SheCodes has been great so far and i am enjoying learning something new each and everyday, knowing that the skill and knowlegde that I will gain from SheCodes will help me in the near future. I definitely recommend this workshop to young girls like me.

I had an incredible experience with SheCodes workshop! The program provided a dynamic learning environment, making coding accessible and enjoyable for beginners like me. The hands-on projects and engaging instructors helped demystify coding, empowering me with valuable skills. SheCodes is a game-changer for anyone looking to enter the world of coding with confidence.

A deeply disappointing experience. After having a positive experience with their introductory SheCodes basic course. I took the plunge into the Shecodes Max course, as a step towards changing career and have been thinking about a career, given the course description, and outlines that they provide support and teaching enabling people to develop and learn these skills it sounded like a great option to assist with this transition.The facts:
The course outlines 24/7 chat support - This is false, the company uses a Slack channel with 2 technicians who are responsible for supposedly answering 100's of students' questions and they fail to deliver, understandably.
Shecodes max states Priority support - This is false. The responses to questions come hours and days later - this is really frustrating when you are trying to learn and complete the projects and homework in a timely manner, especially with deadlines to complete work.
The responses to the questions are basic responses that offer no explanations or any support on how to understand the content. So if like me you get stuck trying to understand the confusing video explanations then be prepared to struggle your way through, referencing books from the library and other coding YouTube channels.In fact, it is often that the technicians respond with the following "Can you post your code here" Then they follow up with posting code back to you for you to copy and paste without explaining or supporting you in understanding.
Homework reviews/Project reviews - False. You post a link to your solution and it is either accepted or declined for you to review it. No feedback is given to help you improve your coding or for you to understand where you are on your journey. The whole course feels very automated, impersonal and unsupportive.
Around 5 hours per week of work - False. I spent around 5-10 hours per day sometimes 7 days a week on 9 weeks of struggling through with zero support.The video format is very confusing with Tutor Matt in the videos appearing as if he himself is learning on the fly and he often backtracks in the videos which leaves you completely confused. 

 Even though it says videos are updated- False. The videos are mostly dated to 2015, they add some updates to text but not to the actual videos, so I found the code to be outdated to what is currently being taught and confusing as a learner.

 The course is set up with solution videos where you view the answer and source code and often in the course you end up copying this code and pasting it and it is encouraged in the Slack forum, with everyone ending up with almost the same code.I really wanted to understand what to do in this course and feel a sense of achievement and confidence knowing I had learnt something new and that I was working towards something. Instead, I was left alone to struggle and given very invalidating and patronising responses from the “Customer Success Team🤩💩” who often use happy happy smiling emojis and hearts whenever they conversate with you, and it feels like you are speaking with a possessed A.I, not a human being. E.g“ Hey my arm just fell off and I am really struggling “The customer success team enters “ Hey 😍❤️😍💝, why don't you just skip around the playground while eating ice cream, have a great week!!!!” 🤮🤮🤢😤😱😱In the end, I asked for a refund as I was not getting the help or support and I knew I could not struggle through an 8-month course alone in this way when they have failed to deliver the service requirements as outlined in the programme highlights.  and I was hit with SURPRISE” Didn't you read our tiny small print on the website that says “policy” Well we don't do refunds!
(I will add that the company failed to draw your attention to this policy before taking your payment)
 They did not offer anything resolutory and we were going back and forth. I then posted “I am waiting for my refund” in the public chat and then they removed me from the Slack channel  (which is supposed to be a part of the course features)The back and forth of emails continued with the team holding steadfast to not acknowledging any of my concerns or attempting to understand in any shape or form my perspective.I will be going through my bank to get my full course fees returned to me as the company has not delivered on its course-outlined services.The company have refunded me a partial payment and had the audacity to say they will keep a service fee and fees for a course I have not been able to complete due to the struggles as outlined. Anything short of full fees returned is less than acceptable in this instance as the company have failed to deliver what it says on the website and on top of that delivered what can only be described as a “gaslighting” form of customer success 💩🤩I find this company's practices to be unethical and not adhering to basic human and consumer rights. They want to shut down and silence anyone who raises concerns about their service practices. I do not recommend or endorse this company in any way.I am sure they will respond in their traditional fashion to this review. 🧐

I love the boot camp training. I am learning a lot as a beginner. This has been easy for me to finish per week earlier than the deadline and the deadline makes me work harder. I am excited to apply everything I learn and hopefully be a successful web developer someday.Thank you SheCodes for this opportunity.

I was intimidated by the complexities of coding languages and unsure if I would be able to understand the basic concept but at this point, I can proudly say that I have  gained a solid foundation and genuine passion for coding by the help of Matt Delac, the SheCodes foundation and my own determination.I can use HTML , CSS and JavaScript languages as well.SheCodes is the best place to begin your coding journey. It's a friendly environment which enables you to learn at your own pace. You'll gain hands-on experiences with the weekly homework and practicals after each lesson.Beyond the technical skills, the course also taught me invaluable soft skills such as critical thinking, paying attention to details and perseverance. I learned to approach complex coding challenges with a systematic mindset and to embrace failure as an opportunity for growth. These skills will undoubtedly benefit me in my future endeavors, both in the coding field and in life in general.To anyone considering a coding journey, SheCodes is the right place.JOIN NOW!

I love SheCodes!! Its beginner-friendly and I enjoyed the workshop a lot! The lessons are not intimidating as it it well-discussed. The team also is very approachable and gives prompt response on every inquiry!

Мне все понравилось, но это немного сложно, потому что я не очень хорошо понимаю английский. В общем, для людей, знающих язык, я бы предпочел эти курсы. Я очень благодарна за возможность учиться здесь. Это мое абсолютное мнение, и я только сейчас прохожу курс, еще не закончил. Конечно, это произойдет, но самое главное – научиться.

This project brought me to amazing Codes world! such important thing - it was interesting to learn and clear to understand! I wasn´´t sure I can do it.. but now I believe in myself

The basics workshop was very informative, thorough, and quite enjoyable. I am confident in creating basic web pages using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. I love that we utilize tools that are used by professionals in web development. The plus workshop is excellent and has greatly improved my coding skills.I look forward to taking future workshops with SheCodes to further my knowledge in front-end development and immensely look forward to eventually changing careers. 😁 

I just loved SheCodes! Coding feels so fun and understandable. Never thought I would be enjoying coding before. But SheCodes has changed everything😃It is easy to combine study at SheCodes with your current job, because the workshops do not tight to a specific time, you just follow homework dedline and you do your study when you have free time and when it is convinient for you.

Thanks a lot to the SheCodes team for having the opportunity to learn to code.  I think these are the best courses for women.  I definitely recommend👍🥹☺️

I'm a huge fan of learning HTML, CSS, and JS with SheCodes. There are many great opportunities to apply this knowledge in my work and life. SheCodes really helps to get a new profession. I love the technique of Matt Delac. He introduces his coding experiences easily and naturally. I'm studying by doing my own project. It's amazing! Yes, I do many mistakes and have to look for my own decision. But I always have support from other students and SheCodes managers in the chat. Even I can schedule a call with Matt Delac if I'll need it.Long story short, I recommend SheCodes for all the women who made the decision to become front-end developers and don't know how to make the first step.

I really liked the course. Short and clear videos made learning enjoyable, constant support helped to believe that everything would work out. I was beyond lucky to land a job as a product owner in tech without any prio tech knowledge. However, understanding my product and making decisions have been a big challenge for me until I enrolled into SheCodes Plus and got a hands-on experience into what coding is all about. Since then, I understand my developer team much better, I communicate on a deeper technical level and I get things done with a better precision, deeper knowledge but most importantly - with a higher confidence in my skills and my decisions. "Another one bites the dust". I am learning quite a lot. This one was challenging but amazing. I really feel like I can do things on my own already. So far sheCodes has really helped my development path. I am more obsessed with JS than ever before. I am ready for the next one. sheCodes React here I come.

This workshop was definitely very enjoyable. If you think that HTML and CSS were already fun and amazing, this SheCodes Plus workshop will take you on a joyride as it teaches you more JavaScript, Hosting, and API. Be ready to get obsessed with the power of coding.

SheCodes Plus was a beautiful challenge. There were ups and down in trying to understand Javacript but the videos, the Slack channel and the challenges really help develop the skill the right way. The final project it is a great way to really put everything together and test your mindset and skills. I couldn't recommend it more.
