Le Wagon

I signed up for the Le Wagon data science bootcamp because of their reputation for quality and rigor, and they did not disappoint.  The course set me on the path to develop and use a current set of data science tools to build models based on deep learning algorithms.  Beyond the technical lessons, Le Wagon creates a positive social environment through actively planning and encouraging social activities.  The teaching assistants are excellent technicians and the teachers are not only technically excellent, but they are selected because they care about the students and are there all day to help.  The course is very rigorous and requires the full attention of students.  Having a significant programming background is very helpful, but a good aptitude is sufficient so long as the preliminary work is completed (and the preliminary work can take weeks or even months depending on the student's level of knowledge and experience).  Many but not all of the students come from an engineering or computer science background, but this is not required, though it helps.  My background included graduate level math and statistics, but very little programming.  I did struggle with many of the programming exercises, but with the help of the class, I was able to get through.  I would highly recommend Le Wagon data science for someone who is looking for hands-on experience with a current set of deep learning tools.  It is a tough course, but there is no easy was to build a strong data science toolkit. I integrated The Wagon - Lyon in France from January to March 2024 with the goal to learn how to code in order to have the set of skill necessary to build products.
Before checking the box, i feel the need to explain that I had not any background in coding nor any experience what so ever. I am a nuclear engineer and i had only tryouts where I tried to learn by myself (C++ the first time 10years ago then Python 1 year ago ) but both attempts ended in failure.
With The Wagon, I finally achieved my goal. The intense 2-months program really worked out for me, that was for one. For two, the teacher were great and the lecture made very accessible to learn new concepts while each day the level kept increasing. At the end, through all the challenges and mini projects, I was able to do stuff i didn't thought possible in such short notice.

I really loved the bootcamp. The technologies were taught individually then meshed together perfectly so that at the end of the bootcamp I knew javascript  css, html, ruby on rails and a little bit more of other things as well. Very handon approach with 2 big projects. Read less

- Le wagon's environment is very friendly & fun to be at.
- The syllabus and program is very well structured (like the  sequence of lectures, challenges, flashcards, online videos helps you to clarify things)
- Supportive, well trained, knowledgeable teachers
- If you are ready for intensive fast paced study ONLY then go for a full time course
- To summarize I would say, lot of learning was possible only because of structured syllabus, helpful qualified teachers and inspite of such stressful pace, the fun & friendly environment made this bootcamp which looked initially very difficult but made it totally worth.
Note: Since my bootcamp will be finished on Mar 22,2024,  I will be able to comment about job perspective only after getting a job.

Le bootcamp LE WAGON est très bien construit et très riche en apprentissage. je n'avais jamais fait de code n'y m'était intéressé. Le wagon m'a permis d'être opérationnel en seulement 9 semaines avec un suivi et un accompagnement personnalisé. 
Les profs sont compétant et à l'écoute de leur élève. les évènements et le réseau est vraiment à prendre en compte pour le choix d'un bootcamp et LE WAGON à tout ce qu'il faut dans ce domaine.

I had an amazing experience in Madrid.

Le Wagon is very good technical wise and the structure and timming of the materials is very well structured and planned. The professors are very engaging and have a lot of background in the field.

I recently completed the Le Wagon boot camp in Ruby on Rails, and I must say it was an incredible journey. Over the course of 9 weeks, I delved into the realms of JavaScript, Ruby, Rails, and HTML, and the experience was nothing short of amazing.

My time at Le Wagon bootcamp was short, It was almost three months but what I have learnt to me seem like I was doing a full masters. It was intensive , but doable. I now look at me and all the new knowledge I have gained.
