Great course with many hand on learning opportunities. Has different modules that you can dive into based on interest. Learned a lot, and would recommend. The hands on capstone project gave me great exposure to deep learning models and apply these lessons to my career. 

It was a wonderful experience. They teach a lot of knowledge and techniques in a range of time that feels impossible to learn, but the teaching methods and the way they are scheduled incredibly reach a very good understanding of all subjects. I got new skills that helps me to improve my software solutions without a peace of doubt.

I just finished the applied data science program and its one of the best programs I have ever done.The syllabus was up to date, the teachers amazing and the mentors incredible. the whole team worked to answer all the questions I had and to prepare me for real life tasks.  You wont believe the doors this has opened up for me in my career.Its a tough program to complete and it will challenge you, but its well worth the effort.Higly recommend it!

I have completed the MIT Great Learning "Applied Data Science" degree program. This was an accelerated program that taught concepts and hands-on learning for multiple topics required. These ranged from Statistics, Probability, Supervised & Unsupervised Machine Learning, as well as Neural Networks. We used actual datasets and python coding to complete all of the various course exercises. The lectures and mentoring sessions were led by MIT instructors and the program was managed and supported by Great Learning. Together they made a great team to guide and support us throughout the journey. The Program Manager in particular assigned  to our cohort was also extremely helpful and responsive for any questions or needs. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to get into the data science profession or advance their career. It is valuable for anyone.

I finished Applied Data Science course with MIT and Great Learning. It really was a great learning Experience! The journey wasn’t easy as I needed to juggle my full time job and the course. However the course is well designed and teaches you the concepts and how to apply them step by step, in addition, the Great learning team gave me all the support I needed. The content is challenging, comprehensive and deep but in the end it was a very satisfying journey. 

Before I registered to Applied Data Science Program with MIT I read bunch of recommendations all over. Actually, this is what's makes me feel comfortable and high expectations  of the course.I'm sr. business analyst and I registered to level up myself and give more to the company I'm working for. I got all the knowledge I expected with the full support. I know that there is bunch of online courses, the online one with available mentor and full support was the best for me. I finished Applied Data Science and Machine Learning with MIT and Great Learning. The Experience was amazing! The content of the course is excellent! Comprehensive and challenging. The idea is to learn, so they take you step by step with what you need to know and understand. There is a combination of Lecturers from MIT and Great Learning, both outstanding, the lectures are from one of the top schools, and they answer all your questions. There is also a team to support you outside of the lectures, and I never had to wait more than an hour or less for an answer. The Program Manager plays a big part in this as this requires a lot of support, communication and guidance. Spot on! Very well-organised dynamic for learning! Thank you!

Nitish and Shikha were monumental in my success in this program as program managers. When I felt overwhelmed with the density and complexity of the coursework, they were quick to reach out and help devise a plan for me to get back on track. Not only is this one of the hardest boot camps I’ve done, but it’s the most hands-on, most supported, had great integration of community, and I’m walking away from this experience with 0 prior knowledge to confidently walking into meetings discussing concepts in class. Plus, the UI of the Great Learning website is fantastic. 

I applied to this course in December, it started in March with 2 months of opportunity to do some pre-work, so It's basically starting in January. It involves a mix of videos, zoom calls, web tests, and python notebooks for some exercises. One of the nicest things about it is the mentored learning sessions involve experts in the field and it feels very privileged to receive their instructions and ask questions. It is at a fast pace but generally flexible. It covers a wide variety of topics and narrow in your focus as you go which I think is a good way to do it. I also found the instructors and managers to be very nice and have no complaints really.

The Applied Data Science program, with MIT and Great Learning, was a truly fantastic experience. Beautifully organized, a width and breadth of material in statistics, with a good grounding education in Python - having had no experience in coding/programming, I walk away comfortable in it like I could not have imagined. The faculty and their lectures were superb and thorough. Rishi Shankar, my program manager, was a jewel. Always responsive and considerate, very thorough, and a pleasure to interact with. I cannot recommend this program enough. With my background, this was like a revelation and helped me think about analytics in a way that will forever be a new foundation!

I was very uncertain at first whether to take this course or not because I don't have a math or coding background... but I am so proud that I did!! It has been challenging, but the professors are excellent and the mentors are just wonderful... they are always there to help and support.. really makes a difference. The content on the dashboard is very helpful and useful. I am hopeful to slowly transition into the data science field, and this definitely gives me a boost! Highly recommend!

This program was very challenging for me, but with the support of the dedicated Program Manager (Thank you, Rishi!!!), I was able to overcome it, even though I was completely new to the world of Anaconda, Jupiter, Python, strings, correlations, and so on. With the new knowledge gained, I hope to be better prepared for the future, where understanding and handling data is becoming increasingly important. In today's world, we are confronted with the challenge of having too many opportunities and struggling to make decisions. By understanding the available data, I believe it will support me in making informed decisions in the future.

12 weeks of engaging learning, that requires commitment, dedication, and professional interest in working with Data and AI.Covered Concepts

The course started by covering the required fundamentals such as Basic Python Programming and using Python in Data Science with libraries such as Numpy and Pandas.
Then we covered Statistical and Probabilistic Data Exploration and Analysis concepts and best practices.
We gradually started discussing Data Curation and Cleansing strategies as well as Feature Extraction (basic Feature Engineering as well)
We then started applying the previously covered knowledge in practical Machine Learning Models

Through the end, we covered heavy AI-oriented courses such as Deep Learning, Neural Networks, and Computer Vision

The final course was also about Generative AI and ChatGPT breakdown.

Pace

The amount of work needed will gradually increase, but considerate deadlines and faculty members' support will help guide you through it.
Almost all the projects and deliverables are designed to accommodate people based on their interests and learning goals. People who rather work closely with code and programming, as well as people who rather focus on business insights and less coding are both considered and welcomed to participate.

OverallI sincerely and honestly am grateful for the time I spent on this program and I cannot recommend it enough.Thanks to all the patient faculty members of MIT as well as Great Learning for providing us with such an amazing opportunity.

The Applied Data Science course is 12 weeks of intense learning. Get the conceptual framework from MIT faculty and then learn how to implement the concepts using Python coding projects. I feel like I dove in the deep end and came out swimming like an olympic athlete.  Certainly a great place to begin a career change into the exciting world of data science. The mentors and Great Learning team help give you solve real world problems and business needs. This course is practical, challenging, and very interesting, whatever your preferred field. Highly recommend. 

Definitely I have experienced my best learning experience in Great Learning mainly due to the excellent care and support of your my Program Manager, the industry experts mentors and MIT faculty . All this integral approach and the detailed program design have made my learning effective and personalized.

It was an amazing experience with great learning while I was enrolled and continuing my study of MIT Applied Data Science Program 2023. I had similar experience with other learning platform but great learning was just outstanding. Everything was well organized and  scheduled on time. MIT ADSP 2023 curriculum was excellent, MIT professors and menors were just perfect. Great learning management and support team were promt and super responsive. As a seasoned IT professional I would strongly recommend this program for anybody who is interested about data science/AI/ML/DL. Study materials were super clear and high quality, projects , case studies were super helpful to get the real hands on experience with Data science tools. The program manager was also extremely helpful in coordinating schedule changes and assignment submissions to ensure a positive course experience and ultimate success.Overall, I highly recommend this data science bootcamp program to anyone looking to expand their skills and knowledge in this field. Additionally, if advanced and continuous course options become available, I would definitely consider taking them to further enhance my skills.
