So far the materials covered have been great, but I do with they had spent more time diving deeper into the more complex topics like OOP and algorithms.

I am 5 weeks into the BackEnd, SQL, and DevOps with Python Bootcamp and so far so great. It moves fast and the format for learning content is flexible in terms of your day to day activities. The Saturday workshops are a great time to ask for clarification on topics you learn throughout the week, and the instructor I had was very helpful the entire way through. You meet a lot of different types of people coming from different walks of life so if you don't come from a tech background like me you won't be alone. If the price tag isn't convincing enough, hopefully this review helps. Give them a shot - I'm so glad I did.

I think that nucamp backend python is great for beginners to learn python.

I wanted to get hands-on experience in Python while learning and revisiting Data Structures in Python. The course content and hands-on experience with workshops and hands-on assignments has been really good for my learning experience.

I just became a permanent resident of this wonderful country - the USA. I want to be a worthy citizen and to have a good interesting job that improves of life of other people in this amazing country. I didn't have the opportunity to get paid quality education....so I chose this Boot camp - NuCamp. I am very pleased with the educational process and the atmosphere that reigns on Boot Camp! Thanks to all --> those who made this process possible!

The attainability of the price point and a strong desire to learn Python led me here. I believe that it is a decent fit so far. I guess I was thinking a bit too much of what I'd be able to take away and apply towards expanding my IT marketability. However, I am clear-eyed now and still appreciate the opportunity this program has afforded me to learn something that I've put off for years.

I was exploring on which on-line courses to take and found nucamp, enrolled and very happy to have done so. Learned a lot and added to my experience.

Nucamp has a flexible schedule other then Saturday workshops you can study anytime during the week which works with my rotating shifts.

I chose Nucamp over other programs for two primary reasons. Primarily it was the availability of a "Backend/Devops" program, secondly it was the cost. The combination of those two factors made it an easy decision for me. Seems like a lot of bootcamps focus on Frontend or sometimes Fullstack. My interests lay elsewhere. The content has been great and I feel prepared to push my knowledge further and get into the field.

Though it was hard to follow sometimes as I started from scratch, the amount of work and group work helped tons. I did struggle, but at no point of time did I feel like I couldn't figure it out. Having no coding experience before hand I was apprehensive about doing this boot camp, but I was able to hold my own. I feel like the pace, self-work, and group-work was the perfect balance. Our mentor/teacher was great, and I would not change anything about how I was taught.

As someone who has both a learning disability and struggles with ADHD, this was the first time I successfully finished a course. I genuinely believe that if someone like me can learn anyone can learn. I never thought I'd ever be able to learn how to code because I struggled for years trying to stay motivated. Albeit, I am still working my way through the Back End, SQL, and DevOps program, the feeling of overcoming the fundamental hump feels good. NuCamp's structured classes, supportive community, and instructors helped motivate me to stay on track with the course and not give up. Lessons are broken down into chunks so it's easier to understand and digest. If you run into issues, classmates and instructors will jump in to assist and provide guidance. I specifically picked this program because it was budget friendly and it offered the structure that I needed to be successful. Something people have to realize when they sign up for coding bootcamps in general is there are no shortcuts or magic bullet for learning. You have to have realistic expectations going in so you don't set yourself up for failure. You learn through practice and having a supportive community helps. Ultimately, your success lies heavily on your own efforts and motivation. When taking the course there is an expectation that majority of your time will be self-study and lots of practice using multiple resources both in-house and out. I truly believe this NuCamp's bootcamp gave me a boost of confidence that I needed to work towards my career goals and projects. I am ecstatic about working on personal projects and can't wait to learn more. I highly recommend this program to those who want to learn coding, but lack the confidence or support.

I had very brief Python exposure in my Computer Science program, our language was Java, but also, this was 7 years ago and I've since grown rusty in programming altogether. I worked for a big multinational tech firm in the last 7 years, but for projects where I felt I needed to improve my programming skills to 'get ahead'. I want to become a 'programming-based tester' if I go back into Testing (Python Selenium), or alternatively build up to Python dev freelance work, or (Data Sci work) Dashboard Developer. Every direction I'd want to go involves Python, even animation projects in Maya for fun. NuCamp, *far* exceeded my expectations for my goals. The cadence of once a week workshops, well-designed work assignments, and encouraging instruction on my day off, really gave me the push and guidance to learn *a LOT* in a short amount of time, but never felt "stuck" for too long. So it was a wonderful experience of legitimate up-skilling. I'm now very comfortable with coding in Python, after a quite intense 5 weeks, and will definitely continue the momentum upwards provided by NuCamp. Thank you!!!

What led me to enroll in NuCamp was the opportunity to reskill myself and get a job that I desired. I believe this was a good decision since Nucamp is giving me an environment to push myself in and has taught me fundamentals that I would otherwise have overlooked in my self-learning.
