In December 2022, I began my coding journey at Sigma School, and within a year, I successfully transitioned from engineering to technology. The bootcamp classes were excellent, and the teachers were incredibly helpful. After five months of self-learning through the bootcamp, I applied for a six-month internship to gain work experience as a developer starting May 2023 until mid November 2023. The curriculum provided the necessary skills and knowledge, aligning perfectly with the job requirements.

Now, I'm already secured a job as software developer, and I owe a lot to the bootcamp. It not only taught me coding but also how to solve problems and keep learning. I found Sigma school while looking for bootcamps, there aren't a lot out there that are affordable but their pricing is very appealing so I thought I'd give it a try. I was still sceptical at first but after three months I went from no coding experience to building my own web app to clone Spotify playlists and now I've landed an internship. I highly recommend the full-time bootcamp, daily classes every morning + mentors that can help you prepare for job interviews and how to write your resume. The course doesn't waste time and teaches you a lot of the important things you'd need to get started in both front-end and back-end. I came across Sigma School when I was in my final semester of university. I've always felt that my programming skills weren't enough for me to land a job after I graduated and therefore was trying to upskill myself through online courses such as YouTube tutorials, Udemy courses, etc. However, throughout my self-taught journey, there were times when I felt demotivated and difficult to keep myself accountable all the time. Plus, I'm not sure when I'll be ready to apply for jobs as there was no guidance and insights from industry experts.

This bootcamp is definitely intensive but absolutely worth it, why? Because during the bootcamp you have tons of hand-on project for you to work on, as the saying goes practice makes perfect. while studying here at sigma school i had no issues with my learning experience due to the amazing instructor who really helped me understand the lessons in detail and helped us with debugging in the case that we were struggling stuck on any bugs. the lessons mostly use real life use case scenarios and ways to learn them quickly without overloading your brain. I just joined Sigma schools full stack software development bootcamp a few days ago. Overall it has been a great experience so far! The instructors do a good job in simplifying technical terminology so that it's easy for people who have no prior experience/knowledge in coding to understand. The curriculum is structured neatly with lots of practical hands on coding for you to put into practice what you learned from the classes. As it is a bootcamp, it is fast paced and requires you to try and figure out problems on your own first before seeking assistance. I was ignorant of the diversity and complexity of programming until I came across Sigma School. The curriculum is progress according to the programmer pace, whatsmore, it is easily understood and encourage questions and hands-on. The people are helpful and nice, and the community is a friendly space where question of both simple and complex are laid out and anyone could answer anonymously which i believe is more effective than physical(because, people are less restraint when anonymous). Also, it feels less isolated when working on a question as it feels like we are working with people all over the world instead. Sigma schools allows for people to grow exponentially for those who work hard but also relaxing for those who want to improve and take their time or for reason like they have school and projects ongoing.
