Dublin Coding School

I spent 8 weeks learning all about data analytics which is such an interesting topic, which I know now!!! I had no background in this, a complete beginner really had no clue So was definitely nervous starting off but after doing the first lesson the nervousness disappeared, you are made feel really comfortable right from the off. I left the first lesson feeling like this is something that I was going to embrace and enjoy, which I did!The course is very interactive and enjoyable, The lecturer made the content very understandable giving each of us time to get our heads around each platform and topic before moving on and taking time to answer any questions each of us had, you never felt that you were under any pressure. The bonuses of having a small class. Dublin coding school gives adults an opportunity to  make it possible for you to change careers and will really help you to do so. I've finished Cyber Security in Dublin Coding School not that long ago, I got internship in a small company to work with ensursing safety of data. I am still learning but the first step has been made and I really have to thank Luke for helping me with it! Attending this college has been an incredibly poor experience for me. I enrolled in the Data Analytics course and completed the first 2 modules without any issue (though assignment results are still pending). 

However, during the 3rd module (Python), I had a less than satisfactory lecturer. When this was highlighted to the college, the solution was to move me to another class (which was fine for me) but did not seem interested in the feedback that I offered. Moving me was a solution for me but is not a proper solution to handle the issue for the rest of the class (also disappointed with the lecturer) or for future students. 

Since the issue was not being addressed, I left a public review via the link below. Nothing in this review is untrue and nothing is slanderous. 

The college then asked that I remove the review in exchange for being placed on a Pyhton specific course. I confirmed that I did not wish to attend this course and would prefer to take the existing module I had with a different lecturer and that I am willing to edit my review if my experience changes. This did not satisfy the college. 

As I would not remove the review, the college have now suspended my account which is preventing me from attending class and from graduating. To me, this is blackmail and wholeheartedly unethical.

My experience with Dublin Coding School — now seemingly operating as K2 College — was extremely disappointing. While they were quick to answer the phone and take payment, that efficiency vanished once I was enrolled.The course I signed up for was delayed repeatedly — five or six failed start dates, with some cancellations happening less than an hour beforehand. After nearly two months of waiting, I requested a refund, as it was clear the course was not being delivered as advertised and the organisation behind it was unreliable.Getting my money back took another eight weeks, and only after I began pursuing legal action. My emails were mostly ignored, and not one of my calls was answered. The entire ordeal was a waste of time and caused significant stress.Now that the school appears to be rebranding under K2 College, I believe it’s important to share my experience to help others make informed decisions. A new name doesn’t erase poor management or unethical business practices. Read less
