I joined the certification program after I realized I needed a professional educational institution to help set me on my data science journey. I heard about this program from friends and alumni who were all graduates of Zaka and spoke at length about how Zaka helped their careers tremendously. I was pleasantly surprised at how professional and detailed this program was.  It is astonishing to consider the amount of knowledge and market-ready skills I gained from joining the Data Science Certification.
Throughout the program, I and others who had joined the data science certification would be introduced to new topics each week from Time Series Analysis, Natural Language Processing, Image Data Processing, Visualization with Tableau, SQL, and much more. All the while, instructors would be assisting us on hand and were always available for feedback and assistance. Many of the topics learned were new or improved the understanding of core concepts with deeper and more advanced knowledge. There were also many workshops with working professionals who taught us many hands-on and practical concepts and skills.
At the end of the program, We had to split into teams and complete a capstone project that utilizes the concepts learned throughout our time in the program to develop an AI solution. We also had the opportunity to have a career fair where we met many companies who were looking to hire graduates from Zaka directly. Many of these companies were high-tier professionals and would discuss at length with us graduates the AI and data concepts we would be working on with them.

All in all, I recommend the Data Science Certification Program for anyone looking to get into the Data Science field or even wanting to upskill and improve their knowledge.  It’s only been a few days since graduation and I already miss Zaka | زكا, and how not? When it’s one of the best, if not the best certification program I’ve enrolled in so far.
The Artificial Intelligence Certification program provided by Zaka | زكا is a 16-week intensive training program designed to equip you with the necessary knowledge, tools, and know-how for market-ready skills. 
The program is rich with educational and practical content, weekly office hours, hands-on sessions, and challenges that cover everything from ML and DS fundamentals to Deep Learning and MLOps.This was my favorite part as it provided a way for me to practice and implement all the knowledge acquired each week.
The last 3 weeks of the program were the most challenging, each person had to form a team of 2-3, pick a capstone project to work on, and successfully deploy during those weeks. My teammates were Hussein Bashir and Habib Mrad, and our project is called RooFinder. The project aims to develop one or multiple combined Machine Learning models that can automatically identify rooftops and detect rooftop features like obstacles, material, slopes, and area from high-resolution satellite imagery using ML and DeepLearning Techniques Like Instance segmentation, Image classification, and Image Processing.
I’d like to thank the Zaka | زكا team and especially Christophe Zoghbi and Reem Mahmoud who provided us with the weekly AI content, Fouad A. TRAD and Amanda Hachem who were always supporting us through the weekly office hours and Hands-on live sessions, Mrad Sleiman who was my team’s instructor during the capstone project, Dr. Elizabeth Kassab Sfeir who provided us with the right soft skills needed in our work environment, Laurene Abdallah our guarding angel who always makes sure we’re on track during the week through her daily reminders, and last but not least, Larissa Abi Nakhle the very first person I met from Zaka and the one who’s always cheerful and energetic.
I’m honored to be guided and supported by such great hearts and minds, and I’m happy to announce that I’ve #graduated from this program with recognition of distinction and I’m officially a market-ready Machine Learning Engineer.
I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in Machine Learning and Data Science regardless of the level of experience or background he/she has.
Needless to say, this is not the end of my journey in the AI world, It’s only the beginning as I’m well aware of the rapid growth in this field, but at least I can now say that I’ve successfully stepped foot in this wondrous world...

I am a physicist, and I like the application of physics in economics, so my senior project was about econophysics and my code was my first application in AI.
Then, I decided to learn more about the field of AI so I began my journey with the amazing startup and team at ZAKA.
I chose Data Science, and this decision was the most beneficial decision in my life, I realized that what I really wanted is to Solve Problems using AI, and all the techniques that we learned in the program. We learn a lot about data science, we applied our knowledge in weekly challenges, and finally, we presented our capstone project.
We had a lot of errors and challenges, but we grow our mindset and technical and soft skills with ZAKA.

This program is well-designed for anyone who's basically interested in Artificial Intelligence. The program is 16-weeks that's full of educational, entertaining and beneficial sessions given by the best instructors who are capable of making hard concept easy to understand. There's also weekly challenges that will always get you involved with the main concepts of the material whether it's Machine Learning or Data Science, the challenge is there to build your confidence and general knowledge of the AI field. There are also soft skills sessions that will enlighten you to the work environment in a company, how to build a successful CV and how to improve your LinkedIn page!
The program also consists of many office hours where you get to interact with welcoming, kind and amazing instructors who are professional in the field of AI and as mentioned before they're capable of making any complicated AI concept look easy. If you ever have questions you can always ask them during the weekly office hours or on Slack, which is the platform you'll use to communicate between your colleagues and instructors.
Near the end of the program you'll be asked to make your own Capstone project based off the skills you gained in this program, don't worry you won't be alone! You'll have a mentoring session each week from a professional who is capable of making your capstone journey simpler and more fun while also giving you the necessary feedback to improve.
In my journey with this program I didn't know much about NLP and Time Series, but thanks to the program I was able to understand terms like 'Bag of Words', 'AR', 'ARIMA', etc.
At the end of the journey I assure you that you'll be market ready, but don't lay back just yet as I want to remind you that the AI field is always growing, and to always be available in the market you have to always be replenishing your new learnt skills and the old basic skills like statistics.

The training plan was for me to start in the field of artificial intelligence, specifically data science.
During this workshop, we learned the most important packages for analyzing data and dealing with it professionally. We also learned how to evaluate and improve the model. I also learned about machine learning and deep neural networks
learning.

Also one of the best things I learned that was fun and useful is dealing with computer vision, web scraping, and NLP.
I was amazed at the treatment and kindness of the trainers, organizers and also the participants. I got relationships and friendships from different countries and also from Oman.

I finished my first year at university and decided to search for an internship or bootcamp that would excel my programming skills and help me discover my future job opportunities. I came across Zaka's AI bootcamp through a university whatsapp group and I was instantly interested as, we all know , AI is the future. The bootcamp topic that I liked the most was building a data science model that predicts results with a certain accuracy. It opened my eyes on the data analysis world and I am sure that I will work within this field one day.Moreover, building a artificial neural network was new to me and the fact that the idea behind it is based on the human brain is honestly mind-blowing. The best part of the bootcamp is creating your own project and practically working on the theories introduced in the lectures.I think the bootcamp did an excellent job at delivering AI topics during such a short period of time.I recommend it to all ages as it will superbly guide you to kickstart your AI journey. I've always wanted to dig deeper in AI, I knew about a course given in my country so I immediately registered.  I really liked computer vision and time series analysis , even though Time Series was fairly new to me. And I never expected it to be as relevant as it was to real world AI applications. The project was very fun to work on. I'm ready now to make my own project and learn more about any Ai subject from any course, which I will to enrich my knowledge even more. Read less

the Zaka Machine Learning Certification MLC program is one of my top of the top investments I have ever did for myself.
Zaka is itself a game changing school. I have started by taking their 3 weeks boot camp and which was an eye opener for me into the world of AI. then I found that it is important for me to join the 16 weeks MLC program which takes you right from the start like the 3 weeks boot camp and then digs way deeper than any course I have taken for the last 3 years. the MLC's strength lays on the following :
 - the very detailed videos that explains every single detail needed by the newbie

A beginner can find the world of AI to be overwhelming and intimidating. However, with the AI Bootcamp provided by Zaka, they are guaranteed a simple, thorought, and clear step by step introduction that will leave the participant able to stand on their feet and begin their AI journey.

I just finished the AI  bootcamp with zaka. In short, I had previous knowledge in machine learning and worked a few projects in it, but this bootcamp filled the gaps I had in the concepts of ML and applying it in real scenarios. It's Hisham I'm a data scientist, this certificate help me in my career and I got a better opportunity. The program was 16 insightful weeks we passed through all ML life cycles from collecting data to production. After every week a challenge covers all information and pushes you to go back if you miss something.
It was a great experience with a supportive team, adding to the technical information, I learned ways of thinking, how to present myself, and upgrade my resume.
I did my own project in the end and I continue updating it.

"AI is the future", well I always thought so and always wanted to know more and more, and here is how I began my journey with Zaka. I'm a computer science student and at my university, I took an AI course where we took some algorithms but I was curious and took the AI BootCamp at Zaka, It was also an amazing experience but I was more curious. Also, another course that was available at the university is machine learning which was interesting, I liked it a lot and I was really interested in reinforcement learning since I was responsible to study and make a small project about it. I also got a lot curious and here I found the tech for inclusivity program which includes the machine learning certification, and that's how I dived deeper into everything related to machine learning in all details. 
What I liked the most is computer vision, well simply because we all like images and take pictures and those pictures are pixelized into the computer, so letting the computer understand features and extract them, generate captions, or even analyze facial expressions was really exciting to me! I liked this topic a lot to the point that now I want to be a professional in Computer Vision no matter what and I figured out how will this help me with my future goals: I want to work at NASA and analyze space pictures in order to make it easier for the scientists to understand space species and maybe discover new chemicals, this topic clarified and make my goal easier since now I can analyze images and I can extract features and I even can deploy my work!!! 
Another topic that I liked is reinforcement learning since it lets the AI understand like humans and learn from their mistakes, also I am interested in gaming and I like good boss fights😅 and I know that reinforcement learning is the best algorithm to apply when it comes to game bosses since they are robots with higher strength and capabilities. 
I was surprised when I studied Time Series Analysis, it was totally new to me and it got my attention, we were able to learn about how to predict an aspect or more based on previous data, so here we are not only analyzing data, but we are taking into consideration the sequence of actions that led to this specific prediction and that was all new to me! 
At the end of the program, I made a project called space geeks that matches captions with images, and all images are related to space, this project for me is a big first step toward my goal and I am going to always try and change, add or even do new algorithms to make this project better and the most advanced possible! 
As I said before, the program has helped me achieve a big step forward in my future goal, It also added a lot of value to me since I'm a fresh graduate so now I have 2 certificates at the same time rather than 1, I have now new approaches to solving problems and I can be faced to another kind of problems that I usually get faced to, I have a huge knowledge of new websites, new resources and I can understand how to get the info and search properly about the things I need in new projects, I also have enhanced my python programming skills which I got introduced to in uni for the image processing course, and lastly but not least I am now more independent than ever when it comes to many things: make new projects, design algorithms, deploy new models and also I'm more confident when it comes to write my CV, make interviews and work on my LinkedIn since we got many talks about that stuff. 
In the future, I'm planning to become a computer vision professional and with Zaka's help, I'm going to achieve this goal!  Read less
