I chose Nucamp for a few reasons. The reviews were quite positive, the location of the classes made it very convenient and the tuition was reasonable. I felt like I learned a great deal in the class but still feel kind of lost as there are SO many concepts being introduced in a short period of time. The HTML, CSS, JavaScript course was a good way to get your feet wet in coding and the instructor Justin was very helpful.

This was my first boot camp and I really liked it considering the fees charged for the course, it is really good for a person beginning to learn to code. It definitely helps a person understanding if this is the right career for them. It gives a good start to a beginner and will give you fundamentals to become a web developer.

WASTE OF TIME & MONEY. Cheap video from an instructor in Hong Kong.Instructors rush through information.Instructors talk fast and are so unorganized.UDEMY courses are way better and a fraction of the cost.

Sorry about your experience

I chose NuCamp because of the location, cost, and the physical class times being on the weekend since I work 40 hours during the week. Them being able to take money out monthly is the only way I could afford to do something like this right now.

I chose Nucamp because its a good hybrid between in-person bootcamps and being self-taught. Having the weekly structure gives you accountability and encourages you to stay at a productive pace. The instructor was phenomenal and having other people in the course enables you to work together; so you are never alone no matter what skill level you are. This bootcamp definitely doesn't spoon feed you (a very good thing!) and it will definitely challenge you so you have to come in with the willingness to learn, struggle, and grow. Its a great program, but you also can't expect them to tell you EVERYTHING. There's a lot to learn so having additional supplemental material from other sources will boost your learning experience even more!

I chose NuCamp because of the flexibility of the schedule. The ability to be a hybrid greatly helps. The additional/further resources combined with the online open resources makes this course very feasible for someone coming in with no prior coding experience.

I chose Nucamp because of it's price, the success rate of prior students, and the convenience of the classes being on the weekend. This class has allowed me to continue working full time and learn in my free time. I have been satisfied with the Html, CSS and Javascript class. I will definitely be moving forward with them for the Full-Stack program.

As a beginner, this course of HTML CSS and Js was a good start to gain confidence and a lot of knowledge.
I'll take the Fullstack next week and I'm pretty excited.

NuCamp is great for the working professional trying to transition careers. Much like every other self guided class, this is very much "you get out of it what you put into it" and some students fail to see that. If you're going into this thinking that you will learn everything from the workshops, you're not going to do well.
Take the time during the week to study and ask questions on the message boards! The weekly classes on Saturdays is where all of the "light-blub" moments will happen. Alira is an awesome instructor!

great learning activities. video lectures were clear and concise and followed a logical progression. Instructors availed themselves on Slack to interact and answer questions/give help.

I think this was a helpful intro course to web development. It covers HTML/CSS, and Javascript for beginners. It's affordable and flexible with a full time job for my situation and this was a good choice for me. The learning environment is great and instructor was very helpful.

I started Nucamp in hopes of pursuing a new career, and they've definitely catapulted me in the right direction. The small class setting and efforts to give you support through out the week when your working on your own was a great help. Even just seeing other students questions answered a lot of mine. 10/10 would nucamp again.
