I just joined Sigma schools full stack software development bootcamp a few days ago. Overall it has been a great experience so far! The instructors do a good job in simplifying technical terminology so that it's easy for people who have no prior experience/knowledge in coding to understand. The curriculum is structured neatly with lots of practical hands on coding for you to put into practice what you learned from the classes. As it is a bootcamp, it is fast paced and requires you to try and figure out problems on your own first before seeking assistance. I was ignorant of the diversity and complexity of programming until I came across Sigma School. The curriculum is progress according to the programmer pace, whatsmore, it is easily understood and encourage questions and hands-on. The people are helpful and nice, and the community is a friendly space where question of both simple and complex are laid out and anyone could answer anonymously which i believe is more effective than physical(because, people are less restraint when anonymous). Also, it feels less isolated when working on a question as it feels like we are working with people all over the world instead. Sigma schools allows for people to grow exponentially for those who work hard but also relaxing for those who want to improve and take their time or for reason like they have school and projects ongoing. they provide relevant coding material and also support for the student to help them meet their end goal.the bootcamp included live lesson and also onsite support for student when they face difficulty.you can always reached out to them when you have some of the coding problem cant solve by yourself. there is also a student support group, student can discuss their problem there as well.overall ,the learning experience in sigma school is very good. I enrolled in Sigma School's online, part-time bootcamp as I wanted a structured and flexible way of learning how to code while working at the same time. The school has laid down the necessary tools for your success - knowledgeable instructors, easy to understand and entertaining lessons, sufficient exercises and projects to build so we can apply what has been learnt. They provide a safe space for learning as well - the warm community is supportive and encouraging, you won't feel shy to reach for help and no question is too small to ask. Currently a student at Sigma School, I must say, I am truly impressed with the service and education provided.

Compared to learning other sources of coding, the modules provided by Sigma School is more structured and direct. And with the completion of each topic, there are challenges and practices that help cement the lesson into my head.

What's even more better, they direct you to PROPER non-bombastic references for a much more in depth understanding of the lesson, which i feel eliminates the need to go around researching like a headless chicken.

Looking how much i progress with the modules and workshops provided, i have no doubt that ill reach my goal in no time. Read less

I'm new to coding, first I felt that IT is much more difficult than what I thing before I start my learning. But after joining Sigma Schools, all the resources  they provided, instructor, class and learning material makes me feel that coding is not really that hard as I think. People are very helpful to each other to learn and improve together.

The full-time bootcamp course is 4-months-long with a different module being taught every month. Each module is compact with basic need-to-know topics & lessons, so you'll have to do some self-study if you want to know more about a particular topic/lesson. Classes are fairly engaging and students are encouraged to participate in the coding challenges and/or code-along exercises to further your own understanding of each lesson. No, this is not endorsed or a paid review. No, I was not pressured into writing this. And, no. I had no diploma or degree to begin with. What I wrote here is as honest as I could be.

I enrolled in their course as a full-time student back in January with a focus in their Complete Software Development Programme (CSDP) curriculum. If you have no experiences in bootcamps, one way I can describe is that it's an accelerated learning journey.

You will need to carry your own weight throughout this course. I am not kidding that I had to code 5-6 hours after the class ends so I can catch up to the upcoming lessons. But along the way, it taught me how it's like to be a software developer --  You will struggle (that's a given in this industry) and you will feel lost. But along the way you will pick up the skills required to debug and resolve errors on your own.

I am giving this review 5 stars because it helped me achieve what I wanted -- getting that software dev job which is the point of this bootcamp. I have no tertiary education background at all and I wanted to get a job in a field where the norm is having a computer science degree or an IT programmer diploma. The project-based lessons provided had helped me become better equipped to enter this industry and I can't wait to start my next chapter in my career.

Shoutout to my instructor MJ for being able to always answer my questions. Even though I am an online student of the bootcamp, I still have some sense of participation in the class. I was with zero coding experience, looking forward to start a career in tech. Started joining this boot camp 2  months ago, from not knowing any line of  coding, to able to create my own web application. I would say that so far, my overall experience was great. They have good friendly and very supportive community. I got all the supports and resources that i need as they do have a very responsive support team of experienced developers. Most importantly, the learning experience was smooth, well structured curriculum that are easy to follow and digest. I able to understand complex concepts step by step. The highlight of the bootcamp was undeniably the instructor, who brought a commendable level of expertise and enthusiasm to the learning environment.

If you would like to have a good kickstart on what development is all about and you wish to explore more to give you a strong foundation, do check out this school! The modules are pretty easy to catch up and it gives you an explanation that is easy to understand of the core concepts. Understanding the base knowledge will help you to explore more on about what web development has to offer. The instructors have been incredibly friendly, patient, and supportive throughout this 3-month coding bootcamp. Coming into this with zero coding experience, I was honestly nervous and unsure if I could keep up. But thanks to their constant guidance, encouragement, and clear explanations, I was able to learn step-by-step and eventually build my very own full-stack application, something I never imagined doing in such a short time.



They never hesitated to answer questions, no matter how basic they were, and always made sure everyone was on the same page. Their willingness to stay back, troubleshoot our issues, and offer individual feedback made a big difference in my learning experience. What really stood out to me was how they created a safe and motivating environment where we were not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them.



This bootcamp has not only taught me technical skills but also helped me build confidence in problem-solving, collaboration, and adapting to new challenges.
