As a graduate of the Back-End Bootcamp with Python, SQL, and DevOps, I can confidently say that Nucamp excels in delivering the fundamentals of the main back-end development technologies, making any graduate of the program well-equipped to take on the challenges of an entry-level role in the industry. The structure of the courses is easy to follow, and the combination of exercises and instruction, along with a weekly workshop, is perfect for gaining traction quickly in the age of remote-first learning. That being said, the help of the instructors is always there when you need it, but the online modules are so thorough that I rarely found myself asking for it. If you are not a do-it-100%-yourself learner, Nucamp may be the cheapest yet most corporate culture simulating and personable bootcamp you may find. The course video and text content is in the process of being updated to support the latest software versions. So, some trial and error is required to get node working outside of the instructions. Though not supported, Linux users can piece together instructions from Windows and MacOS to do it on Linux. Use nvm to install node. Recommended.  Read less

I chose this course because of the reviews and the content provided. They did not disappointment. The instructors were a big help as they are very knowledgeable in the field which what they taught. You can also request help on the discord channel for whichever course you are in. They respond really quick and honestly helped me get through a lot of problems I ran into. This bootcamp is amazing I never thought I would be able to learn Web Development in such a short amount of time. I recommend for full time workers to set time aside to do the work and also look into whatever you are learning on the web as there is so much information. I can honestly say reading the documentation for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, React Nativ now I can understand what I am looking for and put it to good use. I tried to learn on my own for the past year and Nucamp has helped me to understand in such short amount of time. I highly recommend it to my family and friends, it's a good skill to have. Read less

the affordability and flexibility were my greatest decision factors. I appreciate how helpful the staff was to accommodate my particular needs as I had attempted bootcampa before but due to circumstances ended up leaving because I couldbt be as present at certain times as required. I felt my teachers were invested in us as a cohort and many took time to provide extra support as needed through the courses.

The curse it self maybe ok at most very low quality of material...you learn in general some subject they just give you code to run step by step but no one in the hole class (and i was in many) can write the code himself if he wanted...no one cares if you finish or not if you understand or not.
its very bad they have so many good reviews i wonder how many of the is by any one that became a true programmer... 
btw i was one of the best in the class always helped everybody else so don't think i writing this out of frustration.
i only think its not fair they are representing the curse the way they do.

After decades as a curious hobbyist coder, and a few years as a serious self-learning developer hopeful, I was stuck. I found Nucamp to be just what I was looking for. Affordable. Knowledgable instructors eager to lavish their time on you if you need it, but also nudging you first to learn how to figure things out on your own. A friendly and active community that you can keep after the camp is over. I was familiar with all the technologies we covered before I came to the camp. What nucamp provided was someone else's hard deadline, live human assistance, a team, and most importantly for me, the opportunity to help someone else work through their code. I think I learned the most there. 

No graduate is ready for their job as they walk across the stage to receive their diploma. But hopefully they have been given the tools and skills necessary to become so and continue to grow into their field.

Nucamp is great option for learning core concepts of front-end (I cannot speak to the back-end), and gets you hands on experience with projects, challenges, and teamwork. I enrolled because I was look for an affordable, flexible program that guided through material with the help of a dedicated team and instructor, and I found that in Nucamp. The instructors are very kind, knowledgeable, and ready to help whenever you need.

My primary criticism is for the video material within the curriculum, as I feel it moves relatively quickly without forcing you to spend time with the implementing the concepts. However, an ambition to spend lots of time learning on your own will solve this problem. Also, I wish the program would have compelled me to use GitHub more. It's a powerful tool that is used by many companies, and it would be very helpful to have more training in it.

Overall, my experience has been very positive, and I would recommend Nucamp to anybody looking for a flexible and afforable bootcamp. Read less

I have been learning to code on the side and have made some projects. I was looking to get certified and figured I might learn a lot more from attending this bootcamp. This was the right decision for me because I am back on the same path I wanted to finish in the first place.    Nucamp web development fundamentals coding bootcamp is really great choice for people who do not know anything about coding and just starting this path. They have very simple teaching methods with easy to understand learning lectures and workshops so you start your coding journey with excitement.
   However more deep you dive into it you feel like you getting something big and heavy to digest and it is Javascript . It is difficult language to start with and those basics with tons of materials in short amount of time (2 weeks) look like in my opinion not enough to understand it well. They get you to the right way to get into coding world but you surely need longer hours of practice and doing projects on your own beside that curriculum to feel comfortable with language.

Start with the pre-course work to ensure you are comfortable with the foundational concepts before starting the Bootcamp. Also, make use of all the resources provided and be open to learning from your peers and instructors. In terms of tuition is a concern, NuCamp offers installment payment, especially for early bird (discount) registration you may save a thousand dollars for a complete course. Level up my confidence to build and create a website.
Overall, I believe the NuCamp's Bootcamp program provides a fantastic opportunity to learn web development skills and is worth the investment.
