I absolutely loved this experience and will definitely do it again if I have the chance to! I decided to enroll in it in summer since I am now in my last year of high school and will graduate in a few months. I need to make my CV look good for applying to university while also benefitting from information they were completely able to provide me with. The topic I liked most was NLP. There were so many new topics I was able to learn about that I've never heard of before in such a short amount of time such as computer vision and linear regression models. This has given me a very strong base of information to stand on. It really improved my coding skills and I now feel like I've mastered deep learning. As someone interested in languages and linguistics, I found the mechanisms behind enabling computers to process and comprehend human language fascinating.Surprisingly, the material on time series analysis was also intriguing. Initially, I hadn't realized that this type of data required distinct approaches when handling it. This section fascinated me, although I found it slightly more challenging compared to the other topics.The bootcamp ended in a project, during which my teammate and I collaborated on a deep learning model for sentiment analysis of book reviews. Preparing the reviews for input, training the model, and assessing its performance were all integral parts of this process. One of the most practical courses I have taken, as it introduces the field of AI with hands-on examples by experienced instructors. You get to see how different AI models work such as computer vision and natural language processing, and although they are basic and introductory, they serve as a solid basis to future melding in different data and AI fields. Also, I enjoyed the project aspect of the course, in which I was able to fill in the gaps in my knowledge and get a better experience with a real ai model. In the beginning, I got an email from the university about this opportunity so I was excited to join this bootcamp since I am interested in such topics. The topic about computer vision was really interesting to me which resulted to me doing the project for this bootcamp on handwritten letters classification! For me, everything was new. I felt overwhelmed and confused a lot but the unique experience and the great material attracted me to continue! For my project, I decided to work with my teammate on handwritten letters classification since we both were interested in week #2 material (computer vision), it was hard but really educating and fun. I think that this bootcamp helped me a lot to delve into the realm of AI, this will for sure helps me in my future when I look back and remember the foundations I built in such topics during this bootcamp. Lastly, I decided to take a data science minor in my university (I am a computer science major student) and I will take "Machine Learning" course next semester and work on more projects!  Read less

Zaka Bootcamp gives you most of the introductory tools and concepts to start your AI/ML journey. IT is condensed and fast, but if you work hard you will get good overall knowledge to start your journey. It contains some of everything, Computer vision, NLP time series, and EDA. Read less

Actually I was totally new to this kind of programs, so getting used to it and learn was the kind of the newest part for me.

I first decided to join this bootcamp to gain a more solid understanding of the different fields of AI. I really enjoyed deep learning and computer vision the most even though I have previous experience with both, and I think these two topics would help me as a mechatronics engineer. On the other hand, time series analysis and forecasting was a new topic to me and I discovered how beneficial it is to my major. 
The project was the most exciting part of the bootcamp because we got to choose our own problem and apply what we learned to solve it with AI. I believe the project was a crucial step for us to understand the problems that can occur in practice.
As for my future plans, I plan on utilizing time series analysis within my major especially when I have sensor readings. Moreover, I plan on expanding my knowledge in the field of computer vision. Read less
