Mate academy

In Mate academy, I came with some tech background from university. I was familiar with some programming languages like C, and C++ but not with web (Javascript, HTML, CSS). I was reading excellent reviews about Mate academy and decided to start my way in Web development from the Fullstack Development course in the company.

It was a challenging period of studying at a crazy pace, but with an exciting curriculum. We had morning tasks, lectures, Q&As, mentor reviews, and home tasks. These things helped me find out how web development works and get my first job in IT in several months. 

I can write a lot, but almost everything was already said in the other comments!I am super grateful to Mate academy for the opportunity to study, for the courses, for mentoring and all the support during the training.After the course, you realize that you can learn on your own, but it will cost you much more effort and time. Hey everyone! Now let's talk about Mate academy!I was a little afraid to enter here, but after I did, all my doubts and fears were dispedlled instantly. Here no one will be left alone, and they will always help in a difficult situation. During the training, I did not notice how I could make friends with my group, mentors, coordinator and trainer.Now a little about them. I don’t know how they do it, but all these people manage to help everyone, give everyone time and remain incredibly positive, smiling, stress-resistant. I wouldn't be able to do same :)The pace of learning is really fast, that is, you need to completely dive into learning and devote all your free time to it. But believe me, when you get a job, you will be foremost grateful to yourself for doing your best. I was on the Front-end course and I raised my level by 200%. I learned a lot of new things, although I thought I knew everything. The team has an incredible atmosphere, every time the program only gets better :)Thanks to all those who participated in the educational process :)Good luck to those who decide to change their lives ♥️

I came to Mate academy on my third year of maternity leave. Because I had a little child, I chose part-time. What I want to say: if you come to study and you study hard, you will definitely see the results. It doesn't work here that “I came to the courses. I'm great. Now everything will be great. " To be great, you have to work. And Mate academy will do everything to help you:
All the topics are very understandably explained in the videos,
there are short notes on each topic (if you forgot something, you can always go back and check)
there are practical tasks on each topic (mostly more than 7 tasks on each topic)
tasks are reviewed by a mentor who will do everything possible to ensure that your task was completed perfectly
Q&A meeting are held twice a week so you can ask about things that are not clear
there is also a special chat for your questions whilst you work on completing the task (you get help not only from the mentor, but also from peers)

One of the main benefits of part-time is that you study at your own pace. At the beginning, it meant to me that I could study a little longer, going through 1-2 tasks a day. But somehow I quickly gained momentum and got a job just in 3 months time. This shows that the course is not only useful, but also surprisingly interesting - sometimes it was very difficult for me to step away from the platform, because I always wanted to do more to find out what's next.

In fact, I can't even believe that I’m already writing about my experience of studying at Mate, because a year ago I also read these reviews and did not believe until the end that it's all true. I hesitated for a long time, but still decided to change my life :)
My training started in August and I have been working for more than half a year now. Super happy and satisfied that I made the right decision!
This path was not easy, because it was a completely new field for me (I used to work as a lawyer), it was necessary to create the right daily routine, learn a lot and work not only on weekdays. But even when it is very difficult, you will never be left alone, they will always help you deal with the material and tasks.
So from my own experience I recommend Mate Academy 100%!

Graduated from a full time course at Mate :) Impressions are extremely positive. Daily calls - entering the educational (working) process. A huge variety of practical tasks, a solid foundation of theory (I didn't realise it until I went through a series of interviews in different companies) and making sure that I could choose the offer I wanted when looking for a job. Looking back, it's hard to believe that I have mastered so much, because there is a lot of material on the Internet, but the courses helped to find the right ones and structure them in your head. The mentors support is very cool, friendly atmosphere and the possibility of in-depth training for those who are not afraid of additional tasks. I am grateful to the whole Mate team (especially to the mentors: Yaroslav, Tanya, Sasha, Nastya, Igor) for the excellent support in training and to classmates for that cool atmosphere (I know that you are here writing a review)! So, if you want to change your job or have been dreaming of a career in tech for a long time, but you don't know where to start and how it all happens - you should be here. Hello! Finally, I can call myself a Front-end developer with no hesitation, and this is thanks to Mate academy. What can be said? I can't think of a company that would be that much interested in employing you as Mate (and it's clear why, all the conditions can be found on the main site and that's it). It is very captivating that the guys do not stop, but continue to improve the quality of education and perhaps you will already get to an improved platform with improved materials! There are really a lot of materials, the pace is fast, I was constantly busy ... and I won’t say that after the course you will know everything, unfortunately there is still a lot to learn, but this is the base that you need in order to achieve the goal - to find your first job in tech. Well, I came across an awesome group, very strong, interesting guys with different experiences, and I'm sure many of them will become team leads in the near future. It's just a pity that time flew by so quickly...;)

I graduated from Mate academy courses, found a job, and what I can say about them: these courses really give you everything to get a profession in tech in four-six months. But we should remember that programming is not just a "click on the keyboard", there are many things to consider.
If you really have a desire to work in tech - this is a great choice. Yes, the first topic may be difficult for you, you may fail the test assigment on the first try, but if you keep on practicing, even on simple (or not) tasks - you will be able to gain a bit of experience, which will be enough.

All I can say about mate - it is the best training program of my life. No university will give you so much knowledge and practice. I got my offer after just 1 tech interview.
When I read the reviews myself, I thought that they looked like cheating and everything was so positive, but they really teach very cool here, so I have no doubt that in a couple of years there will be 10k+ positive reviews. If you’re still in doubt - don’t waste your time, I regret that I started so late and sat at the university without prospects.

It’s unbelievable that I’m writing a review about Mate academy, it seems that not so long ago I was looking for info about this company and did not believe that all the reviews could be so good.
And in vain!
Mate is not just a course where you spend 2 hours listening to a boring lecture. This is a very facinating training, with a lot of practice and real projects in a team.
And a huge plus is the work of mentors who explained the material in the easiest way, answered all my questions (even at 9 PM), showed funny tips (for example, how to stalk your ex in the instagram, yes Tanya?). And Marichka’s help to write a CV, instructed and calmed down.
I am very grateful to everyone who helped make my dream come true.

Thank you very much, Mate, for your hard work and quality approach to student learning. I finished Frontend in February this year and found my first job within 3 weeks.
I came to tech without having any experience in this field before, but after studying at Mate I managed to become a competitive jun because Mate:
- has excellent program and learning process
- training is intensive
- has cool support from mentors and managers
I also really liked the morning tasks on JS and technical checks, after which you are totally ready for any interview. Morning internships with mentors help to better master the theory passed earlier, and deadlines in assignments and teamwork helped me to be ready to work on a real project. Speaking English classes helped raise spoken English to a good level, which was enough for employment.
To all who want to start their career in IT, I will recommend Mate, training will be difficult and intensive, but at the same time very productive and fascinating. And Mate, I want you to keep going and develop the way you do!

I will say with confidence: "Do not hesitate! You will not definitely regret it! ”
In Mate academy information is structured, a looot of practice, your hometasks are checked by cool frontend developers, interesting and super useful classes, morning tasks with JS (due to constant practice you will notice how much easier you are given tasks, how quickly you find solutions and even before you can notice that your code is getting better and better + optimized), techchecks. Techchecks are a very cool and useful thing. Seriously. In the beginning it was always so scary and you didn't want those techies, but they help you to see what gaps in your knowledge you have, help you remember the forgotten, help you learn to explain to someone what you know and thus better consolidate this knowledge.
In addition, there is constant feedback and support from the team! + they help you constantly with your job search: they advise you on the best way to write a resume, do trial interviews, prepare you for all possible and impossible events.
After Mate Academy you will have no equal!)
But you will have to make a lot of effort and patience, because the training is rich, a lot of new information. Training will be from 9 to 18. And I, to be honest, in general with the house and at night sat :)
And in short, Mate Academy is love
And besides, you will have a new family and wonderful memories of learning

I studied Full-time Front-end. I can write about courses a lot, but I will limit myself to a few sentences.
If the community is important to you, and you are 100% sure that you want to work in IT - a full-time course is for you. At full-time, you will accurately obtain and consolidate the basic knowledge required for employment. A huge advantage of full-time is technical checks and Q&A sessions.
If you are self-disciplined, charged with conquering IT, and used to doing everything yourself and the community is not important to you, it is better to choose part-time.
