Like any other self-taught developer, I was learning aimlessly with YouTube videos and online resources. But then I come to know about Mate Academy and I am blown by their curriculum and structural method of teaching. I learned so much in 4 months that I never learned in a year when I was in college or school. In exactly 4 months I got my first offer letter from the employer where I am working right now!Here you can interact with people from all around the world. Here you learn how to work with a team and individually. Always there will be a Mentor to help you if you have some issue with your understanding of the concept or your code, there will be someone to review your code (other students and final review by Mentors) which is not possible with online courses or other resources.Here you will not just learn to program but you will learn soft skills as well, which is much more important than coding skills, especially when you have to work with people from a different culture. You have so many tech checks and interview practices that you will never be nervous in your real interview.The best part is that you will get a job assistance which is not just for your first job but  for your next job as well. Mate is not asking for anything upfront but just your dedication and being honest with yourself.Hopefully, this will help other students as well who are looking for a good school to start their career in software development.

At the start, I doubted the positive reviews, because there were too many, and almost not negative. But solve start studying in this school. I am incredibly glad that I chose Mate Academy for my studies. I had experience studying programming in other courses. Mate impressed me with the fact that there were always different types of activity, complete immersion in the process, everything was arranged so that I used my time as productively as possible. I'm just amazed! With the independent organisation of training, I would have achieved the same results in twice or more as long.

I studied Full-time Front-end. I can write about courses a lot, but I will limit myself to a few sentences.If the community is important to you, and you are 100% sure that you want to work in IT - a full-time course is for you. At full-time, you will accurately obtain and consolidate the basic knowledge required for employment. A huge advantage of full-time is technical checks and Q&A sessions.If you are self-disciplined, charged with conquering IT, and used to doing everything yourself and the community is not important to you, it is better to choose part-time.

My IT career started with Mate academy. I tried becoming a developer by myself because all the info you need is already free and on the internet, or so I thought. But there are multiple challenges that come with self-directed learning, such as you do not really know what you need to learn, and sometimes you might feel lazy, just to name a few. Mate academy does an amazing job at making sure you stay as productive as you can, giving you distilled material, yet still touching on in-depth topics. All the homework and tasks were as practical as they can get.Thanks to Mate academy I found my first IT job just 3.5 months after I started with them, and within 4.5 months everybody (!!!) in our study group was employed. I do not see how anyone who has just started with IT would be able to accomplish that on their own. Am I saying that in 3.5 months they will make you a senior developer? Not at all. Getting your first job in IT is like catching a leprechaun, it takes a lot more than simply "finishing a JS course". In Mate academy, I was working with a whole team: coaches, mentors, and HR specialists who helped me overcome my interview anxiety by simply practicing during mock interviews.If you value your time and you want to receive enough knowledge to get your first IT job quickly, I recommend no other than, you guessed it, Mate academy.

The most rewarding time of my life. In a short time, I received a profession and the necessary knowledge for development! Of course, many will say that you can learn all this on your own and they will be right, but with great mentors and a crazy pace of learning, it will be much faster. I can't single out a single flaw and I recommend it.

 Learning is not easy, but it is worth it. As for all conditions, I consider them very fair. I also recommend you effectively spend the 0th week of studies in order to 100%+ do all the tasks before studying - this will help a lot during the entire study. Personally, perseverance helped me, although I did not immediately understood everything, but after leaving my comfort zone, I really began to study  effectively. 

The team is doing its best for students to make their knowledge grow. Even after graduation and employment, you are not forgotten. Advanced courses, career support, and a community - it's all here.Everything you do at Mate academy is focused on the result. The main criterion is your motivation. Have it enough and you'll reach the goal

Not so long ago I completed a full-stack course at Mate Academy. Now I'm working in my dream job as full-stack developer, which is why I decided to leave a review for those who have doubts.First of all, in Mate I felt like a part of one big and friendly team, where mentors and coaches ready to support you at any moment, inspire and motivate you to intense learning.During the training I got an incredibly large amount of knowledge and practice. The training itself is as close as possible to the conditions of working on a real project, from communication to finished projects on Github.The guys from MA did everything and even more so that I would believe in myself, gain knowledge and be able to use it in practice, which later helped me find a job.My decision to go to MA is one of the best decisions of my life. This academy changed my life and turned it upside down :) I met very talented and interesting people and get cool job, so if you think about those who want to change your life and are ready to work for it, then MA is an ideal option.

 It was three months of full immersion into Frontend development, tons of interesting tasks which are really close to the parts of real projects, support from the mentors and coordinators, and help with interview preparations and job searching. It was pretty challenging, but I really liked the experience. 

I had no previous experience in tech-world, only basic algorithmic skills from school and university diploma (non technical). And after 4 months I have already had the offer to great IT product company. entering this school was my best investment into my knowledge. Strongly recommend!

I graduated in 2019. This bootcamp was a great place to get online-based knowledge that allows you to take place in one of the tech companies and boost your career. Most significant pluses of studying here for me:

Practice makes perfect. I've gained top skills and got well paid job thanks to it.
Theory allows you to get a full vision of the technologies and how to use it.
Mentors always help with first two points and don't leave you struggling with some tough task/theory moment.
Career support will help to climb that career ladder, get higher offers and salary raises.

I bet a lot has changed since my graduation in 2019, but only in a  better way.Strong recommendation.

I studied at Mate academy from November '21 till early February '22 and I've learned a LOT for this months. If you want to study effectively and get a job as a developer in four months - it is definitely a way to go.To learn and understand this much of information if I have studied alone would take years, imo. It was definitely not easy, I studied for around 8 hours everyday, yet I can't come up with a better solution to become a developer and get your first salary in such a quick way.And the first module is free for you to study as much as you want, so definitely won't hurt to try.

I studied at Mate Academy for three months full-time and was one of the first students in the group who received a job offer. During my study I really liked the presentation of information, code review, work with mentors, morning tasks, QnA, technical checks, preparation for job interviews. The pace is crazy, you have to work a lot on yourself, every day learn something new. It is the best investment of time in my life! Highly recommend Mate Academy as a reliable start in IT.

Excellent courses that provide all the necessary opportunities to get job offer.

  Previously, I'd just been studying at university as a student in Software Engineering. Then, I joined Mate academy right at the beginning of 2022, (Full-stack Development, full-time course). I was shocked by the organization level – everything is just as it should be: clear plans, your schedule, educational materials, candid feedback on your performance, practical tasks, mock interviews, Q&As, and the concepts of peer reviews. And despite the war in Ukraine, the team was still able to help me land a job, and now – I'm working as a Full-stack Developer.  I adore the way I've been taught, for sure. I strongly recommend those, who indeed strive to land a job and are ready to work hard, to apply.

In Mate academy, I came with some tech background from university. I was familiar with some programming languages like C, and C++ but not with web (Javascript, HTML, CSS). I was reading excellent reviews about Mate academy and decided to start my way in Web development from the Fullstack Development course in the company.It was a challenging period of studying at a crazy pace, but with an exciting curriculum. We had morning tasks, lectures, Q&As, mentor reviews, and home tasks. These things helped me find out how web development works and get my first job in IT in several months. 

I graduated from the Frontend course 4 months ago.Guys if you're still hesitant to apply or  not apply to the academy, I will personally say, Mate is a great opportunity to change your life and to start working in the tech field.Cool experienced mentors who try their best to transfer their knowledge to you, constant code writing practice, with solving daily JS problems daily - you notice how your skills improve every day.After 3 months of training, you’re surprised by how much knowledge and skills you have received) I found a job in a large company after 3 days of job search.PS: my Team Lead in that company is also Mate graduate)))
