Professional Diploma in UX Design (structured)

Great course at a reasonable price, especially in comparison to others. I feel like I learned a good overview of the entire design process and walked away with an excellent case study. The mentoring is a great benefit of the course and I've felt very supported by my mentor, who I meet with weekly or bi-weekly. The career assistance helps with portfolio reviews after and gives a lot of assistance. As someone in the States, I would have appreciated a bit more guidance though on landing a job in competitive areas as I've been struggling to find a job post graduation. Some programs offer a tuition reimbursement if you can't land a UX job, and I would have liked to see that option given how difficult it can be to land your first UX role. Overall, 100% recommend.

After taking this course I felt that I had gained a lot of experience and knowledge. The modules had a vast amount of information that has broaden my horizon. I was very excited and thrilled learning from the UX Design Institute.

Great course, very well structured. Ability to learn at own pace and time. Very helpful and you will have access to friendly subject matter expert tutors and staff, they are always willing to help and support if needed. Slack channel with tutors and staff was great, not so much with fellow learners as communication with them was to a minimum. The live webinars (always recorded for viewing convenience) and workshops run by the UX Design Institute are top-notch! The mentor will provide live examples on how to design the UI of a product and also provide feedback on your work in progress UI design screens. Would definitely recommend this course for anyone considering getting into UI Visual Design in particular and also the other course they offer in UX Design. The courses are credit-rated, which is a plus and adds credibility to your CV and LinkedIn profile. To pass you will need to take an exam, don't worry, If you enjoyed learning about the topic and put in the effort you will be just fine. Knowledge is Power! Best of luck in your career.

Course structure is great, be ready to buy some books. I am not complaining as I really found them useful and a  must have. Content was great, it really gave me an understanding about UX. But the consent itself won't do it alone. You need to be curious and research in depth a bit more. You also need to put some work on it. 

This is a great course for anyone looking to learn about UX. The course is flexible giving you the option to complete it within 6 or 12 months. The course content is great you get taught the theory and then through the projects you get to implement what you have learned and get experience using the software and tools. There is alot of support so you never feel like you've been abandoned. The mentors are great and there is a whole community of UX designers through slack that are always happy to guide you.

This was my first formal education in UX and I really enjoyed it!There is a great mix of very interesting theory and practical projects to work on.The course is flexible and you can do it at your own pace or do it at the recommended structured timeline of 6 months and have you up to 12 months to finish the course.the project was great, it was engaging and challenging. I learned so many different skills from research to using figma and had great fun along the way!The mentors are really lovely too! There is also a Slack group for students which is really useful and lots of insightul info on there too.Thank you very muchAndrew

Took this course with a background as a product manager. Wanted to learn more about really understanding how we can create great products for the customers. The course gave me the toolset and practical skills to do this research myself but also allows me to recruit, with confidence, UX designers for my team. Great course and content. Took the self-paced course that took me 8 months. Suggested reading list is also a great introduction to this field. 

Prior to the course started I did not even know what UX was. After going through structured and professional video lessons with interesting and (for me) challenging projects I can now say I have a good understanding about how the UX process works. I would highly recommend this course for anybody who is interested in user experience 

The UX Design Institute UX design course is an absolute must for every aspiring UX designer. Even if you are an experienced UX designer, you can still learn a tremendous amount about the process in a way that is considered the industry standard by the most respectful companies in the tech industry. The six-month course takes you form starting level to advanced level with theory and an interesting project. You'll learn from how to explain the value of UX to stakeholders, management and colleagues until how to execute deliverables for the development team. This and many other topics are discussed during this amazing course. I might sound excited, but that's because I am. Thank you to the UX Design Institute team for developing such a professional and comprehensive course.

Good quality, micro lessons well prepared and usefull, easy to understand

This is an online course supported by the Caledonian University of Glasgow, with its roots in Dublin, Ireland. The main focus is User Experience, which has become an independent discipline of its own and the UX Design Institute stands for it as it is. With Colman Walsh and keen staff, UXDI strives for gaining results rather than acknowledgment as an education game-changer. With a tool such as Slack, students and facilitators can interact and chat with each other to share insights and ideas, even help each other to get tips and inspiration from person to person. On the other side, they rule different workshops across Europe, find more information at www.uxtraining.com In general, I loved the approach of the institute, and I highly recommend it. So don't hesitate to make a decision. 

I want to eat the whole world and this is thanks to the UX design Institute and its excellent support, its good distribution of content and its exquisite way of explaining each methodology. Today I not only understand what UX is about but I am more empathetic with people and I am more meticulous with details.

Would definitely recommend this course for anyone considering getting into UX Design or involved in a startup and needing to understand enough from a 'Product' perspective.

 I have learned the mindset, the confidence and the skills that make UX designers so valuable with a globally recognized, industry-approved qualification. The Professional Diploma in UX Design gave me a thorough understanding of the concepts and techniques today’s employers are looking for.
I have gained practical skills that can give businesses a competitive advantage by providing great experiences to their users through designs. I found the course to be extremely well and provided grateful information. I had never taken an online class before and I definitely learned a lot and understand the UX Design process to create good products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to end users.

The experience was sub par. I haven’t left a review for anything in my life, but I felt this was important for anyone looking to make a career pivot. I’ll start with the pros:- course is easy- affordable- graduated within 3 months- responsive in slack - Eoghan is probably the best mentor there Cons:- mentor ship isn’t really mentor ship, it’s more so people responding to questions on a forum. If you’re looking for that 1 on 1 quality development, continue searching for a different school. James is one of the mentors there and he is extremely rude and pretentious. - videos are outdated - grading process is archaic - the final exam doesn’t necessarily align well with what we learn in the course (I did pass however) My biggest takeaways in regards to skills from this course were: Usability Testing, Affinity Diagrams and Prototyping/Wireframing.You can learn this stuff on YouTube. All in all, you get what you pay for. It was about a $2000 course. I managed to finish in 3 months (January 2021). If you’re looking to get your feet wet I’d recommend anything in Udemy. The investment cost for a career pivot might be more rewarding in courses like Career Foundry or General Assembly.

Found the course to be very helpful if you are starting out in UX. The support provided by the team is next to none and you have access to a great UX community via Slack. Would like to have some textbook to accompany the course but overall videos were great. Would definitely use take another course with them again. 

Quite simply a great course. The video learning is so well done even a novice like myself can understand them. The team are always available for advice & support.
