    Attending the full stack development bootcamp at MAX was one of the best decisions I've ever made. They truly want you to succeed and will do whatever is necessary to assist you. Greg was an amazing instructor and always has a way of making things understandable. . He never let anyone fall behind. I can't thank Annette enough for everything she does with the career coaching and helping with your job search.  I not only learned to code but learned about my strengths and how to present myself to employers. I have to give thanks to the people behind the scenes as well like Kevin and Kim. They were always encouraging and there to help. 
    This is not an easy bootcamp. It takes effort and dedication but you can do it. Attending MAX has given me an opportunity that I never thought was possible. If you're on the fence about attending, I highly recommend you reach out to them for a visit or conversation. I am so thankful I did.

I think this program was fantastic, especially through the hard work and dedication of the instructors. I understand it's not easy having to invent a whole new style of learning to accommodate for the virtual environment, and the instructors had shown that they were committed to making sure all of us students were understanding the material and how it would benefit us in our careers, as well as demonstrating what it looks like to be truly committed to excellence. As someone who isn't a business analyst, I still found the course very beneficial, and would recommend it to anyone in or looking to get into the IT field.  Read less

I had a really great experience in the maximum coding boot camp at Max Technical Training. Max’s instructors have a wealth knowledge and go way beyond the classroom to help and encourage. The staff at Max are always around providing snacks, coffee, and a listening ear! 
 Learning to program was very difficult, but I persevered and didn’t give up!  I entered with zero programming knowledge, and I feel confident that I will succeed in my new position as an RPA Developer. I was offered a position only 3 weeks after graduating!

The ITBA Bootcamp by MAX Technical Training will equip you with all the skills you need to be a Business Analyst. As someone who has previously help positions in business analysis, the course was a great way to supplement real-world experience with formal training. In some ways you can't be on the job learning. What I've found though, is sometimes you don't get the "basics". And you can't build a house with out a foundation. This 9-week bootcamp will give you that foundation. Read less

Over 13 weeks we learned a very wide array of technologies and used about half of them in our Capstone project. This program is for those with a shallow depth of knowledge in technologies or for individuals who have never written a line of code in their life! If you apply yourself, anyone can pass this bootcamp with flying colors. While it is not required, I advise you to put your full attention into your studies while here. Even one hour an evening, and 2 hours of review on the weekend will make your life MUCH easier. If there was one thing that I would change it would be to enforce homework a little more to increase the volume of what we can cover in class. If the majority of the class did not do their homework, those who did put in that extra time had to then spend an additional 2 hours doing review work instead of learning more. With that being said I give MAX a 5/5 if you are looking to start your career in the Software Development world. Read less

Undeniably "Life Changing"!  I had my doubts that I could get through this boot camp and become a software developer.  My instructor Greg was right there the entire course encouraging me and assuring me that I could do it!  And I did it!  The entire MAX staff truly do care about every student's success throughout the program and beyond.  My career coach Annette teaches and guides every student as they embark on beginning their new career.  I am so thankful I chose MAX to gain the courage, knowledge and skills I needed to completely change the path of my life! Greetings, I am Jeffrey, a MTT graduate who has successfully and enthusiastically completed the Full-Time Coding Boot camp. I am writing this after having just accepted a job offer by an amazing organization with great values and who treats their teammates well. For me, Max was an outstanding boot camp, although I had my reservations for attending a boot camp as I had very little information going into it, and with a loan that I was not sure I would be able to handle if this turned out to be a hoax, I am SO glad, grateful, proud, and delighted that I took that chance and signed up for the boot camp. It has given me a life-changing career, and an opportunity for immense growth. I am proud to call myself a graduate of MAX Technical Training, and absolutely encourage you to do the same. The instructors were well versed in the technologies and courses taught, and were able to teach them in a way where I and my cohort were able to understand and implement into future projects throughout the boot camp. Greg Doud was our teacher and is very smart, compassionate, and helpful when you needed assistance. Annette our careers coach, taught us all we needed to know when it came to understanding our strengths and weaknesses, an effective job search, and considered us as her children and stuck by our sides until we got the job offer we were working so hard for. Several more admirable staff to mention are, Kelsey Apple for our Scrum course, Mike Smith for our Azure course, Denise Bartick the Director who supported us all the way and made all of this possible, Kevin Newkirk who was there from the beginning to get us in, Kim Peace our Administrator who made sure we had our coursework for each topic, and the all the rest of the staff who worked behind the scenes to make all of this possible, as well. I want to thank you for your dedication and help throughout the boot camp. To those who are pondering on joining a boot camp to get into Software Development, I highly recommend MAX Technical Training as the boot camp to go to, you will not be disappointed! I guarantee it. I cannot say enough good things about this course and school. The course material, delivery,  and pace were top-notch but are a distant second to the staff.  The level of enthusiasm and devotion to your success is like nothing I have experienced.

Enrolling in MAX Technical Training Java boot camp in 2018 is one of my best career decisions. MAX helped me learn web development skills I needed to take my career to the next level. As an alumna, I appreciate the support Annette, their Career Manager, gives me. Her coaching helped think through the career move I just made. She connected me to I company that is an excellent fit for me. 

If I were you, I’d ask what sets MAX a part from others. A big one for me is they have a part time program and a full time one. I didn’t want to quit my job. I was doing some database and Java Swing programming. I needed web development skills to advance my career. I think the part time pace is better. You have the time to let the information sink in and use techniques like spaced repetition to enhance your learning. 

Another big factor for me is MAX is well established in Cincinnati. Their first boot camp was in 2012. Tech Elevator, for example, entered the Cincinnati market in 2017. For me, that translated to fewer alumni to connect with and less of a pulse on the Cincinnati market.

One last thing that sets MAX apart: on top of the technical and interview prep curriculum, they teach SCRUM. Many tech companies use this project management framework. Knowing the basics made my transition to my post-boot camp job smoother. Read less

I have been in Hospitality industry for past 14 yrs. The reason to join MAX was to add more skills of the Technology world which I can implement to my current career. It is a great course with hands on teaching by the industries top experience teachers like Greg and Sean. It was very challenging in first few weeks due to some language barrier since English is my secondary language but the MAX team had always been supporting and motivating at every level I had felt low. Kevin had been very kind and understanding when it comes to answering all the concerns one may have regarding switching their career. 

Denise operates MAX with great pride and brings the perfect team together to help you achieve your next career move. Annette has helped me understand what is on the professional side after I graduate. She helped knowing my skill set and how I can bring my Hospitality skills and add it to my Tech skills in order to obtain my job. 

I doubted by self at every stage and the fact that I had a job offer the day of my graduation made up for every challenge I faced and overcome the success.

Let's see, where do I begin? I was connected with MAX through the Apprenti program and without them I would have missed out on a great experience. I  went into the bootcamp as a virtual student and it's safe to say this made me a bit hesitant. How could someone learn programming without having an in-person connection with their instructor? Well, from day one the staff at MAX made the process very smooth. I  was provided with a laptop that included all of the necessary tools for the curriculum, as well as learning material and some cool MAX gear! Zoom and Microsoft Teams were the platforms we used to communicate through the course and I never experienced any issues. Our instructor Greg was phenomenal in his teaching style and he kept all students into consideration each day. Our teaching assistant Michelle was a great addition also and she made communicating to Greg seamless. I  hope MAX considers having a teach assistant available for their courses in the future. The career services provided are invaluable and Annette will prepare you to enter the workforce with the upmost confidence. Learning how to program from zero knowledge can be intimidating, but trust me the staff at MAX will be there for you every step of the way. I enrolled in the MAX Technical Training Maximum coding bootcamp to catalyze a career change, and it did that and more! It was a whirlwind 13 weeks, but we learned more than I could have ever imagined and I went from someone who knew very little about the details of the profession to someone who could hold her own in long technical interviews. Job assistance and job search preparation was top notch, and support from the whole staff was invaluable. Because of someone not directly associated with our bootcamp on staff, I went to a networking event and met two future teammates at Procter & Gamble. After that I was invited to interview and was offered a position in their mobile apprenticeship the day after graduation. I'm in disbelief, but not completely because I felt so well prepared to go into the job search due to both the excellent instruction and job prep. The breadth of knowledge we came away with impressed those working in the industry, especially learning Java AND C#, and our final project requires so much knowledge and so many different technologies we can proudly share it as an example of all we learned in the program, and it is super helpful to use that as a tool when job searching. After coming from a struggling industry with few jobs and labor-intensive job searches, I'm truly so happy and excited to enter this industry with support and excitement from employers and so much to learn with the best bootcamp springboard into post-bootcamp life imaginable. Take a part time developer course and add a pandemic on top of that and you have certainly got a challenge on your hands. Luckily, I chose Max Technical where they were able to be flexible and immediately pivot to fully virtual classes. My classmates and I still received excellent support, with the instructors making themselves available for 1 on 1 sessions, staying late after classes, and deciphering any confused looks we may have had over webcam.

Learning the information is only half the battle, there is still the matter of finding a job to begin your new career. When I tell you Max is like a family and EVERYONE is invested in your success, I mean it. I got calls and support from everyone at the organization from the job coach to the CEO. I was personally in the unique situation of getting into a a new job during the bootcamp, which had me dragging my feet on getting started in a developer role. They were patient with me while I took the necessary steps to move into a programming career. Six months after graduation, we found the perfect role for me and I have never looked back.

I would highly recommend this camp. Like with learning all new things, it is a challenge, but you want to be somewhere that the Bootcamp is just as invested as seeing you win. Here you definitely have the support to get through AND move into a new career. Read less

I love software technology and computers but most of all I loved the staff at max technical training. They were so helpful for anything I  ever needed, and really cared about the experience you had at the Boot Camp. Max Technical training is a fantastic Bootcamp. 
I started the full time .NET Bootcamp with no prior coding experience, but I wanted a change in my career. The instructors are patient but also make you push yourself, really stretch your abilities and grow. I now work as a full time .NET Software Developer and use things everyday that I learned in Bootcamp.
The job assistance/career coaching that is provide is top notch. Resume help, interview prep, and salary expectations are a few of the many helpful things they help coach you through.
