Completing the UI UX Design course with Course Careers has been a rewarding and transformative experience. Over the span of seven months, I not only built design skills but also gained a deeper sense of creative confidence and personal growth.The course is thoughtfully structured and brought to life by the energy and insight of Anthony Conboy. His passion for design shines through every module, making the learning experience feel personal and purposeful. One of the true highlights was how Anthony connected us to the wider design worlds, introducing influential voices through his podcast and sharing the people who inspired his journey, including legends like Dieter Rams. These moments helped me understand design as more than function, as a cultural and human practice.As someone with inattentive ADHD, I faced real challenges with staying focused during parts of the course. What helped me most was the supportive Discord community, especially the daily check in feature. It provided structure, accountability, and a safe space to share progress and seek feedback, a lifeline that helped me stay on track.The course encouraged self direction, and I embraced that by spending additional time learning Figma and designing a partially interactive app. This allowed me to run real user tests and apply the principles in a tangible, user focused way. The hands on nature of this project made my learning feel practical and authentic.While I found the UX research components,  such as data collection and chart building, less enjoyable, I understand their importance. These methods are essential to understanding user needs and making informed design decisions.Likewise, the final stage of the course, which focused on preparing for traditional employment, was not directly relevant to my freelance ambitions. I would love to see future versions of the course include an alternative track for learners building independent careers, allowing more flexibility while still honouring the learning outcomes.Would I recommend this course? Yes,  especially for those who are self motivated and ready to go beyond the curriculum. This course works best when you are willing to explore, experiment, and take ownership of your journey. Learn Figma early, build something real, and connect with the community. The rewards are worth the effort. Read less

I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in getting into IT. The course is easy to follow, affordable, very informative for what is required to get an entry level job. The course is made for someone who has no knowledge of IT terminology or experience. The labs are exceptional in the way they are presented. If your are interested in a career in IT, give this course a go. I discovered this course through a YouTube advertisement. I’ve been interested in entering the IT field for a long time but always believed that a traditional college degree was the only path. Now, with the course nearly complete and my final exam approaching, I’m thrilled with the experience. Josh’s genuine approach makes the material easy to follow, and I truly appreciate the clarity and structure of his instruction.In addition to covering fundamental concepts, the course includes resume and cover letter writing, as well as guidance on interview questions. I've always been a tech-savvy person when it comes to information regarding computers, but this course pushed me past my limited knowledge. This course not only gives the knowledge needed for Information Technology. They also help with resumes, commonly asked questions in interviews, and finding the job you are looking for. I was vey impressed with the level of training in the Human Resources course. It was very interesting and I fairly enjoyed it. However I was disappointed when I found out after I completed the course, that it is not a aPHR (Associate Professional Human Resources) certification. I am new to this field, so either I overlooked this when looking over their website or it was not mentioned in the details. Like I said, it was a good introduction for a newbie, however now I have to pay an additional cost to get an aPHR Certification, with the same curriculum. So, just be aware if you’re on a budget and would rather pay for Certification instead.  Read less

I have only completed the main curriculum of IT CourseCareer but generally when learning IT, the best advice is always the practical approach of knowing what to expect. Typical IT courses feels like training for a fight by doing jumping jacks everyday, and you’re not really sure if that regiment will help you win since all the people who won their first fight (got their first IT job) give the impression they got extremely lucky. If not that, then the connections the fighter has helped them win. I like this course because I understand the nuances of IT, and working hands on with the labs have given me a good awareness of how to apply what I know. The instructor did a great job of addressing questions a beginner would likely have at different phases of learning all the software, which comforted me to feel like I did not have to be a super expert in things like PowerShell. I have not yet completed the job application part of the course but regardless, I feel confident that I know what I need to know for an IT job.  Read less

This course was great, making me confident that my web development capabilities were solid. I think I may have taken two or three courses on reactJS and still couldn't do much of anything with the technology. This course changed that for sure. To top everything off, the fundamentals course introduced me to 'typing' which changed everything for me. From the fundamentals to the specialty courses, this program is unmatched by anything on the market today, this statement is made even more true when you compare the CourseCareers price to the price of other software development programs. The low price of the learning material is nothing compared to the reward of building your own applications. I'll definitely be back for even more specialty training. Read less
