The bootcamp is well packed with the necessary content that is needed for software development. The way the instructor handles the class is good. The slides, activities, assessment are all well structured for students to understand easily and enables to follow up. Very good for coding beginner
I've completed the initial module at Sigma School, focusing on CSS, HTML, and JS fundamentals. The module provided clear instructions and was highly informative, making it especially beneficial for coding beginners. Flexible Part-time Course
Having enrolled at Sigma School as a part-time student, it has offered me great flexibility whilst working full-time. The online live sessions helped in guiding me through my questions and doubts, the instructors are more than friendly to answer your questions. They also have a discord server, you will join a Web Dev community where you can get your coding questions answered.

No regret from learning coding

Reckless startup without proper learning management and student support!
The online learning system that they’ve implemented last year was a well-created and organised but the involvement of the educators was a total disaster! There was no assignment and assessment feedbacks from the coaches (even though promised by the founder himself that there’ll be changes made on certain issues raised but nothing ever materialised). Even post-completion of the syllabus, I had to request for a certificate to be issued as there was no one responsible for tracking students’...The online learning system that they’ve implemented last year was a well-created and organised but the involvement of the educators was a total disaster! There was no assignment and assessment feedbacks from the coaches (even though promised by the founder himself that there’ll be changes made on certain issues raised but nothing ever materialised). Even post-completion of the syllabus, I had to request for a certificate to be issued as there was no one responsible for tracking students’ progress and even when prompted, the person mentioned that a certificate wasn’t important. Also the final nail in the coffin was their promise to provide graduates with job search support and placements but there was nothing done even when approached regarding this matter. At the end of the day, students will have to find jobs or internships themselves so if you’re deciding to sign up for this school, please head to another institution if you do not intend to end up being disappointed. Their motto of “get a job or 100% free” is purely a marketing gimmick. This startup was built without any prior planning, organisation and responsibility, but a quick-profit scheme! We continuously strive to provide an effective and engaging learning environment for our students.
- Second, we understand your concerns regarding educator involvement and assignment feedback. To enhance this, we have implemented a process where students can request project reviews through our Discord channel.
- Additionally, our new curriculum has included a form that you need to fill up to track your progress on. We understand the challenges brought by these changes and are committed to help our support of the transition to the new curriculum.
- Moreover, regarding the certificates, it’s important to clarify that they are awarded upon successfully passing our assessments and promotional tests. We recognize that our revised progress tracking system has affected some of our students from our earlier batches, and we are working diligently to ensure help students transition in the future.
- For the job support feedback, it is important to take note that we offer job support once a student has completed all four modules by passing the promotional tests and assignments. Once a student graduates, we work closely with them to offer job support such as resume review, interview preparation and passing the resumes to our hiring partner.
- To add on, in Sigma School, our mission is to make quality education affordable, aiming to help individuals to secure employment without huge financial commitment. Our changes to the curriculum is proof to our commitment of improving the quality of our education.
