Turing College

I have enrolled in their new Web Development bootcamp. Despite having significant experience working in management positions at various FinTech companies, I had no prior experience with coding. I decided to take this course because of my interest in their Data Science Master's Degree program. However, I recognized the importance of establishing a solid coding foundation first. I find their course to be both comprehensive and intensive. Even though I am still a beginner, I am genuinely impressed with their curriculum, methodology, and platform. Additionally, the attentive staff, who are always available to assist each student, have made a significant difference for me. Personally, I required some assistance, and I never felt like just a number in this program. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Distance learning is not just the future; it is the present, and the quality they provide is on par with on-site courses. I highly recommend Turing College.

My course was highly effective in terms of how much I was able to learn in a short period of time. Each time the theoretical knowledge gained through studying the material was transferred to practical application in projects. Those then were corrected by either a peer or senior team lead from the industry which gave me an insight on what could be improved and how I could widen my horizons in becoming a better code writer and a critical thinker.

For an online school you can expect to go on your own pace or have a flexible schedule. Obviously, Turing College serves you that but it is much much more than that. I have only completed 1,5/5 modules, but I am already fully enjoying this experience. 
The most important thing for me is that Turing College is building a community of peers, Junior Team Leads, Senior Team Leads and their stuff where everyone is treated with respect, shares experience all around and finally will endorse on your way while you are still learning. 
For traditional school you would be getting your knowledge from only a few field experts. Here you can have dozen and dozen of them. So I believe you learn from a bigger variety of experts here than in traditional school.
Not only that! You can review others as well. Which in the end empowers you to look at your tasks from the different angles as you are coming back to the same material and looking and the same problems. Thus you can analyze how those problems were tackled by your peers. Learning by teaching is really great here!
I assume after I finish the course I could still add more over here, but this time from me last but not least is that Turing College have a super active community. Most of the time it is even faster and more accurate to ask for a help from anyone out there than to do some googling, youtubing or asking AI for a solution.

I was choosing between 2 bootcamps for Data Analytics course and I cannot be more happy that Turing College was my choice. It has so many advantages: projects in every sprint and 2 code reviews for each where peer and field professional dedicate their time to make sure you understood the topic and all related (and unrelated too) are answered so I feel so confident and grateful after each of reviews. Moreover self-paced learning gives you opportunity not to miss anything and to make sure you dedicate your time when you are free. Getting help at each step, no matter of the time (day or night, Tuesday or Sunday) is valuable support I didn't get in any bootcamps or schools. The system provides a platform for self learning. But all your projects are reviewed (at first by peers, then by senior tech lead), and you also have to review projects of other peers. So it's a great opportunity to work on soft skills as well and to be able to evaluate yourself comparing to others, to see other approaches and solutions of the same task. Every day you can visit open sessions and ask all your questions — junior tech leads help with issues. The system is based on practise, all learning materials are provided. Learners attend mandatory weekly stand-ups to discuss and give updates on their learning progress, encountered challenges, and the methodologies adopted to overcome them. These sessions also offer an opportunity to ask questions and foster collaborative learning. Moreover, Open-Sessions, facilitated by learners who have transitioned to the role of Junior Team Leaders, serve as a platform to seek clarifications and insights on various questions or challenges. 

The sense of community established at the bootcamp is commendable, characterized by friendliness, courtesy, and a readiness to assist. The guidance provided by the Senior Team Leaders is invaluable. They not only offer feedback on projects but also share nuanced insights about the data sector, insights which otherwise would take extended periods in a professional setting. The duration of each sprint is reasonable. 

However, some learning material needs updates. More additional & optional resources for a deeper understanding would be a welcomed addition.

I think it is the best online course available on the market for data analytics. First of all you get the real community experience and for sure you are always going to receive help in case you get stuck while understanding some topics or writing code. Moreover, the provided content is relevant and up to date. Turing College also prepares you for job interviews very well. After I finished this course I landed a job with above market salary. It is concentrated, really deep and useful course. One on One code reviews makes your studying more effective and helps you ensure you get all this valuable information from industry experts. After the course you have the main idea about databases, SQL, the main data analysis types and how you can handle the huge amounts of data. I was able to start working as data analyst right after the course and did have any big challenges. Turing staff is doing a wonderful job and the community there is so welcoming it just makes studying there one of the best things which would ever happen to you.  If you are looking for the data analyst course, stop right here, because Turing is THE place where you should do it. How can a lawyer become a decision scientist? Oh yeah, it's possible... but only after learning and finishing Turing College.
