My name is Dipendra KC. I came to United States in 2019. Since then, I was looking for IT certificate from long time but could not fix what course to take and when to take. Then one day, I saw an advertisement of Nucamp in google search. I had several options from where I select Nucamp. I don't feel any regret taking this course because after taking Python bootcamp for almost a month, I feel confident in Python. I was not sure how it would be and how they will teach. But after joining the Nucamp Bootcamp, it clear my every doubt. The course design of Nucamp; every week, new topics, sufficient exercise, quiz and code challenge makes more interesting and effective. Our Python tutor Ryan seems to have sufficient knowledge in Python. He is very helpful, not only during the week days but also during holidays, easy to teach and we could get feedback instantly. In addition to this, I like the way class get divided into small group so that we can interact with each other, teach and learn. I found every fellow friend to be friendly and helpful. After the completion of this course, I am planning to take Web Development Fundamental.

As a tech recruiter, I frequently came across candidates who had completed the Nucamp course. This piqued my interest and ultimately led me to enroll in the program myself. I am thrilled with my decision to do so - the course was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. My instructor was exceptional, providing guidance and support whenever I needed it. Overall, I highly recommend the Nucamp course to anyone looking to enhance their tech skills and boost their career prospects.

I enrolled when I found the opportunity to pursue the passion I had when I first went to college. Computer programming has always been the field I was interested in and Nucamp offers a way that I can finally reach that goal that is afforadable and fits my schedule. I'm excited to finally be working toward a career and not working in dead job after dead end job.

After about 2 years of self teaching and getting stuck in the same circle of learning something new - getting stuck - moving on to something else. I finally had enough. Feeling secluted since I'm in a small town, not having a community or a mentor I had to find one. Nucamp was amazingly affordable and with the flexibility of the work in the week I was able to keep my job and learn. Only being a month into this I already have passed where I was at self learning. Every question I have had been answered and broken down to where I'm actually understanding. In the end this class so far has taken me mentally from a place of "There's no way I'll learn this, I'm not smart enough" to "I built my first project, look what I can do"

NuCamp is great! Having a dedicated instructor far surpasses learning on your own. The information is thourough, and I feel that I have learned more with NuCamp in a small amount of time, than I could of on my own. Highly recommended. So far I have been learning backend programming, and I look forward to learning more!

My sister is a coder for a major bank, and has been working for them since she graduated college. Given that she had no experience with coding, the company provided a bootcamp for her to learn the basics which really helped her excel in her career there. I've been inspired by her story, and decided to give it a try. I am proud to say I am understanding more than I thought I would, and I believe that I'll only get better with more practice.

i enrolled because i wanted to learn something new, especially with it being computer related. I struggle learning through bootcamps because its not in person, but im doing my best and actually enjoy it alittle bit.after bootcamp, i would like to continue through college and learn more web coding, networking and other computer related programs.

I've tried other boot camps and Nucamp is by far the best. I like that the instructors are currently working in the field they teach. The end-of-week assignments can be challenging, especially if you tackle the bonus tasks, which is great for learning!

I enrolled in Backend bootcamp to hopefully change my career. It is the right decision in some way. I would like to achieve to get a new job as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst but this would take me to supplement my learning specifically in Data.

This is an amazing course with great instruction and insight into Python. It provides a great introduction to the basics of Python, and I really appreciate how effective and thorough the instruction was. All of my classmates were super helpful and ready to dive into the workshops we have every saturday. Looking forward to learning more from NuCamp!

that course is a fake, there is nothing which is worth of the money, they have a good review because of rewards that they are giving, nothing which I can recommend. - website is more less equvalent to public wiki or w3c org - tutors are not qualified- slack chanells are more less for wasting time -the content is not good -there is no training is more less train your self

Based on the first five-week course, Python Fundamentals, I want to share my experience with the Nucamp Back End, SQL, and DevOps with Python Bootcamp. I like Nucamp because the founder, Ludo, is transparent about the program. In his love weekly YouTube show, Campfire, he mentioned that students would have to supplement using this program. He says there are better and free curriculums, but the main reason for choosing Nucamp is the weekend 4-hour live workshop. He talks about how people rarely finish these programs. I've started a few and haven't finished, so I relate. So, going into the program, I knew it wouldn't have the best curriculum. So, why choose Nucamp? I chose Nucamp because it's affordable. When I signed up, it was five payments of $385 with the early bird discount. Also, the workshop provides the accountability I need. Since I will meet with my cohort on the weekend, I will complete everything on time, so I won't be behind. The first couple of weeks were not smooth sailing. As I got used to the assignments, I learned that I needed to be able to write what my code was doing in paragraph form. Explaining it in words helped me learn all of the proper terminologies for Python. The weekend workshop assignment always explained what to do using Python terminology, so I would waste lots of time figuring out what I was being asked to do. That struggle helped me see that I wasn't learning the concepts. So, I started adding comments to the exercises in my code files, explaining definitions of things and why I'm doing what I'm doing. As I mentioned, Nucamp lessons will ask you to seek outside sources to learn each lesson. Some resources I use are Code With Mosh, Python for Everybody, and Udacity's free Intro to Python course. Nucamp asks for feedback on the teacher and the curriculum every week. Feedback is shared with the teacher, and it's supposed to be anonymous. My teacher adjusted his approach to the class after receiving feedback. He ensured we knew he wanted us to ask questions if we needed to. My overall impression of Nucamp is that it is responsive to feedback. They update their curriculum more often than some of the other boot camps I considered. And, since it's affordable, if I decide I don't want to work with Python or SQL in the future, I won't feel like I wasted money by trying it.To recap, I chose Nucamp because it is affordable, offers live help in the weekend workshops or help by chat on Slack, and offers structured learning and accountability.Since outstanding curricula are available online for free, you don't need a boot camp to learn code. I chose this route for support and accountability, but many choose to learn independently.

This review was required as part of the curriculum. This bootcamp is affordable and flexible. It was the right choice for me as I have a Full time job and cannot attend an in person bootcamp five days a week. Do not expect to learn everything from the bootcamp. My recommendation for anyone who is applying is to utilize outside resources beforehand. Classes move fast and you need to be able to keep up. I took a few udemy classes before this and got a few books on python which really helped. I'm not sure I would have made it otherwise. For the price this bootcamp is well worth the money.

I enrolled in Nucamp because I was looking for an affordable part time back-end bootcamp. It's perfect for someone who is still working at a full-time job. I really enjoy so far following the course. The content is good and the workshop (zoom call with other class students) at the end of the week makes a difference. Since it is part time, we have to spend a lof of time on our own researching. The content alone is not enough and we do need to learn from other sources. The support from the instructor is ok, they are available two times a week or more for the final week. The instructors are knowledgeable. It would be even better to have more time with them, either individually or with the class, but that's probably because it's part time only. After 5 weeks of learning, I definitely acquired a lof of knowledge I didn't have before, however it will take way more than that to be able to build something concrete. But the life of a programmer is all about practicing, learning and searching every day. I'm looking forward to that.

For the first week with Python everything was clear an amazing to tackle.

The intro to Python course, which is one third of the backend bootcamp, was very inclusive; got a lot of great insight to move forward with the language in the future. Our instrucdtor was great, providing a general direction for future studies that far exceeded the course material alone. I am used to C based languages, but was a decade out of practice and had no experience with Python; so my expectations were a bit low. After the 5 weeks, I am now feeling very confident with the language, and though I still need a quite bit of work, I was able to integrate a great deal more than I thoguht was possible in the short amount of time. Especially surprising was the instructors ability to get us up on OOP practices and common coding conventions. These camps are largely what you put into them, but NuCamp offers a great deal for a very reasonable price!

I heard that this was one of the best bootcamps in my area which was mention by Career Karma and others. It wasn't just the price, it was the instructors as well as the curriculum! And it was true, every word. They made themselves free and open to help at any time, I was helped as late as 1am. . Great boot camp you will not regret it.
Graduate 2022
I work full time in a non related field. This bootcamp offers the time flexibility but provides structure I need to get assignments done. It's not easy , but it's worth it to learn a new skill. I also like how I still have access to the course lessons as i continue to try to learn on my own.

I'm looking for a career change. After considering several options I chose Nucamp because it seemed to be the most complete. After finishing the first Bootcamp backend module, I can say it was worth it.
