Just finished the QA

Just finished the QA course and gotta say, it was way cooler than I expected. The instructors really knew their stuff and didn't make it feel like rocket science. Thumbs up for the practical stuff – helped me wrap my head around things!

Quick and impactful

I absolutely love how the courses are concise and relevant. When I decided to go into IT, I didn’t exactly have a lot of money saved up, so long courses with lots of unnecessary information weren’t my kind of thing, since I needed to get done as quickly as possible. To cut it short, I graduated from the Sales course and currently have a decent salary and am looking for a promotion within 2-3 months. Lucky me! :)

Careerist Tech Sales course

One of Careerist’s advantages is that they provide full support for their graduates until the job contract is signed. I graduated from the Sales Engineering course and had the platform’s support all the way until I got a job 2 months after graduating. I absolutely love how the course is organized so you get so much more than just lectures. The course itself is rather short but it really upgrades your skills at warp speed thanks to the internships and guidance from the mentors who all work in the sales sphere and help you with your resume after graduation.Another advantage of the course is that the mentors are always open to your questions, before, after, and of course during the classes.

QA Manual

Today, I’ve graduated from the QA Manual boot camp. To all of those who came before me — thank you for paving the way. The lectures and the following internships were  constructive, invigorating and highly encouraging for a fruitful professional success. I can see myself working in this field. Specially, during the internships ( two of them following each other) we encountered many “bugs” and some blockers. Nevertheless, we were well trained  to approach assigned issues in JIRA and ’Verify’   accordingly in TestRail.  A big applause to careerist.

QA Manual

I just finished the QA Manual Course and it was fantastic! The lessons were clear, the instructors were helpful, and I learned skills I can use right away. I feel more confident in manual testing now. Highly recommend!

As for me, the best thing about Careerist courses is that they are done in a bootcamp format.

You have tons of materials and studying to do but the information given is the knowledge you will actually need. You get loads of homework but it’s the practical skills that you sharpen by doing it. The classes are quite intense but you can always ask a question and get a proper reply. What I’m trying to say is that you get a lot of important information that you will be able to apply in a very short amount of time. There is always the option to rewatch a lesson on the internal Careerist platform of course, but if you are a quick learner this bootcamp approach is the best since we’re all aiming to get a job in the end.

Informative and helpful

When I first contacted the Careerist team, I didn’t know which course to choose. The career advisor recommended manual QA to me as a beginner. I took this course and now I can say that’s very well-structured and understandable. What I enjoy the most is practical tips and real cases from the teacher’s personal experience as it gives an insider look at the sphere

1:1 coaching was the best part

I was homeschooled and I realize the difference between group classes and individual ones. However, I started a group course to better feel the vibes of working in tech. I selected Careerist because of 1:1 coaching. I extremely enjoyed my conversations with the coaches! They always found enough time for me and gave comprehensive answers to all my questions.

Thanks for help getting my first job in IT!

I finished the Manual QA course with Careerist, and I am very glad that I've done it! I was skeptical from the beginning, but after a year of working in the IT industry, I must say that their training program equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of software testing. And even more! The instructors are experienced professionals who provide hands-on training and guidance throughout the course. The other great thing about Careerist is that mentors assist students in finding job opportunities, and lead them in job seeking process.

The course was pretty decent. Let’s see how long it will take me to find a job…

Everything was fine but I wish there were more interactivity. And I wouldn’t mind studying a bit longer to get more knowledge and compose a larger portfolio. I studied Systems Engineering. It was a bit difficult but nice. I’m trying to find my first tech job now, wish me luck!

Liked it

I had the best time in the manual course! It was so worth it! At first, I was a bit unsure if I'd like it, but I was pleasantly surprised. They did an awesome job mixing theory and hands-on practice, which made learning really enjoyable.

It’s more than learning how to use Adobe tools

I’m a self-taught designer. Before I enrolled in the UX design course, I knew how to cope with the creative part of this job. But I knew nothing about user flow analysis, hypothesis development and other aspects related to research. The Careerist team showed me that design isn’t only about visual aesthetics. It’s a mix of business and science which is enjoyable and not so difficult. Thaanks so much, the course was top-notch!

Enjoying my new job

I used to be suspicious of all the online courses… there are so many of them and they teach the same skills. What matters for me is real success stories of both teachers and graduates. Careerist graduates work for tech giants such as meta or amazon. And teachers are current practitioners! That’s why I opted for Careerist. Now the funniest thing… When I graduated, I accepted an offer from a startup and not a tech giant because the conditions were simply superb…

Finding work+life+school balance with Software Manual QA Training through Careerist

I will tell anyone who asks me how happy I have been with my choice of program through Careerist to train as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. My experience to this point right up to my "real world" internship and entry into the job market has been absolutely 100% what the webinar about the program promised. Here's some bullet points to keep the affirmation precise:
It was a fast track into the tech field. The entire Manual QA course is paced to get you in and out ready for a fresh job search in your new industry in 3 months flat.
Accessible with zero technical background. If you can handle your PC and mobile phone comfortably, you can learn the material and perform the functions of the work by course end. No bull.
Cost was fair, given the nature of the services offered for your career pivot. It's cheaper if you pay up front but they got me hooked up with financing under my good to fair credit through a third party. This actually made the program attainable for me to complete with for the cost of one nice dinner a month as a start. (And isn't getting started always the hardest part of a major life change?)
Value is excellent. Career counseling resume and linkedin optimization services included in your program alone is worth the price of admission.
It was manageable to not only "keep up" but be on time and comfortably paced around a full time job and a family life. This was my biggest concern about full time college or a night school program in general, if I would run myself to death trying to spin all the plates without dropping any.
The instructors were varied, pros in their field and all offered a unique and valuable perspective into our new field based on their actual experiences. While all of them were excellent guides, I worked the most closely with the instructor for my group's internal internship; Viktoriia Simak. I found her teaching style to be perfect for this type of material where the requirements for each assignment were clearly laid out, and she would communicate revisions needed to bring your work up to professional levels, and where you could improve to make it even better. Where I was unsure if I could master the nuances of the typical industry practices to be at a fully professional level by course end, Viktoriia not only made sure I was, she gave me the confidence that I was too. Can you teach yourself tech skills online? Yes. But the careerist program will answer your questions, get you hands on experience, give you confidence in your competence, and help open those doors to actually land the job.

Knowledgeable, Helpful, encouraging.

I would highly recommend Careerist if you are wanting to break into tech. I was skeptical at first(didn't know what to expect). I have now graduated and am about to do my internship outside of Careerist. My instructors are absolutely wonderful and really are available if you need help or don't know something. Thank you to everybody here at Careerist!

Well spaced and no pressure

A very interesting course that is well planned and focused not only on learning the job, but also getting the job, they offer free classes to see if it is something you would like. I really appreciated the ability to reach out for support, however one must also apply themselves to get the course done in a timely manner.
