MAX Agile IT Business Analyst

I recently took the Business Analyst boot camp at MAX, I had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone looking to change careers or just wanting to learn new skills! I found the boot camp through a friend who had taken it before and I had taken an interest in analytics after taking the Data Analytics course through Google’s career program. The course I took through Google was informative but everything was pre-recorded and you had no classmates. Upon finishing the Google course I applied to hundreds of jobs and only landed two interviews, I thought there was no hope for me since I had no on the job experience as well as having  no degree. This all changed after going through the boot camp at MAX, the class was live over zoom and the instructors were very knowledgeable, you had classmates to work on projects with and the learning environment was great! During the bootcamp I worked part-time at T-mobile and I felt that the coursework wasn’t too hard to keep up with, you learn a lot in the short 9 weeks and if you pay attention during class you will retain the information presented to you. After graduating it only took a month for me to land my first position and I couldn’t have done it without the great people at MAX. Once you graduate you aren’t stranded on your own, they offer career services and leverage their connections to companies in the area to help you throughout the job search. I am starting my new position in a few weeks and I couldn’t feel more prepared after finishing this course. I recommend anyone who is looking for a change to put in the effort and complete this course!

This experience allowed a validation process to commence internally that will last eternally. Instructors answered all questions - success is the only option. They teach everything they know due to real-world experience. The curriculum provides multiple streams to success for what best fits you. The curriculum was comprehensive, covering all essential topics for a successful career as a business analyst. The MAX Technical Training Agile IT Business Analytics Bootcamp was the best decision I have made. As a young adult, college was not the right fit for me so finding out about this training program was perfect. All of the instructors are so knowledgeable and share tons of real world experience with you as you get to participate hands on in the variety of classes. It was a great course, but it wasn't easy. It was very intensive and you have to work hard to get through it successfully, but in my experience it was completely worth it. The IT Business Analytics Program seems to be a bit of a new program to MAX so there were a few bumps a long the way, but overall it was a great program.

 It was March of 2022 when I began the nine-week long journey at MAX Technical Training. At the time, I had quit my position as an Associate Planning Specialist and knew that I wanted to further my education and experience. When I heard about MAX, my focus for the school had been prioritized. I knew it was going to take a ton of commitment, time, and patience. And, it did! Eventually, I graduated the boot camp with more than I could have ever imagined. The team and staff at MAX is determined and persistent in ensuring that their students come out of the boot camp successful and confident. At MAX, I received certification in Scrum and ITIL as well as a certificate in the role of an IT Business Analyst. Since graduating the boot camp in May of 2022, I have been hired at Great American Insurance Group as an Associate Business Analyst and I could not be more pleased. If anyone is searching for a training program that will mentor you to your fullest potential, then this program is it! Not to mention my wonderful career coach who has assisted me entirely throughout the camp to form a resume, effective job search, and education in the emotional intelligence within a professional work environment. 

I think this program was fantastic, especially through the hard work and dedication of the instructors. I understand it's not easy having to invent a whole new style of learning to accommodate for the virtual environment, and the instructors had shown that they were committed to making sure all of us students were understanding the material and how it would benefit us in our careers, as well as demonstrating what it looks like to be truly committed to excellence. As someone who isn't a business analyst, I still found the course very beneficial, and would recommend it to anyone in or looking to get into the IT field. 

I learned of MAX Technical Training through the Apprenti program (a professional IT apprenticeship placement organization), and I can say without question that this was one of the best experiences of my life. The instructors all bring years of real-world experience, having worked for/consulted with major tech companies around the country. They applied their professional expertise to the course material from start to finish. During this boot camp, I received an introduction to business analysis and project management and sharpened my skills in tools such as Microsoft Excel and SQL. The boot camp also introduced me to technologies utilized by business analysts, including Tableau and PowerBI. Finally, we had the opportunity to develop our interpersonal skills through a series of workshops on emotional intelligence, LinkedIn, and the Gallup Strengths Finder. Throughout the training, the instructors were kind enough to answer any questions I had and would challenge me to apply my knowledge through workshops and homework assignments.I highly recommend MAX Technical Training to anyone seeking a career in the IT sector. The consistently high level of professionalism among the instructors and the thorough curriculum make this an opportunity you can't pass up. 

The ITBA Bootcamp by MAX Technical Training will equip you with all the skills you need to be a Business Analyst. As someone who has previously help positions in business analysis, the course was a great way to supplement real-world experience with formal training. In some ways you can't be on the job learning. What I've found though, is sometimes you don't get the "basics". And you can't build a house with out a foundation. This 9-week bootcamp will give you that foundation.
