The Careerist manual qa course provides flexibility allowing you to learn while managing home life and work life. The instructors are extremely helpful and you never feel out of place when asking a question. The experience and feedback you get from the internal internship is invaluable and helps the learning process. If you’re not afraid of learning something new, this is the route to go.

Not only is this Bootcamp affordable but it was extremely informative, educational and practical. They have well structured Live lessons ( that are also recorded if you cannot attend the live session) that teach you the required theory but also have great practical hands on exercises (homework) that help to build a foundation for the skills you'll acquire and the industry leading tools that you'll be using. They also offer 2 internships so that once you've completed all the classes you'll be ready to hit the open job market with actual real life experience for your Resume/CV. They also provide Career Coaches to help you focus on successfully landing that first job in Manual QA. I have and would continue to recommend this program to anyone looking to break into this amazing field. 

I couldn’t afford the full tuition fee upfront. I asked several course providers to offer personalized payment plans for me and Careerist offered the most comfortable option. After completing the system engineering course, I got my first job rather easily but left it in two months. It took me 11 weeks to find a perfect job enabling me become a digital nomad. I feel free and happy now.

Overall I have been satisfied with the lessons and instructors that have been teaching me in how to do Manuel QA. Also liked that the bootcamp comes with an internship was satisfied with it since it got me familiar with the job.

I’m currently in the external internship phase. Careerist has done an amazing job going step by step with me, gaining the knowledge to become a player in this tech world. I started with no clue, and now I’m close to being able to apply and land a work from home job. Family and traveling is something I’ve always wanted to do. Thanks to Careerist, I can be able to work on the go. With no worries of a on-site job putting in for vacation. 

My Experience Was Definitely Helpful With My Comfort Of Changing Careers Into Something I had No Background In. The Instructors Was Top Tier On Making Sure Everyone Understood Before Moving On And Very Patient With Breaking Down Things To Have Very Great Examples. 

I really liked every bit of this course. The learning phase was very easy and understandable. I mean, everyone can start and become great at this. This course and this people allow you to have the best knowledge, best practice and what's most important, everything is up to date. Every material, every tutor is from this time period. Everyone is still in this job and they give you the material that is relevant for today. I think you just have to trust me, and just start. You will not be disappointed I can guarantee it!

I wasn’t sure how I could become a real QA tester if I studied only 6-8 hours per week. Now, I realize that for me it’s the best format for studying as I can keep working. When I study, I can properly concentrate and I don’t get exhausted. I especially like Maria and Justin, they’re really talented teachers! I decided to leave this review after I had my first mockup interview. I made so many mistakes and now I know how to avoid them. Besides, I missed many important aspects when trying to fill in my LinkedIn profile on my own and I needed help to improve it.

I joined the Systems Engineering course with only basic computer skills. I can confirm that such a low level of competence is enough to get started. The teachers are very articulate and attentive to detail. They make everyone feel confident and psychologically comfortable. It’s just as important as explaining how to use various tools. 

I have no tech experience and I got tired of my current sphere, so my husband who’s working in QA recommended Careerist to me based on the opinions of his colleagues. Now I’m learning and sometimes I ask him to assess my skills and knowledge. So far, he’s proud of me :) He says Careerist knows how to prepare students for work. Personally, I love that teachers share large amounts of useful information with us without overloading us mentally and emotionally.

Max is an excellent teacher and leader. Although my internship was held virtually, it felt as though I was in a physical classroom. I was originally nervous but made it through. I am proud to say that I enjoyed being Max’s student!

I completed the Sales Engineering course. Previously, I was a sales rep in b2b business and then in ed tech. What the Careerist team taught me was very different from the traditional sales techniques. My new job doesn’t imply selling products but finding ways of improving them. I fell in love with this occupation during the discovery & research stage of the internship simulator. While I was studying a startup wanted to hire me. But I preferred to work for a more stable business and this is what I’m doing now 

The course material is well organized and delivered in small doses. This allows for a high-level of comprehension and understanding of the subject matter for students. Sometimes the instruction can be confusing at times but after clarification and further explanation, it gets better. The instructors are awesome at responding to your questions. The course starts out with some background on the concept of Manual QA and the employment outlook. By week two you are introduced to main testing types, and bug classification, After all of the concepts/theory you move into creating test cases and bug reports. Those are the two main tasks you will be performing as QA engineer. After several projects, quizzes and self study...you're ready for your 2 internships. The first one is internal with Careerist and the second one is an external internship with a real company, doing actual tasks that emulate what you'll be doing in the real world. Lastly, comes the career coaching part of the boot camp which definitely is designed to set you up for success. All of this within a span of 15 weeks! Worth the money! Do it!

I have currently completed my coursework with Careerist as well as my first internal project. What a great experience! All the instructors are experienced, passionate and excellent at helping their students learn the material. Like many others just starting, I was not confident at first but after my first internship I know I can do the work. All you have to do is follow their instructions. I am excited to start my real world internship next week. After that I will be placed with a mentor who will help me land a job. I can't believe I didn't even know about Manual QA a few months ago! I highly recommend Careerist to anyone who may be on the fence.

I love that the Manual QA course was set up with the idea that anyone could follow it regardless of their prior experience. You can really see how much work has been put into organizing the learning process properly.The most impressive thing is that the tutors for the courses are not just ordinary teachers who only work for the money. All the instructors I’ve met during my 2 courses (Manual & Automation QA) are actually working elsewhere within the spheres they teach. Receiving knowledge from experienced practitioners that have a passion for their job is the most effective, IMHO! Another really important thing about the course is that tutors help with your resume and Linkedin profile after graduation.And last but not least… I’m so happy I met some fantastic people in my group.
