Rough beginning. I linked to Nucamp with a misbehaving gmail account which was causing issues with some tasks in the course. Tech Admin helped me sort out the issue so I didn't fall behind in class. Course teaches with videos, slides, and code completing tasks/practice. There are people (students & instructors) in slack who can look at your work if you need help. Instructor was engaging with students to help & answer questions during the Saturday workshop and in slack throughout the week.Ultimately you will get out of the course the effort that you put in. It was worth it. The course served its' purpose. I learned enough of the fundamentals to move onto front-end/full-stack.

The Web Development Fundamentals course offered everything and more to help get me started in the coding field. I would 100% recommend this class to anyone interested in coding, especially if you cannot take a lot of time away from work. - Austin Hanson

I have been trying to leave construction work before it kills my body. I had dabbled in learning code, but once I had the structure of a class, learning came so much easier.

I had dabbled in coding a few years ago in C# but did not like the backend. I was at a crossroads in life where I was desperate to do something different, and find something that I truly enjoyed doing. I ended up giving the bootcamp a chance because I read somewhere that the front-end and the back-end would net completely different experiences, and it did. Doing Javascript, HTML, and CSS allows me to take advantage of my artisic and creative side and I greatly enjoyed it. My instructor Kevin was amazing and helped us every step of the way through our journey. I believe that it was definitely the right decision to enroll because I learned that I do enjoy coding and I will continue into the front-end bootcamp next. For the price you pay and how much you truly learn, you can't beat Nucamp coding bootcamp.

"A month ago I decided to enroll Nucamp HTML,CSS and JavaScript Fundamentals program. Today, I am very satisfy with the knowledge and skills I learn to continue my goal of becoming a Web Developer. I recommend this boot camp to anyone".

My choice for joining Nucamp was due to the fact I was interested in the basics of coding. I wanted to get familiar with HTML5, CSS3, and I wanted to learn more about JavaScript, and how it works. I looked at other boot camps, and I decided to give Nucamp a try.I looked over the website trying to find was it a good fit for me. Honestly, the price and curriculum were right compared to other boot camps.I had my doubts honestly speaking, but I Signed up jumped all in. I followed the directions. I asked questions. It was like an adventure before you know it trying to get things done, watching videos, reading, coding interacting with classmates.I started to see things take shape, and before you know it the videos, I had watched others do on YouTube I was now doing it in the comfort of my own home.I have come a long way in coding.I am better at researching now and executing code. I have a better understanding of reading errors, and all the tools I need to code.I have been given the opportunity to learn and I was able to afford the class.I would highly recommend anyone who wants to learn how to code to give Nucamp a try.

I'm a professional tinkerer and have been learning some coding here and there. Always looking for the free or under $20 type courses. Been toying with the idea of enrolling in a coding bootcamp but that can easily put you 10-20k in debt before you get a job. I've read some income sharing agreements and those things can be scary. Now here comes Nucamp a single ad on Instagram that changed everything for me. I started looking into it and there more I searched the better it kept getting. Finally the only thing left to do was get started. My experience has been great. Great instructors, very helpful community. Content was explained really well and the weekly projects keep that pressure on so that you keep pushing yourself. If you're like me and still looking at reviews, they are true and it is a great experience.

It was the best decision for me enroll into Nucamp. It was affordable and the instructor answered our questions on time and in order. I liked working on projects with other people in the group. It was very nice learning new things and immediately applying them.

I learned a lot this past month! Great way to get started in coding and learn the fundamentals. If you're interested in learning to code, but don't want to fully commit until you know coding is right for you, Nucamp's 4 week HTML, CSS & Javascript introductory bootcamp is a great first step to take in your coding journey.

I was very hesitant to start a Bootcamp, particularly with a company I've never really heard of before. However, I am EXTREMELY satisfied I went with Nucamp. The course is very well laid out, the instructor is very knowledgeable and calm, which I believe are skills needed in a fundamentals course.Upon starting, I knew the layout of the course would be easy to follow, as in I wouldn't get lost navigating the site. The dashboard is clearly laid out where you are, versus where you're going, and having a task list for each week and checking them off felt very refreshing. The content is quick, which gets you to coding that much faster. As in, you start coding within the first few videos. Again, very refreshing to put your hands right in and show what you just learned.Coming from very basic knowledge of syntax and coding in general, to go from where I started, to where I am now, it is night and day. The retention I have is absurd. I would recommend Nucamp to anyone, either complete beginner (like me) to a junior developer.

I am a career changer who has always had a interest in a tech career. What led me to enroll in Nucamp after doing extensive research was the affordability and flexibility of the bootcamp. I am employed fulltime and have a young family. So time, flexibility, and affordability were important for me. The instructors are very helpful and so is the online community. If you get stuck someone is always there to assist.

Excellent Experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested or just getting into coding. Overall wonderful learning environment and accountability for those, like me, that tend to start and then fall off later. Highly enjoyed and already enrolled in the Full Stack Bootcamp for the next part of my journey.

I enrolled in the Nucamp 4 week funamentals program, and it was a great idea. They got me closer to current on a lot of skills I had not used in a long time. Instructors were supportive and talented.

Being absolutely new to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Nucamp provided me with a valuable foundation of knowledge. I highly recommend the beginner course if you have no prior experience with web development. The HTML and CSS portions were quite fun. Prepare to work, read, and spend considerable effort learning JavaScript. This portion of the course will test your tech-savvy might. Overall I am quite pleased with Nucamp and my decision to enroll.

I enrolled into nucamp because I wanted a new career path. I took the intro course and learned significantly. I think its a good choice for anyone who is interested in learning code. It teaches the basics and gets your feet wet to later lead into other courses or languages.

Enrolling in Nucamp's Bootcamp is exactly what I needed to do to add to my skill set as a teacher. The Web Fundamentals course taught so much on coding that I have never learned before. I did have a learning curve but I welcomed the challenge as I have always been a problem solver. I took this course because I want to share my coding skills with my high school physics students. I hope that in learning how to code, I would be able to integrate it into my high school physics classroom. I would like my own students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the classroom through coding in Physics.

I enrolled in Nucamp to get an refresher on html, css, and javascript. I came into the course knowing quite a bit about html, and css. With very limited experience to Javascript. So far It has been a decent refresher on the first two. If I had come into Nucamp not knowing anything about html, css, or javascript I would be completely overwhelmed and still unsure how to use any of it.

I decided to enroll in the Nucamp Web Fundamentals course for several reasons. First of all, it is the most affordable yet high quality boot camp I could find. Secondly it offered the most flexibility in terms of allowing me to study on my own time during the week. I work a lot of late hours and many other coding boot camps require attending live classes in the evenings and that would not work for me. I ended up doing my studying in the morning prior to work and then attended the Saturday morning workshops with time to finish up weekly assignments on Sunday. That ended up working out pretty well.Thirdly, since Nucamp is set up as a part-time boot camp it did not interfere with my fulltime job and family obligations. It would not have been feasible or a good idea in my case to attend a fulltime boot camp. Also the part-time nature of it allows a student to absorb the material a little more slowly with more practice. I imagine retention of the material is improved that way.Fourthly, Nucamp has a program helping graduates to be prepared for a successful job search once they complete the program. This is critically important due to the fact that breaking in and landing that first development job can be challenging when you have no real world experience. Being properly prepared to interview and demonstrate your skills to employers is something that deserves its own course in addition to getting some one on one guidance. Nucamp has all of that. To be clear though, I have yet to go through that course since that is available after completing the Full Stack or Front-end courses.Overall, I was quite satisfied with my Nucamp experience and would certainly recommend it to others. This review was based on my experience in taking the 4 week Web Fundamentals course and I plan to continue on to the Nucamp Full Stack course starting next month.
