Springboard is an online learning platform that prepares students for the tech industry’s most in-demand careers with comprehensive, mentor-led online programs in software engineering, data science, UI/UX design, cybersecurity, tech sales, and more. All Springboard courses are 100% online, remote, and self-paced throughout an average of 6-9 months. Springboard acts as a support system, coach, and cheerleader for working professionals who are ready to level-up or make a major career shift. Students have access to a unique community of industry mentors, thought leaders, and alumni, who are on hand to offer insights, networking opportunities, and support throughout the program and well past graduation. Every Springboard student is matched with a personal student advisor and industry mentor who guides them throughout the program through regular video calls.

To apply, applicants fill out an online form, take an aptitude test, then talk with a school representative about their background and motivations. For the data science career track a background in statistics and/or programming is required. For the UX career track, students should have academic or professional background in user design or development-oriented fields.

Before graduation, Springboard’s career services team supports students in their job search, helping prepare them for interviews and networking, and facilitates their transition into the tech industry. Springboard's programs are backed with a Money-Back Guarantee.

Springboard’s support does not end when students graduate. All graduates benefit from an extensive support network encompassing career services, 1:1 career coaching, networking tips, resume assistance, interview prep, and salary negotiation. Since Springboard was founded in 2013, 94% of eligible graduates secured a job within one year, earning an average salary increase of $26,000.

Had a great experience with springboard

Pros are that the program has a great support system and a very solid curriculum.  Also customer service is great and they provide a strong team of individuals to help prepare you from everything from learning the material to preparing for the job market with a series of mock interviews.  resume assistance and all of that.

Cons are some glitches in the INFOsec program but they are minor, and the freedom of being able to work at your own pace can work against you if you allow yours...

    Comprehensive Education

I started the program with some background in computer science so not everything I saw was brand new to me, but the program explained the majority of the concepts very well. There were many cybersecurity concepts that were brand new to me that were explained to me in a way that was easy to digest, and would be easily reviewable if necessary. You always have many options for support when you have questions in the form of advisors, a personal mentor, and many of the fellow students through...

    Great experience!

I love from how the course was set up to how helpful mentors were. Great experience! I just wish to knew about this program sooner so that I could have done it earlier. I really like that there will be career coach available for help even after I had finished the whole program for 6 moths.

    Good pace

I did enjoy it , I think they did good job of pacing the material and also providing support from having your own mentor to offering office hours for questions. They give you a good amount of time to finish and everyone was very helpful and got back to me in a timely matter!

    Springboard online

The overall experience of enrolling in the Springboard bootcamp was good but at some point curriculum needs to be updated and the last month was tough!  The mentoring system was really helpful and mentors have a strong background in the field so their feedback is really important. the fact that after graduation you still have access to a career coach feels supportive also.

    Great

I took the Software Engineer Career track at Springboard. It dives into detail with each topic and walks through each step with you, You also get a 1 on 1 mentor that you get to get on a call with each week if you have any questions or if you need any help. Overall Springboard was a great experience for me because I gained more skills with the projects I have made and now am more confident in my job search.

    Good bootcamp

The way the program is structured is great and they give you many opportunities to complete projects that can be featured on a portfolio and an opportunity to work with a real client before diving into a new job. The biggest downside is that it’s self paced so at times, when life can get busy, it can be difficult to keep up. Otherwise, all the mentors are great and its nice to be able to get real world experience.

    Great Full-Stack Curriculum

I recently completed the software engineering career track, and it was a very pleasant experience. My mentor was very knowledgable in the field and answered any technical questions that I may have. The career coaches were supported and gave helpful tips into the job search. Parts of the curriculum was out-of-date but it was still very insightful knowledge for software development

Good overall, but be on top of things

I was switching from Graphic Design and Teaching to UX/UI and while I didn’t need another degree, I did need to learn UX/UI from industry professionals and get some portfolio work.
