I couldn't be happier with my decision to enroll in Yellow Tail Tech's program. Like, from the get-go, I could tell I was in good hands. The instructors know their stuff inside out, and you can feel just their passion they have in every class. What I appreciate the most about the program is the personalized attention and support that every student receives. Whether it's through one-on-one meetings or additional study sessions, the instructors are always available to help us succeed. One of my favorite parts of the program was the apprentiecship, which provided me with hands-on experience in the field. I was able to work on real projects and learn from experienced professionals. It was truly invaluable to my growth as a tech professional. I feel confident and prepared to take on any challenge that comes my way, thanks to the skills and knowledge I've gained in the program. 

I had been actively looking for a new career path when I saw a post online about a tech program that offered practical knowledge and hands-on experience. I got really curious about it so I did some research and discovered Yellow Tail Tech. Their program is pretty darn impressive! And get this, past students have been raving about it too. So, without thinking twice, I decided to enroll in their program. And you know what? Looking back now, it was seriously one of the best decisions I've ever made. The class structure was amazing, and the live sessions helped me a lot because I was able to ask questions directly, instead of waiting for an answer. I also appreciated that the majority of instructors were program graduates, so they had personal experience and insight. Our instructor, David, was outstanding. He had a lot of energy and enthusiasm for the subject matter, and his teaching style was engaging and effective. I also appreciated the support from the other instructors and TAs. They were all knowlegeable and helpful.

Enrolling at Yellow Tail Tech was one of the best decisions I ever made. A year prior to starting the Linux for Jobs program, I had gone through a divorce and was left taking care of my kids while working as a nurse and taking on side jobs just to make ends meet. What really stood out to me was the flexble financial partner they had, which helped me pay for the tuition. This was a huge relief for me as I was struggling financially at the time. What sets Yellow Tail Tech apart from other learning institutions is their commitment to their students. They take the time to explain things thoruoghly and ensure that you truly understand the material. The training, structure of the lessons, and community at Yellow Tail Tech gave me the confidence I need to become an IT professional, even though I had no previous IT background. Their commitment to their students is through the roof, I meant it was awesome, and I am grateful for everything they have done for me.

The Yellow Tail Tech team was amazing from the start. I remember feeling nervuos about taking on a new career, but their support made all the difference. Starting from the onboarding process, they’re just 10/10. The program was well-designed, and the curriculum was thorugh, covering all the essential concepts and skills. I was impress by the practical exercises and projects that we worked on, they helped me build my confidence and provided me with the real-world experience that I needed to succeed.Yellow Tail Tech has truly given me the tools to suceed and achieve my dreams.

I can't believe how much Ive grown since I first started my journey with Yellow Tail Tech. When I look back, I realize how nervous I was but now,  I near the end of the program I feel so much more conifdent in my skills and abilities.Georges, my instructor, has continue to be a huge help to me. His passion for teaching is very inspiring and he's always there to guide us through any challenges especially during our certification prep. He truly cares about each and every student and wants us all to succeed. I can honestly say that I've learnd more from him than I ever thought possible. This program has been lifechanging and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it.

When I first joined the Linux for Jobs Program at Yellow Tail Tech, I was working as a server in a local restaurant. I was scrolling through Instgram in search of a new career when I stumbld upon a hashtag that led me to Yellow Tail Tech's post. I feel that that was a sign that I needed to take the risk and change into a different career. From the moment I started the course, I knew I was on the right track. The positive environment, knowledgeble instructors, and engaging class made me feel like I was part of a community. But what stood out the most was the hands-on approach of the program. I had to apply what I learned immediately by completing tasks on my computer. This approach not only helped me to learn faster but also prepared me for realworld scenarios. When I passed the RHCSA test, I knew my life was about to change for the better. And it did. I landed a job as a system engineer for a software development team, a career that I wanted. I am now able to provide for my family and live a life that I always dreamed of. The Linux for Jobs program is not just about learning, it's about applying what you learn. So if you're looking for a program that can help you achieve your goals, then Yellow Tail Tech is the way to go.

Getting that good firm foundation of understanding was helpful because now I'm in the cert prep program and it has not been easy, but it gave me a greater understanding. Sometimes you take courses and you don't really get what they're saying or you don't get the material and you're just being told just to constantly read, read, read, but this is more or less, hands-on. I'm more of a learner. I like to touch things and read at the same time. One thing I love about the course is that they have you doing it. From day one, you download a Linux operating system and you're playing on it already. The hands-on is what's golden about it.
I enjoyed the Yellow Tail Tech program a lot. Looking back now, I can't believe it's been six months already, that's how much I've enjoyed it because usually, there’s a time when I've been in school before, in college and you’re just wondering, man when is this course going to end? 
I just feel like every day with this course I'm learning something new and I don't really even want it to end. I'm like, look, I'm ready to sign off for the AWS course and take that side of it now or the soon-to-come engineering course that you're going to go into it.
The learning experience has been wonderful because I feel like I've learned a lot. I feel like I've absorbed a lot. I wish I could have taken even more advantage then I'll probably be a bit even further. I will recommend it to a lot of other people because like I said, it's hands-on. I don't think you can really beat doing hands-on versus just reading all the time and theorizing. You are really doing what you're going to do, and I think that's probably the best way to learn.

When it comes to the instructors, I have to give a special shoutout to George and Ricky because they were my primary instructors. They did an incredible job teaching us everything we needed to know. They taught us how to approach problems and troubleshoot, which has been invaluable. 
I'm really enjoying the program and I'm actually excited for my upcoming test. I feel pretty confident and ready for it. There's always more to learn, but I feel like the program has prepared me well. And I genuinely like everyone in the program.

I absolutely loved the program. I still talk to probably at least 12 people in my actual cohort that I went through the program with. You're going to establish a lifelong kind of bond with these people going through, just this short period of time going through the program. 
We go to class every week for two days out of the week. You're learning Linux probably six days out of that week. So two of those days you're instructed by your teacher and you go through the material as a class. The other days, it's up to you to either go through that material and review yourself, or go through all the material with your cohort and classmates.
It's eight months in the class, then you're going to do an apprenticeship. It probably adds up to about a year's time, depending on how everybody else goes through the program. I'm out of the program and I still talk to these people. I consider them my friends.

My Online IT program at Yellow Tail Tech is an extraordinary and an exceptional experience because the program is designed to integrate and accommodate every person with or without an IT knowledge or background seriously seeking to bridge into and grow into the IT industry like me. The program is designed to select only the serious people.


Yellow Tail Tech also provided an internship platform for me once I successfully complete the course and pass the certification exams, unlike traditional schools which often pays attention to the academic terms with little or no emphasis made to provide job environment experiences after the program.


My instructors are also products of this IT online bootcamp who graduated from the same program I’m enrolled in. They came in with no background in IT but made it to the top from the IT online program. This motivates me to be successful in my IT career. They are extensively skillful, proficient, and down-to-earth with every student’s opinion and experiences, and always encourages collaborating and laying emphasis on working hard. I’m happy and proud to be a part of the Yellow Tail Tech learning community and infrastructure.

It’s incredible to be part of the Linux for Jobs program at Yellow Tail Tech. The flow of materials that we have to learn is well-curated. It’s very good. They point out what to expect, and what classes will be taught at this certain period and I like that. I’ve had some trust issues because of my experience with other online schools but Yellow Tail Tech kept me going. They made sure that everything was well laid out. They provided us with the best, no exaggeration they’re just the best instructor, shoutout to you Georges. Anyway, the support also is amazing from the start. They made sure we never had issues and helped us out whenever something came up. I like the weekly review sessions, and I think we need to add more hours for it. The review sessions are optional so it's okay if you won’t join. The good thing about it is that all the classes are recorded so you can review them when you have spare time. Even the review sessions are recorded so you won’t miss anything. I think for me, I’m the number 1 fan of Yellow Tail Tech. I just love everything that they do, and of course, I would recommend them to anyone who’s ready to change to the next level.

I worked as a teacher for 5 years already and I decided to change gears and shift to a career in tech. Still, it wasn’t an easy decision, but you know I decided to jump in and embrace the uncertainty. I was really glad that I chose Yellow Tail Tech because their program is very career-focused so I know where I’m headed. After I finished my internship, they helped me with preparing for my interviews which helped me land 3 job offers. For future students at Yellow Tail Tech, I would advise you to join activities that are outside your class like webinars, there’s a lot that they’ve set up for you. Rob, the Career Success Coach has prepared several activities for you to join too, so you make sure to join it. The webinars are something that I look forward to. There are a lot of people who join the webinars, some are alumni, some students from other cohorts, so you can really network. Webinars or workshops, they host things like that so that’s really something that students should look into. I really like how Yellow Tail Tech manages the students and how responsive they are to our needs. The whole Yellow Tail Tech team makes you feel comfortable. 

Yellow Tail Tech gave me everything I needed to become an IT Professional. One of the things I love about Yellow Tail Tech is that their teachers are really helpful. They also finish the program at Yellow Tail Tech so they’re like a walking example of what we’re going to be. Most of them have day jobs as IT professionals while teaching us part-time. That really just puts me at ease because they know what’s going on in the field. Allan, our instructor, is 100% the best. He makes sure that we understood and absorbed the information before moving on to the next. You can ask questions anytime so I really like that because since it's online some of them may have other things to do so it's just nice that they really make sure that they respond. I really like our Slack community where students can post questions and receive feedback immediately. The instructors and the teachers respect each other so that the environment is really more open to learning. Also, most of us have no IT background so we really like the pace, it’s kind of slow at first when we started with the basics then it gradually changed into a different pace once we’ve already adjusted so yeah that’s really great. I really enjoyed the program. It helped me become more comfortable with using technology and I’m really looking forward to a more positive future in tech. 

I worked as part of the admin team before coming to Yellow Tail Tech. How I came to Yellow Tail Tech is just a very funny coincidence. I just overheard it from someone who’s visiting his family member in the hospital and I looked into it. It was purely by chance. And in my case, I was already tired of my job and I wanted to have a change of pace. Getting into tech was not part of the plan but I was interested to know more about it. So I searched about Yellow Tail Tech and boom! I decided to just go for it.
It’s the best decision ever because I was able to learn a lot and you know I put in the work like what they always say here at Yellow Tail Tech. You really have to put in the work and practice. The program structure is perfect. It is really just the best, especially for someone like me who has no idea what Linux is all about. They really helped me out so now I’m already an intern and you know Yellow Tail Tech has been with me throughout the whole process. I think if someone who’s already unhappy with what he’s doing, looks into Yellow Tail Tech, you will not regret it. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made. 

I was just laid off from my job when the pandemic was just in the middle phase. So I was kind of depressed, to be honest.I had nothing to do with my time, and since we're staying at home I looked for remote jobs on LinkedIn, and it's mostly about tech. So I searched for careers in tech and how to get it with no IT background then a day after that I received a message on my LinkedIn account it was an Ad from Yellow Tail Tech, that’s where I got the message of why not try this thing.
I’m already on my internship period so I’m really grateful to Yellow Tail Tech for guiding me and helping me out. My instructors and TAs for answering my questions every time I post them on Slack or whenever I message them directly I always get a response. It’s been quite a ride but I’m really looking forward to having more knowledge and when I finish my internship I want to quickly get a job. Yellow Tail Tech helped me find my purpose again and I’m very grateful. 

I chose to study at Yellow Tail Tech because their program said something like helping people with no IT background get a career in tech. I’m actually exploring different careers right now, but with what Yellow Tail Tech has shown me, I think I’m going to pursue this career. I’m doing the Linux for Jobs program and I’m already in my cert prep so I like it because I’ve already learned a lot since I started. I’ve never really had a background in tech, apart from watching Netflix and doing facebook, basically that’s the only thing I do using my laptop. Now I already know a lot about Linux, thanks to my instructors. For sure, there’s a lot of information to know and to get familiar with but you know we have the right pacing and you know the instructors are willing to teach you one-on-one if you couldn’t get the topic. So I really like that. In my class, we have study groups so every after class we meet with my classmates and discuss the topic that we just finished or other topics too, so that’s also very helpful. I think the best thing about Yellow Tail Tech is how consistent they are in communicating with their students, I mean they just respond to you immediately so I really really like that part about them. Overall they’re just full of support so I think if you want to enroll in a program, you don’t need to hesitate because Yellow Tail Tech has everything you need.

What I like about Yellow Tail Tech is how they make sure that the process is clear to the students. I mean from the very beginning, during Kick Off when we were introduced to the team. As a student, I already know the schedule of the topics that we will be discussing. So I really appreciate that. I’m also very thankful to our instructor David, I mean, David is like the BEST instructor one could ever ask for. The class was super engaging and we were all encouraged to ask questions because that’s the way you can learn. So yeah that’s really amazing. The TAs were also alumni from Yellow Tail Tech so it’s very motivating to see them teach us knowing that they were also like us before. If you’re planning on shifting careers and you really want to gain something out of your investment. Yellow Tail Tech is the path for you. You just have to be willing to do the work. The instructors will guide you and the TAs too but you have to practice too because you know it’s the only way you can make sure that you get the lessons and that you retain them. I really like how they taught us everything from the very basics. I also like the review sessions during weekends. It’s also a plus that all the classes are recorded and you can download them, so this helps you practice. Yellow Tail Tech is really really the best. 

My experience at Yellow Tail Tech has been really great. The program structure is very well laid out and on point. I very much like how the instructors handle the classes. The instructors and the TAs are just the best at what they do. I also like the diverse community of students. There’s a mix of us from different job backgrounds and I think it’s cool knowing that some have really nice jobs but they still want to transition to tech. The reason why I wanted to have a career in IT is that I’ve been stuck with my job. I feel like I’m not growing anymore and I wanted to do something with my life that’s fulfilling. I also want to work remotely, so if given the chance like when I’m offered a job already I would really grab that. I’m already applying for jobs now and the Yellow Tail Tech team has been helping me with my resume and LinkedIn account like how to make it look professional. I’m also doing mock interviews which I really enjoyed because I really lack communication skills, so that really helped me. Just 3 days ago I already received a job offer but I’m still looking for other opportunities. I can’t imagine doing this without the help of Yellow Tail Tech, the whole team. They really know what to do and you will feel that you are not alone in the whole process. 

Yellow Tail Tech is underrated. More people should know about this program.At first, I thought it was another training scam because I was already scammed twice. I didn’t want to believe it right away. So I really had to watch all of their transformation videos on their website and actually read the testimonials. I even reached out to one of their graduates on LinkedIn just to be sure. Once I’ve confirmed that they’re legit, that’s when I signed up right away and I have never regretted it since. I’m almost at the end of the program and I’m gonna miss my classmates for sure!
