SheCodes
SheCodes is a technical skill training provider for women offering online, hands-on coding workshops and a self-paced Professional Developer Bootcamp. The workshops and bootcamp are flexible and designed to fit around a student’s schedule, moving away from traditional, rigid learning methods. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, OOP, AI, and more. The workshops cover how to effectively communicate with developers, how to become a front end developer, advanced Python skills, and how to break into tech. Students learn through bite-size lessons followed by practical challenges to reinforce their learning. Each week, professional developers review homework assignments. At the end of each workshop, students will build real-life projects like websites and web applications to add to their professional portfolio and impress future employers.
All of SheCodes workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Women of any age are welcome to enroll. There are various packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
At SheCodes, students have access to an online community of 200,000 women technologists. Students who complete the Professional Developer Bootcamp will receive a Verified Diploma upon graduation.

Great for beginners
I find it difficult to learn technical things just by learning the theory, but SheCodes was the perfect balance of theory and hands-on practice, which made me feel like I actually learned and understood the basics. I can now use that knowledge next time I work with others in the tech industry to better understand their work or if I decide to take it further and enroll in more advanced courses to do coding myself. I also work with C ++ and Python, but no course has attracted me as much as this one, so I can sit at a desk for hours and just learn and do projects. The most amazing teacher in the world teaches here so that in addition to answering all the questions, he also reviewed my project without sending it to him and motivated me to continue. And when I put my certificate...I can definitely say that I spent the best and most wonderful period of my life on this platform. It's incredibly fantastic. I've completed the basics course. They had a black Friday special and I saw advertisements everywhere in my social media accounts, such as youtube, Instagram, Facebook, etc. They offered the pro course for $944. I got charged $1,092.87. I reached out to customer service as soon as I found out. They refuse to reimburse the difference. That just tells you where their mindset is at. Shecodes basics highly recommended
Great course to follow even if your popping in and out. Lessons have enough repetition to embed knowledge but not too much to become confusing. The challenges are also clever that they have elements that haven’t been covered fully but link very closely with what has been taught. Really positive and enjoyable
