Kim Wood is an extremely knowledgeable career coach and she helped me a ton when it came to my interview process. The instructors were extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. A few things to consider if you're thinking about enrolling at Fullstack... Start studying for your Security+ ASAP and be prepared to study outside of class hours. My two goals when starting this course were to have Sec+ completed and a job lined up for when I graduated. Both of those goals have been accomplished, I actually got my job offer 3 days before graduation! I know most everyone who reads these reviews wants to know whether or not they will get a job and I'm confident to say that if I can do it, anyone can do it. The only downside I can think of with this bootcamp would be that my cohort was over 70 students which made it a bit tough to get 1 on 1 time with the instructors and to have your personal questions answered. However, there are mentors in the cohorts in which they provide outside class office hours that you can attend to ask any questions if you can spare any time outside the course itself. Lastly, start focusing on LinkedIn and building connections. This is how I found out, applied and got my job so I cannot stress enough how important LinkedIn is. Also, NO I did NOT have prior tech/cybersecurity experience before this bootcamp either. I started from scratch!

They have very encouraging and motivated staff that are ready and available to help out when needed. This was a very intensive program(that is the whole point of a Bootcamp) where you must really be dedicated and willing to put in the time and effort to succeed. With so many lower cost options The Tech Academy can get quite expensive. That being said, there are so many lower cost options that you may dip your toe into the pool of software development but The Tech Academy is really a one-stop shop if you are really serious about being a full-fledged developer. Their curriculum is very extensive. It at times can get a bit repetitive with some of the content but also it is a way to really make the information sink-in. I had a great experience at The Tech Academy and would highly recommend to anyone who is serious about jumping into this field.

Besonders wertvoll war für mich, dass wir nicht nur verschiedene Tools kennengelernt haben, sondern vor allem gelernt haben, selbstständig neue Tools zu recherchieren und deren Ergebnisse kritisch zu bewerten. 1. The program is well structured and detailed.
2. Data Structures and algorithms section is really comprehensive, especially the foundation material, which helps to understand the concepts in each topic like trees, recursion etc.
3. I found mock interviews to be really helpful as they helped me to reduce my anxiety during actual interviews and the feedback given by each interviewer was very constructive
4. Support team is really great and they are always available in case of any need

1. Data Engineering section need more interview questions.

The curriculum was thoughtfully designed for beginners, starting with the basics of JavaScript and gradually building on each concept. This step-by-step approach made it easy to follow and understand, even without prior coding experience. The tutors at Boolean (I had Ezekiel and Carlo) are highly knowledgeable and always ready to help. The support provided throughout the course is amazing, any time I had a question or needed assistance, a quick direct message was all it took to get the help I needed. I also highly recommend taking advantage of the opportunity to go above and beyond the standard course. Most exercises have extension tasks designed to deepen and extend your skills, which I found incredibly valuable. By the end of the course, I felt confident in my ability to build full-stack applications, utilising both frontend and backend skills.
After completing the initial 6 months, you also receive 6 months of career support. This part of the course far exceeded my expectations. Ivana and Giorgio (my career coaches) provided fantastic support with tailoring my CV, updating my LinkedIn profile, and refining my portfolio. They also led weekly career workshops and 1:1 interview prep sessions to help me prepare for the interview process. In addition, Luca provided valuable tech interview prep and coding practice, which was incredibly helpful in building my confidence for technical interviews. I’ve always found all these subjects too dry and pestering. By chance, I received a DataCamp scholarship and decided to give data science a go. I started to learn R from DataCamp with zero previous knowledge about coding or programming. I was amazed and fascinated by the way DataCamp is able to simply it to the level of an absolute beginner and then provide a learning curve which I was able to grasp. The courses were fun and extremely well balanced. Every day I learnt something new and practiced it the next day with their practice sessions which are included in the subscription. This reinforced my knowledge and accelerated my learning speed. Before I knew it, I was reading code like I was reading a language like english or spanish. I was surprised by myself when I realised I had actually starting getting a hang of it. Kind of got addicted to learning more and more and now I’m fully hooked. Their career track on Data Analyst in R helped me tremendously in accelerating my medical research career and now i’m fully on track to become a certified data analyst.
