I went into this bootcamp with the ambition to become a more confident and knowledgeable member of the tech workforce and strengthen my marketability in the modern-day job market. I completed the 6 month AI Engineering bootcamp with HyperionDev and overall had a good experience. I came into the program with some programming knowledge and these past 6 months have significantly helped expand my knowledge about AI, Python, and also front end. The biggest strength of the program is the mentoring and support. Whenever I had trouble understanding something or needed help with my tasks, the team was there to guide me. The feedback on my projects helped me see what I needed to improve and pushed me to make my work better. The bootcamp does require effort and time management but if you stay consistent and communicate when you need help, they are willing to assist you. I also appreciated that they try to support students who go through personal or scheduling challenges. I recently completed the Cyber Security bootcamp with HyperionDev and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The course structure was excellent and took me from my very basic level of Excel programming to being confident in working with Python and HTML. The course then progressed to Linux and databasing, before covering cyber security topics such as penetration testing, ciphers and code injection.I found the programme to be really well designed, with clear modules that introduce each topic followed by practical 'Capstone' projects which pulled everything together and really tested your understanding. This hands-on approach made a huge difference to my confidence and ability to apply what I learned.The mentorship support was another standout feature. Mentors were always available to jump on a call and talk through any topics I was unsure about. My experience with them was consistently positive—they were extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely invested in helping students succeed.Finally, the careers support team were outstanding. I took an online course at HyperionDev since they didn't have a campus near me😅. As a person who is used to traditional based educational environment, it's kind of a tricky transition if you haven't done self pace education. Which Hyperion helped a lot on my on boarding for the bootcamp from their student support team. I took a Software Engineering course, one thing I did preference on their feedback query is to implement more visual (video base) explaining on each topic, and they accommodated me with it (they should add more dept if I'm honest😅). The mentors are soo understanding and explain parts you don't understand to a tea and their student support is spot on😭 I can't tell you how much I'm grateful for how they were so accommodating ang helpful on my journey. They also do weekly live tech talks to inspire upcoming tech savy people and tech on what's the latest tech trends and how to break into the industry.
