One with the school, and one with a third party company. It really helped bring what we had learn in classes all together. Got us hands on with the programs and everything. It was a great experience. After that they taught me how to create a really good resume. A cover letter. And a LinkedIn profile! I also got to work with a career coach who goes over everything! Mine was Viktor Tsoy he is a great man. He never gave up on me and was always eager to see what I needed next to move me along the process of finding a job. They actually care at Careerist. They help prepare you for the interview. Help you learn how to present yourself not just to the interviewer, but to the recruiters as well. And they stick with you until you land a job! There are some really great people at Careerist. I'm very thankful for them!

I recently completed the Software QA Engineer course. The course provided an excellent balance of theory and practical experience, making complex concepts easy to understand. The instructors were knowledgeable and responsive, offering clear explanations and helpful tips that truly enhanced my learning experience. In the internship stage we had chance to apply knowledge what I learned. This course improved my software skills but has also boosted my confidence in pursuing a career in QA engineering. I recently completed the Careerist Manual SQA Engineering bootcamp, and it was an amazing experience. It was my first bootcamp, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I can confidently say that my skepticism quickly turned into genuine appreciation for the program. 
 From the very beginning, I was impressed by the structure and quality of the course. The lessons were clear, well-organized, and designed to progressively build my knowledge and skills in Software Quality Assurance.   The instructors were exceptional. They were not only experts in the field but also very open, passionate and dedicated during delivery. Careerist also offered invaluable career coaching and support in preparation for job search.  The hands-on internship component was the major highlight for me. It provided real-world experiences that solidified the concepts I was taught. I think that this practical exposure has given me the confidence I need to take on real SQA tasks. Drawbacks? Despite my initial concerns about the length and timing of the classes--being from the East Coast—the engaging nature of the classes made the long hours worth it.  Overall, the Careerist bootcamp exceeded my expectations in every way. The supportive environment, combined with expert instruction and valuable practical experience, made for a truly enriching learning journey. I feel well-prepared to start my career in Software Quality Assurance. I have not yet started the final part of the program -actual Job Search-so I am unable to comment on that aspect at this time (I will return to do so at a future date). However, I am very optimistic and confident in my abilities due to the comprehensive training I’ve received. I am really looking forward to beginning that phase next week and I am eager to apply the skills I’ve learnt throughout the program.  I would highly recommend Careerist for your QA training.

Meeting and working with my Career Coach, Viktor, has been a wonderful experience. He is very knowledgeable! His guidance and encouragement is invaluable! Careerist as a whole is very thorough! I recently completed the Manual QA course and am now starting the Automation QA course. I’m currently working with my career coach, Viktor, who actively supports and guides me in my job search. Best course to get into tech. Graduated in 2021 and successfully found a job in QA, but still get help from my mentor whenever I need! The best part was the real-world applications; I was able to implement what I learned immediately, which has already made a positive impact on my skills. Plus, the support from both the instructor and the course community made it feel collaborative and interactive, even online.

Thanks to Careerist for allowing me to realize my dream. That is working in IT. Indeed, it wasn't easy, but I followed my mentor's instructions, whom I thank. I am grateful to the Careerist team for developing a curriculum that catered to working professionals while ensuring that all participants developed the skills required to become a successful Manual QA Tester. After working a fulltime job in a none related field each week day, the assignments and projects offered through Careerist really motivated me to keep on the path of becoming a Software QA Engineer.  The preparation I received starting in October 2023 helped me land a full time job as a Quality Assurance Analyst in April 2024. 

The Careerist Manual QA course is a great program for anyone looking to break into the quality assurance career path. I've recently completed all the course work and both of the two required internships, and I feel fully prepared to soon start my job search. The instructors are very educated and friendly, and communication with them is always fast and reliable. The course content is thorough without being overbearing, and the internships have made me comfortable doing real QA work. Looking forward to preparing for the job search with all the provided content to help make the process easier. 

I enrolled in the Careerist Manual QA course out of curiosity, not even aware that QA software testing existed :-). I was pleasantly surprised as a whole new world unfolded before my eyes with the help and support from Careerist. The materials are well-organized and easy to follow, and the time is flexible; you can access it later if you missed the online class. If you have any questions, rest assured that you will receive answers.To be honest, I doubt that you can secure a job solely with the content and materials provided by Careerist. It requires additional research, time investment, and effort to enhance your chances. 

My QA Manual Internship was amazing! I got to work on real projects and learn the ins and outs of manual testing. The mentors were super supportive, guiding us through everything. It's a perfect opportunity for anyone looking to start a career in quality assurance. I gained practical skills that I know will be invaluable in the future. Highly recommend it!

Taking the Manual Quality Assurance course has been a game changer! Through the tutelage of my instructors  I've been able to learn skills that have  opened new doors for me in my life. I am forever grateful and thankful.

I wanted a course that offered pre-recorded lectures and interactive classes at the same time. I chose Careerist because the schedule was optimal and they allowed me to split my payments more conveniently than other platforms. A SMALL DISCLAIMER: it’s impossible to spend just half an hour per week studying. You need to concentrate, analyze and memorize A LOT on your own. BUT the Careerist teachers are very supportive and they will answer all your questions and send you feedback.
