When choosing a tech course I considered only the options with a money-back guarantee. Careerist promises to give back 100% of the tuition fee to those who fail to get employed within 1 year after graduation. It made me feel more confident and I began to trust it more. I wanted a fully remote QA job with a flexible schedule and a decent salary. It took me four months to find such a job. Maybe, I could have coped faster. But honestly I didn’t concentrate my efforts exclusively on job search.

All of the instructors are very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the materials in a way that a beginner can understand.  They also took the time to explain any questions multiple times if necessary.  The coursework was great and laid out in a way that is not overwhelming to a beginner like myself.  The internal internship was really good it helps build your confidence in your new skill sets.  My Lead Helen was absolutely amazing.  She explained everything in detail and gave good feedback both positive and negative but always in a way to build you up. I would highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to get into the tech field.   

The instructors are great, patient and full of the appropriate knowledge to help you learn efficiently. I had a great experience learning, taking quizzes, reviewing, and working with many different software. They care about your success and are dedicated to helping you learn the required information to find a long lasting career.

I saw people here talking about how difficult it is to change spheres and begin studying something new, but very few mentioned that paying for the courses can also be a problem for some people. I did manual QA with Careerist, you learned a lot within a short time, and the internal project was a good experience. However, the QA lead of the external project wasn’t good with communication and could not elaborate on the tasks properly, but overall it was ok. The downside of the program is, Careerist is not honest with the Job market. It is challenging and almost impossible to find Jobs based on only manual QA experience; employers want people with QA Automation experience. I would have appreciated it if they were honest about this and gladly paid for the manual QA + Automation combo, knowing there would be a job for me when I finish the course. Careerist prefers when you do the manual QA first and then advise you and expect you to pay for the automation course(extra $4000) if you don’t get a job; that’s manipulation. It’s not a bad program/investment if jobs are available, but there aren’t; I’ve been looking for one for the past three months! So how can I pay a $4200 loan without a job? They also assured me of a money-back guarantee, but I doubt they will give me back my money if I don’t get a job; just another lie/scam. 

I had no technical background before and I expected that it would be quite difficult for me to understand everything. But in fact it turned out to be a really well-structured course with detailed information presented in a comprehensible form. But the best thing for me is that mentors do really help not to give up - they don’t only explain complex issues but also motivate and support. Now it’s 2.5 months after the course, my mentor still keeps in touch with me and I finally have my first offers! I’m very happy and thankful ☺️

Changing your life and starting over from scratch is always difficult, and if you are willing to try your hand at the IT sector you have to be highly motivated... What I want to say is that Careerist is not just a bunch of qualification courses. Careerist courses have 2 very important points that I can relate to. I recently completed the Manual quality assurance course with Careerist. From inception to completion, I had a good experience. The course is well structured and organized.  All the tutors were very professional and knowledgeable.  They were all very patient and took their time to explain in detail all the information being taught and provided clarity when needed. All sessions were recorded, so lessons can be reviewed limitless times for better understanding if needed. I had a great experience learning Manual QA skills at Careerist! The instructors were very clear on the explanation of the content that was taught and the lessons were easy to understand. She was very helpful by directing on how to do the tasks on our daily meetings and also with a summary after every meeting that was also helpful to deliver the assignments with no difficulties.

I finished my course on time and they couldn’t find me job interview so I called the customer service to request money back but it got denied saying the advisor was wrong 😑. Stay away big fraud 

They are saying that the situation changed in qthe market that's why you guys can't find a job.. No one said that when we were in the course, I am sending my resume from the first day when I finished the careerist courses. Around 10.000 resumes I sent already No one asked me what we learned in the course. They are teaching nothing in the courses. For more than 1 year I got 2-3 interview and they all asked for the selenium with java, cucumber, gitd, Microsoft programs, amazon programs, data base and act..I want my money back, you guys doing a scam, I'll do my best to get my paid $3500 money back...The course owner lied to us by showing a couple of old students who were working already or I don't know, maybe just paid for that and promote the manual scam qa

In February I stumbled upon an online program, joined FREE webinar, and decided to immediately join it. The program was focused on the Manual tester role in Software industry. It was to the point. Each module was followed by  quiz, our group on slack allowed us to answer questions regarding study, support team is fantastic, replied to our emails within ten minutes. After our study is over, we are assigned a mentor, who helped us prepare our resume, our linkedin profile and job interview Q&As. The program is well structured and pretty straightforward for someone who has basic tech understanding. The classes are consistently challenging but on a chill pace so I never felt like I as falling behind, and had the opportunity to revisit lessons and materials to answer some questions that popped out during my own exploration of the technology we'll be using. The instructors have real world experience in the field and not only did they answer questions related to the subjects they were teaching us about, but also shared their experiences getting into QA and working in different companies with al kinds of teams. The support team was on hand most of the time and helped us navigate the program. And after finishing the 7 weeks of lessons, the internal project and pre-internship team really helped us fully use all the terms, technology, tasks and standards we learned along the way. It helped me polish the knowledge I attained in the previous weeks and put it to use. I'm about to start my internship next week, and in a few weeks I'll be out there looking for a job in a brand new (for me) career that was completely out of my sight just 4 months ago.  From what I've been told, we will have someone mentoring us until we land a job, so I'm excited about that and about the road ahead.

I enrolled in a QA Software engineer boot camp with Careerist and it has been a simple, good learning experience thus far. The one thing that can be better is the understanding of the material we need to do. Other than that, it has been great!
