I hesitate to call it a "bootcamp" as the curriculum and mentorship is presented in an almost academic-quality mannerThis program is a bit different from most. I hesitate to call it a "bootcamp" as the curriculum and mentorship is presented in an almost academic-quality manner. From the production and planning of the lessons, to the detail and depth you will get into, it begins to feel like a rigorous college program than a quick bootcamp.
This program is designed to cover design fundamentals as well as programming. If I had to guess, I would say that maybe 1/4th of the course is strictly design related, but it is woven into the rigorous programming lessons too at times. Having a decent eye for typography, space, and color can allow you to have more intelligent conversations with co-workers, or even just guide your process when creating your own work. Typography, for example, is one of those things that once you learn even a little bit of the basic ideas - you increase your value as a developer quite a lot. Myself and my cohort have several people who have taken those design principles quite far - and the stuff they've made is genuinely impressive - certainly beyond the portfolios of other people I've seen who have not been exposed to design principles.
This program is not light on programming either. As stated, my ballpark guess is that a large majority of the course is strictly programming related. The course is basically structured in a manner that tracks the history of web development over time. For example with CSS, you start by positioning elements with floats. You then use flexbox, and then grid. For scripting, you start by introducing basic php scripting and partials, then move onto more advanced PHP principles, then WordPress as a basis for understanding frameworks. Then you do some Javascript - and follow a similar pattern. Basic JS, then more advanced concepts, then a JS framework - and so on.
The course is quite detailed. It really benefits you to work hard every day until it's over. In my experience, students who do not continually apply themselves tend to not do well in the long term. The ones that stick around and actually work end up becoming pretty freaking great.
So is this program great? I would say so. Personally, I think it's one of the best decisions I've made - and I've went to college. I probably would have considered giving this a try before college if I knew what it would be like. Derek is great, the course is pretty fair in the sense that it increases in difficulty pretty straightforwardly. You never really feel totally lost for too long - but it has its fair share of challenges. I'm a harsh critic when it comes to a lot of things. I'm the type of person to rate an amazing movie or album an 8/10. I don't hand out high scores for things almost ever. I think this course - in terms of learning web development with some design to round you out - is a true 10/10 - and I genuinely mean that it is probably, pound for pound, the best web development program you could take if you want to get a great start in a career, or start your own development company, or what have you. I do think it is that good.
But that doesn't answer the actually important question - is this the right program for you in particular? That's a hard question to answer, because even a really good course and a truly great mentor can't prepare you for the realities of development. It is a hard field. I am currently employed after taking this course - and it's challenging. I've seen a couple cohorts where people seemed really passionate and some gave up, or slacked off, or whatever. I would say that this it depends on your temperament and personality. If you love development, if you love design, and if you love programming - then I think it's the best. But if you don't love those things and if you aren't ready to work really hard to not only pass the course, but land a job - then it is not for you. It takes genuine passion and dedication, and even being a developer now - I would be lying if I said there weren't times that I wanted to give up (and I really like programming!)
In theory, the best possible course would simply act as a mirror. Given a great curriculum and teacher - truthfully speaking, the only people who would have a hard time succeeding are people who aren't actually in love with the idea of being a developer, or something like that. I think this course is a mirror. I think given the price and scope of the material, Derek puts the ball in your court. You will, in a sense, have everything you need to succeed.

You will receive a top notch education in programming, computer science fundamentals, and preparation for whiteboard style interviewing. You will not be charged tuition and you will receive a stipend at the end of each month of your internship that is the equivalent of 35 hours a week at $15 an hour. Taxes will not be taken out of your check as your role is that of a contractor. Most of your class will have job offers before the cohort ends, but not all, often for reasons not under ADA's ( or the Adies' ) control. You will graduate ready to enter the job market as a junior developer. You will think that you should feel more skilled and experienced once you reach that point but you won't ( what you hope to feel like usually takes 5 years of experience and work to achieve ). You will have a strong network of graduates to lean on and the support of ADA during future job searches and dealing with the challenges that the tech industry brings.
Teaching will usually be spot on, but there will be missteps and errors along the way. You will be doing more independent study than you anticipate. Your instructors ( 2 per 24 students, 1 floating instructor, 1 Jumpstart instructor, a dedicated Computer Science Fundamentals instructor, and an outstanding student counselor ) are supportive, committed to the mission of ADA, and eager for you to succeed, but they are human. Things more very fast and you have to advocate for yourself and your classmates. Sometimes tutoring is available, sometimes not. If you start to fall behind you need to recognize it quickly and get assistance immediately. You may have to go outside of ADA to do that.
You will receive education and training about social justice, including the concerns and challenges of women of color and non-binary individuals. You will be personally be challenged. You will learn things you didn't know about yourself, and didn't necessarily want to know. You will learn that there is difference between ADA and the Adies alumnix. It was the alumnix who made the commitment to "no woman left behind". Students have been expelled from ADA. Not all of us got in on our first try. Some were admitted on their 5th try. There is some Redshirting. You will form some of the strongest friendships of your life, but you won't like everyone. Lateral aggression is minimal, bullying almost non-existent. ADA was worth it, the Adies especially so. But it is hard. The process hurts. It hurts alot. But it was worth it. Eyes open, keep your expectations in check, and it will be amazing. You will be amazing. Apply.

I enrolled in the Edureka Post Graduate Certificate Program in DevOps in collaboration with Purdue University in March of this year and successfully completed it in November. I must say, this is truly one of the best courses available for anyone who wants to learn DevOps with hands-on AWS experience.
The curriculum is incredibly well-structured and covers critical tools and concepts like:
• Docker containers
• Linux fundamentals and practical understanding
• Kubernetes with hands-on projects
• AWS Cloud through industrial-grade DevOps projects
The instructors sponsored by Purdue University were excellent, with deep industry experience. They teach from the basics to advanced levels, making it easy for learners from both engineering and science backgrounds to grasp the concepts.
One of the standout aspects of this program is its practical focus. The hands-on projects provided valuable real-world experience that prepares learners to excel in IT roles immediately after completing the course.
Additionally, Edureka’s support team deserves a special mention. Their 24/7 support ensured all queries, including assignments and certification-related questions, were promptly resolved. Their dedication to helping learners succeed is commendable.
Overall, I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to build a career in DevOps with strong foundational knowledge and hands-on skills in AWS and Kubernetes. Thank you, Edureka, Purdue University, and the entire support team for this wonderful learning experience!Code Nation

They really want you to get a job in whichever industry you choose! Another benefit of the smaller size of this school is they do well if you do well.
Full Review:
There are a couple programs out there that might help cover tuition if you qualify and the school offers reasonable financing options. I had spoken to one of their recruiters before signing up and was able to work out options best suited to my financial situation with their senior leadership. They have some information about their financing options on their website, but if the cost of tuition is the only hurdle you see then be open with them and talk it out. They absolutely want to help people who honestly wish to help themselves.
Skillspire is a small institution focused on getting people into the tech industry. Their size allows them to help you in the right capacity needed for your situation. They have more freedom to accommodate their students on a personal basis.
Are you a nervous test taker or stress over due dates? NO WORRIES HERE! You won't take a single exam and due dates are very flexible. The course was designed to be no stress/low pressure for the students. The grading structure is very relaxed as well. Turn in your assignment and get the points.
Concerned you won't be able to find the time to participate?
I live on the East Coast and they're based in Seattle, WA. That's a 3 hour time difference. Wednesday classes were late for my time zone but if I couldn't make it to class the instructor sent a link to the recording of the class. They're understanding and lenient on attendance.
You will not pass/fail based on attendance or grades. You are responsible for learning the material just like any other learning institution but they will pull all the stops to make sure you can learn what they're teaching. You get out of this course exactly what you put in. When I went through the course we didn't have our first official homework assignment until just before half way through the 20 weeks. Personally I recommend using an additional resource to practice what you learn between classes. I was brand new to all the material and I felt I needed it and the extra practice helped.
Worried you're computer skills are outdated?
For me, I was a fairly new to programming and didn't have a language I already knew. I had dabbled in C++ in the early 2000's and I liked it. I can't say I put much effort in staying current in tech since that time. When I was looking into this course I wasn't even familiar with Window OS's post Windows XP. I used computers at work that ran Windows 7 - 10 but I only used them for very basic tasks. Upon signing up for the course I had to get myself a proper laptop but I was definitely overdue. ; )
My point is, I barely had a hobby remotely related to tech before I took this course and I didn't struggle due to that. I had played around with some Linux distros on an ARM device (Raspberry Pi 3B+) I purchased on a whim a few years ago but it wasn't even operational when I committed myself to taking the course. I was absolutely a novice.
I just recently finished the course and I'm excited to see where I end up from here.- 3Reviews6CoursesCornerstone International Community College of Canada offers 24-month Web and Mobile App Development and Network & Systems Solutions bootcamps and a 12-m... Especially, my teacher, Ali(he is still teaching with the same passion like his first day) has two master degree from one of the high-end universities in Canada. He was just amazing because of small class size, he would spend his time for every student in order for us to understand the logic behind and every single details.
I could personally write so much good things about the program, long story short, it is just a brilliant program that everyone should have a chance to be part of this great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The pacing was clear (module timelines were defined), and the guidance/checklists made it easy to know exactly what to do next. The most valuable part for me was the project-based approach. Completing real projects that I can publish and keep in my GitHub portfolio is by far the best outcome—tangible, motivating, and directly useful for career growth.I completed about half of the program, mainly because I started during a very busy season at work (December) and didn’t consistently give it the time it deserved. That’s on me, not the bootcamp. The good news is that the curriculum gave me a solid roadmap, a lot of high-quality material to keep studying in depth, and several new ideas for my own projects/startup. It also reinforced that transitioning toward an AI Engineering profile is realistic and achievable. The only downside I ran into is platform support for WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux). I’m a long-time Windows user, but my development workflow relies heavily on WSL because it’s closer to a Linux/Mac environment. Not having WSL support meant I had to work strictly in Windows, which was limiting for me. Aside from that, everything was excellent.Who I’d recommend it to: anyone serious about moving into AI Engineering who wants structured, hands-on learning and portfolio-ready projects—just make sure you can commit consistent time and effort to get the most out of it.
