I completed the Springboard Cybersecurity Bootcamp and found it to be a comprehensive, well-structured, and career-oriented program that effectively bridges foundational knowledge with hands-on technical skills. The curriculum covers essential domains including cybersecurity fundamentals, network security, threat detection, cryptography, security operations, and risk assessment, which provided a strong base for real-world security work.One of the biggest strengths of this bootcamp is the project-based learning model. Through multiple real-world simulations — including a full penetration testing capstone — I was able to apply tools and methods used by professionals in the field. This practical experience boosted both my confidence and portfolio, making it easier to speak to technical skills during interviews.The mentor support was a standout feature. I had a truly positive experience with the Cybersecurity course I completed at Springboard. The curriculum was clear and well-structured, and I found the learning process to be highly engaging. The Coaches and support team were always willing to provide guidance and assistance whenever needed, which made the experience even more valuable.In particular, my mentor was exceptionally supportive—always responsive and quick to address any questions or challenges I encountered. If you're able to commit time and effort, this boot camp can provide a solid and comprehensive introduction to the tech field, opening new career opportunities.

Cybersecurity Career Track: One of the best benefits of Springboard was the structure that it provided me. I was sorely lacking discipline on in my self-study process, so I reviewed this program, and had a great feeling. Fast forward today, and I have walked from Springboard more confident, well informed, and hopeful. The courses, and labs were plentiful in information, and gave you direct experience with the Cybersecurity world. The support service was quick, flexible, and understanding. The my mentor was the difference was patient, kind, and super encouraging. One of a kind. One piece of feedback I'd offer is to change the comptia sec+ section to Professor Messer. Unfortunately, the LinkedIn learning version of the comptia training was unengaging. Overall, highly experience here. 

This school not only provided me with the foundation and clarity within, but also an inspired passion for CyberSecurity. The program is a true investment in knowledge and one that pays lifelong dividends. I recommend this course to anyone who is looking to get into the tech industry.

The course covers all the fundamentals necessary to excel into the CompTIA Security + standards for the exam. Covering all the simulated tools necessary to perform passive and active pentesting and gauging active duties within security posture. Overall the support from mentors, career counselors, and overall support from the advisory team is highly regarded. 

Right when you sign up for that $12,355 loan, they mention that 80% of cybersecurity jobs require a Bachelor’s degree. You pay for labs that are outdated, not hands on, and study Sec+ material that is very outdated as well. The COMPTIA website has much cheaper options and it’s all updated information from the Cybersecurity community. Tryhackme.com is also $10 a month with real rooms created by coders, programmers and people who are actually in that field not looking for a quick cash grab from their credit unions. Keep in mind, you miss one coach call and they never contact you again. Once you sign up, they never contact you again. They just need you to hit that button and be approved for that loan. You’re on your own from there. Don’t waste your time, energy, money and most of all your hope for a better career.

 Springboard cybersecurity career track program offers flexibility and accessibility, potentially leading to faster career advancement and higher earning potential. However, it also requires self-discipline. may lack the in-person support and networking opportunities of traditional learning.

This course has a very well-planned curriculum has many industry learned instructors.
There are many resources from peer and mentor support to career coaches and student services to help every step of the way.
The labs, projects, and papers are as close as you can get to the real-world experience.
Pivoting into cybersecurity from a different occupation, and juggling a part-time job and family, I wasn't prepared for the intensity of the course.  Six months is just not long enough to fully absorb the contents for someone new to the field.  

Springboard was amazing. It taught me so much in terms of hands on projects to give me real life experience into what its like working in the Cybersecurity field. My mentor was also amazing and was with me every step of the way. I highly recommend Springboard .

This program is self-driven, and really only for the dedicated student who is motivated to accomplish things on their own. While I received assistance and input from my mentor, there was really very little other guidance through the program. The resources utilized for the curriculum are reasonable... but some were less than exemplary. Some of the reference materials are from providers in the industry and so offer information primarily about the products that they offer rather than an overall experience. I feel that the time spent moving through the curriculum was a great deal higher than the estimates and averages offered by the program. Reading the articles and watching the videos, while taking notes on the information, was much more time consuming than expected. I feel like I learned a lot... about cybersecurity and about myself through this course. 

Avoid Springboard at all costs. This company is a complete scam. The Head of Admissions, Justin, will charm you into signing up, but once you’re in, communication is nonexistent. You’re left dealing with unhelpful Zendesk employees who take forever to respond with vague, useless answers—if they even bother to get back to you at all.I requested a refund after my disastrous experience, and it was a nightmare. First, they claimed it would take 45 days. When the time passed, they blamed a “glitch” and asked me to wait another 3-10 days—only to ultimately deny the refund altogether. Now I’m involving my bank to resolve this mess.The content they charge $8-10k for is laughable—completely outdated and freely available online. Their so-called “mentors” and “career counselors” are unprofessional and unhelpful, constantly rescheduling and offering useless advice like suggesting entry-level IT Help Desk jobs. You’d be better off watching free Professor Messer videos and using LinkedIn Learning.Their “labs,” which they market as exclusive, are actually from INFOSEC and can be purchased directly for around $100. Don’t waste your time, money, or energy on this fraudulent company.

Springboard is an excellent provider of the Cybersecurity bootcamp. It gives all the tools, information, and support necessary to pass the Security+ exam. The coursework is self-guided, allowing you to go at your own pace. And the coaches are always available to assist with any speed bumps you may encounter. 

It was overall a good experience. I learned a lot from the program. You work at your own pace which was a big help. I liked all the labs that were provided, it gave us hands on experience in the topics we were covering. I was able to take the knowledge I learned from the course and get my CompTIA Security+ certification. 

I really appreciated the thoughtful structure of the program. The support system was excellent, including mentors, advisors, coaches, and peers. While it was a lot to absorb, with dedication and a well-planned schedule, achieving the desired outcome is entirely possible.

I had a limited background in tech when I started the intense bootcamp with Springboard. I had many recourses and a great team available to utilize through the program and PASSED the CompTIA Security+ exam on my first try. It prepared me well! Furthermore, being new to the field the job guarantee and career coaching through the job search was very appealing.

Career Coaching: The career calls and coaches were well-informed and dedicated. They genuinely want to help students succeed and are passionate about their roles.

Course Structure: The structured course kept me accountable, and I don’t think I would have pushed myself as hard without it.

Cons:

Curriculum: Some areas of the curriculum felt lacking in hands-on experience. While helpful, it was sometimes too theoretical to fully prepare for the job market.

Outdated Technology in Labs: The live labs can feel outdated, which makes practicing with current tech a challenge.

Certification Timing: Not receiving the CompTIA Security+ certificate until the end made it hard to fully grasp certain concepts during the modules.

Content Availability: Some of the material is freely available online (like on YouTube). This approach might save the bootcamp money on instructors but feels less robust for students.

Isolation & Limited Cohort Interaction: There’s minimal interaction with other cohorts, and the Slack channel is fairly quiet, which can feel isolating.

Inconvenient Timing for Events: Many events and office hours favor early mornings, making it challenging for those working a 9-5 job alongside the bootcamp.
