I'll say the most important thing first – I got a job!! With that being said, Avocademy has been the best decision I have ever made in my educational and professional journey. I have a creative background in fashion design, but once I completed school and began working in that industry, I knew that it was not for me. I found out about this program on TikTok, and after researching other bootcamps, I chose this one. I completed both the foundations and career jumpstart programs. Career Jumpstart gave me the opportunity to work on real-world projects with real clients and design teams. Along with the projects, the actual mentorship and course-related modules are unmatched. The Avocademy team works very hard to stay up-to-date with the latest job market trends, and they are constantly using data to provide us with the best ways to land a job. I had no background in UX/UI design until I started this program, and I followed the course exactly – it worked for me. I now have a job in a field that I feel very confident and excited to be a part of, and it allows me to use my creativity. If you are looking to seriously make a career change in the UX field, I encourage you to join this program. Everything that was taught gave me the confidence to feel comfortable in my current role, and I can't wait to grow within this field. Avocademy changed my life!

As a fresh university graduate, I stumbled upon Avocademy through TikTok, and to be honest, I was initially skeptical about the promises they made. However, my curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to give it a shot. Fast forward to today, and I can confidently say that enrolling in Avocademy was the best decision I made for my career.
Entering the UX/UI design industry can be daunting, especially in an over-saturated market. But Avocademy's comprehensive program, coupled with my dedication and effort, made the journey enjoyable and rewarding. From the very beginning, I was impressed by their outstanding mentors and the supportive team members, all sharing a common goal - to help students succeed.
The feedback I received throughout the course was invaluable. Avocademy's emphasis on working on real projects truly sets them apart from their competitors. Their Career Jumpstart Program was a key selling point for me, as it provided me with practical experience that made my transition into the job market much smoother.

I’d love to speak on my journey.  My timeline of starting Avocademy in January of 2022, starting Career Jumpstarts in January 2023 to landing THE job July of 2023 is surely a much different (longer) experience than most lol… I had to learn on my own time while life was busy happening.  Even though I took more time than I planned originally, I never quit, and Avocademy never quit on me!!  So now I’m working in a career that values my unique background unlike any employer I’ve known.  This was the big break I had been dreaming of!As a neurodivergent artist being accustomed to Hollywood use and abuse…I don't know how I would have developed the business confidence or figured out how to get myself to 6 figs on my own. To Maca and the Mentors: Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your experiences, knowledge, and hand-holding me to the finish line!

I had an amazing experience with Avocademy. I really enjoyed how the course was structured, it was highly organized and it helped me to stay on track. The mentors were always responsive and helpful and I appreciate that Avocademy is always encouraging feedback and looking for ways to improve the learning/job-search experience. The Career Jump-Start program was totally worth it. Again, it was insightful, packed with information and resources and I landed a job within 2 months. 

Avocademy was easy to follow. They give you all the tools, unlimited mentorship, and a community to help you through this. Although some mentors lacked experience, many were helpful and knew what they were talking about. YOU are responsible for your success in the course, they give you the tools, and it's up to you to use them and set the time to study independently. The pricing is incredible, and they are overall very flexible and want to help you. I appreciated how supported I felt through all the different aspects of the course. Changing industries and starting a new career is scary, and that was important to me to be part of a community that understood me. I successfully got a job as a UX Designer, and I couldn't have done it without Avocademy.  

This bootcamp has been the best decision I have ever made. The Foundations course is great for learning all the basics and applying the concepts to your project. The Carrer Jumpstart is an excellent program where you get to work on real-life projects and learn to be a good team player as a designer. The best part is the academy's support - they set you up for success. Design and career mentorship are always available and they are all super nice! I found a great job within 3 months of applying and I have to credit this to the amazing mentors and the program curriculum. 

This was an amazing experience all around. Within 6 months I had an impressive portfolio, a vast understanding of UX design and leading projects, amazing friends, great mentorship, and a fantastic job. I am so grateful for CJ and how everyone rallied around me to put my best foot forward when transitioning into the UX industry. It truly was one of the best investments I made, and I can't wait to continue to grow within the field and give back to others that are in the same place I was. 

I have loved going through Avocademy's programs so far! It's hard work but I feel very supported by the staff and curriculum. For anyone motivated to change careers into UX/UI, I would recommend it! 

Career Jumpstart gave me all of the tools I needed to successfully find my first UX job. They give you real client projects that you can showcase in your portfolio. These project allowed me to get a better idea of what working with clients is like, managing deliverables and deadlines, and also gain the experience of leading your team! There are also so many resources available to help you succeed and mentors that are available to answer any questions you may have. I feel confident and excited to start my job and grow as a designer!

after not getting a job with months and months of applying, they just kind of abandon you. they're realistic that you will need to apply to a ton of jobs--which I have, over 2k--but im not getting any interviews or offers or anything. i've expressed my disappointment and frustration, especially since i now have to pay 8k i don't have with a job i was supposedly going to get with this boot camp. it feels incredibly shitty to not only not have a job after all this hard work, but also now owe a ton of money because of false promises. 

I had high hopes for this program but it hasnt worked out for me. They screwed me over with not getting me the job guarantee that they advertise. They told me I didn't start the job search within a certain time even though it was out of my control because the projects were being delayed. Basically, you have to do things within a certain amount of time. But what happened when the client delays, or the mentor delays to approve your work. My job search gets delayed which meant I wouldn't get a job guarantee. They scammed me out of my money and didn't really care to be honest. 

I highly recommend Avocademy as it has been an incredible learning experience for me. Not only did I acquire valuable new skills, but I also had the opportunity to connect and grow my professional network with amazing individuals who genuinely want to see you succeed. The affordable payment plans and the job guarantee provided by Avocademy make it an amazing opportunity that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking personal and professional development.

This course is truly exceptional in its comprehensive nature, extensive research validation, and continuous iteration. It has surpassed all other courses I have taken thus far. One of the standout features was the provision of 1:1 mentor calls with experienced designers who provided invaluable guidance whenever I encountered obstacles. They not only assisted me in overcoming challenges but also reviewed my resume and cover letters, optimizing my approach to job applications. Moreover, the course provided ample opportunities to collaborate with diverse clients, take on leadership roles within design teams, and facilitate my growth as a lead designer.

With a lot of experiences in life, you get out what you put in. Career Jumpstart offers a lot of the resources you'll need to build a solid portfolio and to launch your job search. They hold daily calls, you can book mentor sessions easily, and the peer community is full of amazing people. That said, the program doesn't hand hold. One has to take accountability and initiative to make the best use out of all the resources CJ has to offer. Changing careers is not easy but Career Jumpstart and the people there kept me afloat all the way to my first job offer 8 months into the program! One more great part of the experience, they do their research on what helps job seekers communicate their strengths/values best. They make tweaks to their curriculum that address the evolving job market as necessary. Last thought, the only red/yellow flag in my book is that they don't share the percentage of students who get UX jobs after [X] amount of months applying. 

I loved how the bootcamp continuously evolved to better help students in an ever changing job market. Maca and the mentors were super helpful and always free and willing to answer any and all questions.

I completed Career Jumpstart from November 2022- May 2023. During that time, I learned advanced design skills, worked with 3 real clients to add to my portfolio, and received support with resume, portfolio, interview, and job search skills. You should definitely be prepared to put in the work, but the mentors are all so invested in your success and will do anything to help you land a job. They are so supportive and help build your confidence when you're feeling down. I landed a job in 4.5 months and it wouldn't have been possible without all of the support I received from the mentors and community. 

I must say, this bootcamp has been an absolutely incredible experience for me. The UX Foundations course took me around four months to complete while juggling a full-time job. Career Jumpstart took two months to complete, which included working on real client projects and building my portfolio. It was an intense but immensely rewarding journey.After a month and a half of job hunting, I've been fortunate enough to secure an amazing job opportunity with a Fortune company. I truly believe that Avocademy is the best bootcamp out there. The hands-on experience of working with real clients was a standout feature in my interviews and it helped me stand out from the crowd. The team at Avocademy consistently provided invaluable job search tips, best practices, and they put in tremendous effort to ensure that we find great job opportunities.Moreover, this course equipped me with all the necessary tools to become a proficient UX designer. From learning the fundamentals to mastering the intricacies of the field, Avocademy provided an incredible amount of information. And the mentors are incredibly helpful in making sure that we are designing to industry standards. I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone interested in pursuing a career in UX design.By putting in the hard work and diligently following the course curriculum, I successfully transitioned into a fulfilling new career. This program was really amazing and allowed me to do a full career change in around 8 months. I loved that I got to work with real clients which is something I am not sure if other bootcamps do. I always felt supported and there is an amazing community of people in the program. They offer so much assistance and really want each student to succeed. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to get into UX Design.

I attended Career Jumpstart from Avocademy. One of the best decisions I've made; seriously. Unlimited mentor support, career guidance, interview prep, real client projects, affordable, the list goes on! I am so so SO grateful for the incredible experience that I've had. After 3 months I got an incredible job offer. I'm ecstatic and so so grateful. 

Unfortunately, have had zero interviews in 6 months of applying for jobs with a solid portfolio. I have followed their instructions to a T, added extra projects to my portfolio, applied to hundreds of jobs every month, and have had zero luck finding any job. I would recommend getting a post bac or a graduate degree over doing this bootcamp.
