I feel like I’m ready for my first job interview, but let me graduate first.

I wanted to break into data analytics… In the 2nd month of the course I felt like it might not be for me. I was among the worst-performing students and I even thought about giving up. It is broken down so you are able to learn and apply what you have learned. If you stick with it you’ll understand it. Didn’t really like how it was always different instructors some were better at teaching than others. The internship helped to learn alot because it’s hands on it can be overwhelming sometimes but it’s doable. Overall I liked it no complaints 

The biggest mistake I made was skipping online classes. 😬 I had no tech experience and I took the QA bundle. I struggled to catch up with the rest of the group. When I put more effort into my studies I began to perform much better. The teachers were super helpful. They explained both the tech part and the career part in detail. They were always patient and positive. I recommend this course to anyone who wants to study diligently.

I had my ups and downs during my studies. Some things weren’t easy to understand. Sometimes I didn’t have enough time because I also work full-time. I wish the teachers and career coaches could spend more time with me... Anyway, I’m happy that I graduated and learned so much useful info! For now I’ve had only one job interview and they didn’t hire me. I’m staying optimistic and keeping on searching! 

I’ve been studying systems engineering for 2 months and my perception of this occupation has changed considerably… It turned out to be more difficult and exciting than I imagined. They say that generally people study 6-8 hours per week on this course, but for me it takes around 10 hours because I want to memorize every single detail and I practice a lot on my own. Hopefully I will keep enjoying it until graduation.

I began to think about online tech courses two years ago. First I lacked money and then I wasn’t sure which course to choose. Now I’m about to complete the Systems Engineering course at Careerist. I haven’t found a job yet but I’ve talked to graduates who are employed and they inspire me. Career coaching is so comprehensive so I’m not too worried about the job search.

I haven't worked for the last 10 years because I have small kids and I had no technical background, so I was quite nervous at the beginning of the course. The instructors said I was a quick learner, :) but I felt a bit insecure because I didn't know how to deal with employers. My career coach helped me a lot, she was absolutely brilliant! She explained everything to me and I rehearsed the interview. Now it’s time to start looking for a job.

I learned manual QA just for fun. I collected a portfolio and began to apply for jobs but no one wanted me! I asked the employers for feedback but nobody replied. ☹️ So then I enrolled for the course. At careerist, they explained what I did wrong. I finally got a job two weeks before graduation. I think I was the first person in my group who got hired!!

I completed the manual QA course. I graduated three weeks ago and now I’m actively looking for a job. I use jas, linkedin and job boards. I had two interviews (one from jas and the other from linkedin) and one job offer. A startup almost hired me but they wanted me to work remotely and I don’t feel 100% confident for that yet… I want a hybrid job so that I can watch how more experienced testers work. So I had to decline their offer. Some might say I’m reckless but I’m not in a hurry and I want to find the perfect job.

I joined the manual QA course to start a new life. Recently I’ve completed it. I found the course structure well-paced and the content comprehensive. The instructors' clear expertise and real-world examples truly helped me grasp the concepts. While a tad challenging at times, the course has significantly boosted my confidence in QA testing. It's never too late to learn, and this course proves that.

To expand my career opportunities, I completed the QA Automation course at Careerist. Probably, I could have learned some things on my own. But it’s always great to get advice from experienced tech pros. Plus, I got a formal certificate, which is essential for some companies that I’d like to apply to. 

QA Manual is a simple and helpful guide for testing software by hand. It's good for beginners and experts to learn important methods and tips. Definatly recommend it to everyone. I enjouned joining online classes and following the instructions. 

First, I made a spreadsheet where I compared all the options. Then, I got in touch with the teams of all the platforms to assess how they communicate and answer questions. In the final standings, Careerist scored two points higher than the runner-up. I’m halfway through the UX course now and I don’t regret my choice at all.

Right now I’m in the internship program, and I have nothing but great things to say about careerist ! The instructors are well educated and great at explaining what we are doing as a Manual QA. I’ll leave another review once I land that tech job! 

 I felt nervous in the beginning. But in the second week already, I felt that the process was completely under control! I loved the pace of my studies and the commitment of the teachers. It was a valuable experience and I greatly appreciated career advice.
