Background and Motivation I possess a background in business administration; however, during my three years at university, I independently developed a keen interest in programming and data analysis. This interest grew significantly, prompting me to delve deeper into the field of Data Science. As a result, I decided to join this comprehensive program to expand my knowledge and gain practical experience, effectively integrating my business education with AI and data expertise.

Program Structure and Specializations One of the aspects I highly valued about the program was its comprehensive approach, which did not strictly segregate Data Science (DS) and Machine Learning (ML) specializations. Instead, it provided a balanced mix of both, covering essential foundations such as the DS Lifecycle, Modelling, Time Series, Computer Vision, Geospatial Data, and Deep Learning. The DS specialization focused more on Data Extraction and Storytelling, while the ML track emphasized deployment, production, and large language models (LLMs). Detailed explanations, hands-on notebooks, and weekly challenges ensured a thorough understanding of every concept.

New Learning Experiences Several new topics captured my interest, particularly Computer Vision. This subject revealed the vast array of AI tools and real-life applications such as object detection, classification, segmentation, and anomaly detection in various fields like fashion and medicine. Transitioning from being merely an end user to a creator of these technologies was empowering. Another intriguing topic was Time Series Analysis and Forecasting, which became the focus of my capstone project. Our team developed a model to forecast meal demand for a cloud kitchen months in advance, a challenging yet rewarding experience.

Project Experience The project phase was both demanding and exhilarating. It provided a real-world simulation of a data scientist’s role, complete with deadlines, data constraints, and business challenges. This hands-on application of my learning encompassed the entire DS lifecycle—from data acquisition to model deployment. A significant contributor to my success was the program manager, Samer El Zant, whose guidance and mentorship were invaluable.

Transformation and Career Impact The program proved to be a transformative journey, enabling me to pivot my career towards AI and Data Science. I emerged as a market-ready certified Data Scientist, equipped to excel in any related job. Furthermore, the program integrated my business acumen with AI solutions, facilitating more efficient problem-solving than traditional methods.

Future Aspirations Looking ahead, I am eager to delve deeper into specific subfields and explore additional use cases. I am currently developing demonstrations with real-life datasets, aiming to secure a Data Scientist or AI-related position in the near future. My ultimate goal is to become a leader in the field, continually pushing the boundaries of what AI can achieve.
This program was not just an educational experience but a pivotal chapter in my career, opening new horizons and equipping me with the skills needed to thrive in the dynamic world of AI and Data Science.

As a techincal support specialist, I decided to learn about AI and working with data. I discovered Zaka, one of the outstanding academy and community for AI field. I had the opportunity to be accepted in the AI Certification Data Science Specialization which took over 20 weeks. In those 20 weeks I learned alot and every week module was insightful and very well explained. The instructors were very helpful and constantly available for assistance. To the fact that I was not very good in Python programming (or basically any other programming langauge), I was very pleased and content to have sharpened those skills and improved them by the end of the program. Zaka also represented lots of workshops during the program, as well as hosting a virtual career fair which was really one of a kind. It was great meeting companies and ambassadors from the AI field and connect with them. Zaka school is highly recommended!

I joined the certification program after I realized I needed a professional educational institution to help set me on my data science journey. I heard about this program from friends and alumni who were all graduates of Zaka and spoke at length about how Zaka helped their careers tremendously. I was pleasantly surprised at how professional and detailed this program was.  It is astonishing to consider the amount of knowledge and market-ready skills I gained from joining the Data Science Certification.Throughout the program, I and others who had joined the data science certification would be introduced to new topics each week from Time Series Analysis, Natural Language Processing, Image Data Processing, Visualization with Tableau, SQL, and much more. All the while, instructors would be assisting us on hand and were always available for feedback and assistance. Many of the topics learned were new or improved the understanding of core concepts with deeper and more advanced knowledge. There were also many workshops with working professionals who taught us many hands-on and practical concepts and skills.At the end of the program, We had to split into teams and complete a capstone project that utilizes the concepts learned throughout our time in the program to develop an AI solution. We also had the opportunity to have a career fair where we met many companies who were looking to hire graduates from Zaka directly. Many of these companies were high-tier professionals and would discuss at length with us graduates the AI and data concepts we would be working on with them.All in all, I recommend the Data Science Certification Program for anyone looking to get into the Data Science field or even wanting to upskill and improve their knowledge. The program has taught me so many things and I can't wait to take advantage of all the opportunities this program has offered me.

Happy to have had the chance to be in a team of bright, aspiring data and machine learning people.The uniqueness of this program includes weekly coding challenges and prior to that, well-explained course lessons including everything you need to know from the basics of data science, machine learning, deep learning, NLP, data visualization with tableau and PowerBI, SQL, and More!In addition, you will have the opportunity to ask and interact with the instructors during the follow-up sessions and practical workshops with top industry experts!I can't ask for more well-organized and fruitful information than I gained during the AI certification program with Zaka.

I am a physicist, and I like the application of physics in economics, so my senior project was about econophysics and my code was my first application in AI.Then, I decided to learn more about the field of AI so I began my journey with the amazing startup and team at ZAKA.I chose Data Science, and this decision was the most beneficial decision in my life, I realized that what I really wanted is to Solve Problems using AI, and all the techniques that we learned in the program. We learn a lot about data science, we applied our knowledge in weekly challenges, and finally, we presented our capstone project.We had a lot of errors and challenges, but we grow our mindset and technical and soft skills with ZAKA.I plan to apply my AI knowledge in my online physics academy DETA XI. This program is well-designed for anyone who's basically interested in Artificial Intelligence. The program is 16-weeks that's full of educational, entertaining and beneficial sessions given by the best instructors who are capable of making hard concept easy to understand. There's also weekly challenges that will always get you involved with the main concepts of the material whether it's Machine Learning or Data Science, the challenge is there to build your confidence and general knowledge of the AI field. There are also soft skills sessions that will enlighten you to the work environment in a company, how to build a successful CV and how to improve your LinkedIn page!The program also consists of many office hours where you get to interact with welcoming, kind and amazing instructors who are professional in the field of AI and as mentioned before they're capable of making any complicated AI concept look easy. If you ever have questions you can always ask them during the weekly office hours or on Slack, which is the platform you'll use to communicate between your colleagues and instructors.Near the end of the program you'll be asked to make your own Capstone project based off the skills you gained in this program, don't worry you won't be alone! You'll have a mentoring session each week from a professional who is capable of making your capstone journey simpler and more fun while also giving you the necessary feedback to improve.In my journey with this program I didn't know much about NLP and Time Series, but thanks to the program I was able to understand terms like 'Bag of Words', 'AR', 'ARIMA', etc.At the end of the journey I assure you that you'll be market ready, but don't lay back just yet as I want to remind you that the AI field is always growing, and to always be available in the market you have to always be replenishing your new learnt skills and the old basic skills like statistics.So what are you waiting for? The training plan was for me to start in the field of artificial intelligence, specifically data science.During this workshop, we learned the most important packages for analyzing data and dealing with it professionally. We also learned how to evaluate and improve the model. I also learned about machine learning and deep neural networkslearning.Also one of the best things I learned that was fun and useful is dealing with computer vision, web scraping, and NLP.I was amazed at the treatment and kindness of the trainers, organizers and also the participants. I got relationships and friendships from different countries and also from Oman.Thanks to all...I had the honor of getting to know everyone and benefiting from their experiences.
