THE GREATEST JOURNEY IN MY CAREER:

Yellow tail Tech is the best place to meet exceptional instructors, to receive great incentives toward further learning, and to meet the best fellow students as well.
I have learned to appreciate our Lead Instructor Thierry with his charisma in conveying instructions to the students, Zee with the daily support he's giving us,
Cedric in helping us avoid the pitfalls of his own experience, Allan with his deep knowledge of the course, and
above all, we have all been blessed by the selfless devotion of David, by helping us with his classes every weekend.
I wanted to emulate him, but not having a premium Zoom account, or not having a laptop that can remain intact for more than 45 minutes have prevented me in many occasions.  Thank you to all of my fellow students who have helped directly or indirectly during these past few months.
My final advice to those who think on taking the test in 2-3-4-5 months, DO NOT WAIT that long as this test will be grueling to you by the time you finally decide to do so..

THERE ARE NO OTHER BOOTCAMPS LIKE YELLOW TAIL TECH!
I want to start by making this clear. Last year, around early 2020 I did not know anything about IT aside from clearing my browser, restarting and shutting down my PC.This Linux/AWS school is straight-forward and I’m a living proof that you will catch on during the whole process.Everything was hands-on, the explanations and learnings were clear, they have the best learning platform, the most fun student environment and there are several ways to review to stay up-to-date with your studies.I never once felt left out, confused nor lost during the whole process of learning.This is not just a typical review to get you to click and call; this is exactly what you need if you need to get into the IT world.
The instructors are amazing and excellent at what they do. There’s nothing better than having instructors that are actually working in the field, to help you prepare and enter the same field with a clear knowledge.Yellow Tail Tech also has a great communication platform to stay in touch with your instructors and fellow students. There are no blind spots through this learning process.
Yellow Tail Tech has the best format that I’ve never seen. I’ve research, asked and looked at other IT learning platforms but Yellow tail Tech was the best out there altogether.The lectures, live labs, recorded sessions (to go back and review what you may have missed), plenty study groups options and direct access for any help you may need to get back in track.
Learning should be a fun experience, easy, worth your money and time.Well, Yellow Tail Tech gives that and more than you could ever expect.It feels like family and we all have each other’s back in unselfish ways.

Yellow Tail Tech is absolutely life-changing!I knew Yellow Tail Tech since my husband started his journey with them. Such a great Tech Training Institute! I saw very close how quickly he got certified. He landed in his dream IT job which he was waiting for so long! It was quick, easy, and convenient! That motivated me to think about it even if I don't have an IT experience or knowledge. The program format of AWS at Yellow Tail is awesome and I know I couldn't find any other better Tech Training Institute than this! We have all the materials that we need and we are learning all the details practically in a lab! I'm mostly enjoying the review sessions and we always have a great team support either on our classes, on review sessions or in our Student Hub in Slack!I can't wait to achieve my goal which is to get certified!
I am looking forward to changing my career, having a better income while working from home and having the privilege of spending more time with my family!Yellow Tail Tech lights up our path and it is absolutely life changing!

I can honestly say that I'm loving every moment of my training at Yellow Tail Tech. One thing I've come to realize is that if there's a topic I don't fully understand, it's not because the material is difficult. It's simply because I haven't devoted enough attention to it. Yellow Tail Tech has taught me the value of persistence. When faced with a challenging concept, I go over it repeatedly until it finally clicks. And once it does, everything becomes so much easier. Yellow Tail Tech is not just an IT training program; it is a life-changing experience.

Being a student at Yellow Tail Tech has been an amazing experience for me. The IT infrastructure and networking program materials are incredibly detailed yet presented in simple, easy to understand terms. You don't have to worry about getting lost in technical jargon while you’re on the learning platform or any other resources. The instructors are exceptional at explaining concepts clearly, and they make sure we grasp the content thoroughly. I really appreciate about the program is they give more preparation time before the classes begin. This allows us to review the upcoming topics and be ready to engage in meaningful discussions during the class sessions. Although I have an IT background, I believe that even individuals without any prior experience in the field can excel in this course.

I worked as a boutique employee before I enrolled at Yellow Tail Tech, the curriculum was very well-curated and taught by top-notch educators. In my class, David was our lead instructor and he was just the best! There’s so much fun in class, we don’t just learn but we converse like we’re all friends that have a common goal. The program structure really helped me all the way to the cert prep and it’s true what Jubee said from the very beginning if we focus and follow the steps they provided we would get the job.
I especially like the fact that I can communicate with my classmates all the time because we have a slack channel so every time we have some topics we don’t understand we can send it there and our instructors are also on the channel so they can comment or give feedback as well. I also like that everyone, especially the staff, not just our instructors, is very encouraging which makes me more motivated to learn.
It’s been 6 months since I landed the job and I’m very happy about it. I worked hard and I got what I wanted. Learning at Yellow Tail Tech was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. I would encourage everyone who wants a career change to learn at Yellow Tail Tech.

Yellowtail Tech has a great beginning program for those who are looking to pivot into IT. There are other self taught programs and bootcamps available, but I chose Yellowtail Tech because of the opportunity to learn from professionals in the field. The instructors explain things very thoroughly and they're great people who genuinely care about your success. They're also very relatable because they come from backgrounds that are non-IT related and are alumni of the very school that they are teaching. The course work may seem intimidating at first, but if you stick with it, keep asking questions and practice, it'll become very easy to grasp. Yellowtail also has an awesome network of alumni, career success coaches and TA's who are ready to answer your questions when you have them. They also have built a great community amongst the students and Instructors, it feels like a second family. 

As a student at Yellow Tail Tech, I was impressed by the fact that this program is very organized. I have been through a previous training and I really appreciate that they're very organized. That all the information is already given, and I think people need to appreciate the fact that everything is handed to you at your hands and all you have to do is revise the information. The experience I had previously, it's more like you got to go out there and research information, but then what's the point of trying to look all over the place for information if they provide you with information that’s right in front of you. What I appreciate the most about Yellow Tail Tech is how organized they are which makes it easier for me to focus.
The team is really knowledgeable. They're ready to answer all questions and I think overall the process, how Yellow Tail Tech handles teaching others, I think they make it as simple as possible so I do really appreciate that.
I'll give a shout out to Allan. I think Allan is probably like the gold mine for Yellow Tail Tech, and the only reason why I'm saying this is because he seems like he has a lot of patience when it comes to answering questions. He will take the time to explain to you the material and if you have any questions, he will explain it to you. I think that is the big takeaway out of all of that. From learning from nothing to something, because not everybody is on the same page as Allan when answering questions.

I was working at Amazon when one of my co-workers transitioned into Linux. I was there seeing him as he entered Yellow Tail’s program, how he graduated, took the internship, and got a job in a span of months!
 
His journey inspired me to at least try it and I’m so happy that I did. I’m really grateful for all of our instructors, especially Thierry, Zee, and Allan. These guys are the best! They’re the most knowledgeable people I know who helped me refine my skills in I.T.
 
Can I also say how awesome the program structure is? It’s so well-developed and it’s constantly adapting to the changes in technology. This is definitely a huge upgrade to my knowledge in I.T.

I attended this program while having a day job as a DevOps Engineer. I thought there was something lacking for me to be able to grow further and Yellow Tail Tech filled that hole.
 
They helped me develop the skills that I already had as a DevOps Engineer and made me feel grounded.
 
I really loved the one on one sessions I had with our Student Support Coach. She helped me build a career path and really took time to help me create my resume and online presence. Even when I was already in DevOps, this is the first time someone really helped me with these kinds of things.
 
One more thing that I loved about Yellow Tail Tech was how they created this positive student environment where all of us are helping each other, pushing each other to succeed. We even had these weekend review sessions to help us even more.
 
I’m now on my way in getting my certification, thanks to Yellow Tail Tech.

 Even though I already had a career in Armed Security, I was feeling burned out and started researching options for a career change, that's when I found Yellow Tail Tech, which helped me get my current job as a Linux System Admin.Out of all the programs I looked into, Yellow Tail Tech seemed to be the best option for me.  I booked a career strategy session and was pleased to learn that the program is structured in such a way that you are taking classes 2-3 times a week but also have all these additional resources available, such as a student platform, individualized attention from instructors when you have doubts and that they foster an environment where everyone is looking out for each other, just to name a few.I am so glad I gave Yellow Tail Tech a chance. I now have more time for my family and I couldn’t be any happier. I’ve highly recommended this program to family and friends. 

After being in Psychology for a long time, I wanted to go into a career that would give me a similar income but kept me closer to my family and gave me better career-life balance, so I started looking into IT.  I took my masters in I.T. but that wasn’t enough to help me develop a career, and that’s when I saw Yellow Tail Tech.Yellow Tail Tech was the only program that I found in my area that provided what I was looking for.  From the very beginning, just looking at the course I could tell that this was the right fit for me.  Having live sessions at least twice a week, and in the evenings was a big plus.  I also put in an hour at the beginning and end of my day to go over the materials, practice and even review past sessions since everything is recorded and available to us at any time.  The instructors are industry professionals with an ocean of knowledge, and they really make sure to pass on that knowledge to you in a way that is easy to understand and are very approachable.  They are also always available for any additional questions you might have even outside of class.  Thank you, Yellow Tail, for providing me with the knowledge and also providing all the support I needed to start my career in I.T.  The foundation that you provided has been life-changing and I will always recommend this program to anyone that is looking to get into the field but feels that it can’t be done.  Let Yellow Tail Tech show you the way!
