I have nothing but positive things to say about the JUMP experience! When I got my bachelors, it was more of a focus on the core fundamentals of Computer Science. It was not really informative in terms of how I was going to be utilizing these skills in the work force. Going through the python JUMP course I was taught many different tools such as pandas, pyspark and AWS. These tools have given me a much better idea of what I can actually do in the work force as well as what I was going to be doing. 

The staff has also been nothing less than friendly and cooperative for anything that I asked from them. They definitely gave off the vibe that they are there to help me grow as a programmer from the very first day to the last day of the program. Read less

I was looking for an opportunity in the IT industry, and had a recruiter reach out to me with details about a business analyst course. The training was very informative, and helped me boost my confidence and knowledge. After completing the course, I was able to secure a job along with some of my peers. I think that the best part about this course is that the people that you train with also get hired by the company, and it is a lot easier to transition to a new position by having someone else that is going through the same experience. I recently completed Jump program from cognixia that covered topics such as Python, SQL, AWS, Git, and soft skills, and I must say it was an amazing experience! The recruiter and instructors were both incredibly kind and knowledgeable, making the entire learning process enjoyable and efficient.



Throughout the course, I was impressed with the depth and breadth of the material covered. The curriculum was well-structured, and each topic was taught in a clear and concise manner. Moreover, the instructors went above and beyond to ensure that we understood each concept thoroughly, providing ample time for hands-on exercises and answering all our questions patiently.



What stood out to me the most was the emphasis on soft skills training. We learned about effective communication, teamwork, and project management, which are essential skills that are equally important as technical expertise in the workplace. I found this aspect of the course to be particularly valuable, and I'm sure it will serve me well in my future career.

I had no idea what would happen when I entered this program; all I knew was that it would be similar to other bootcamps on the market. If you want to start a career in technology, this is the place to be. Beginning with the recruiter who informed me about this program and provided me with all the details regarding the class and topics. The Jump program has some of the most skilled and experienced instructors, and they will do everything they can to ensure that you learn all topics. My instructor was Matthew Truelove; he is extremely patient and knowledgeable, and the way he taught JAVA was so simple to understand. The course is set up so that if you put 100% of your effort into it, you will get 100% of the results. This is not something that every bootcamp on the market can provide. For the non-technical portion of interviews, they also provide training on establishing a digital mindset (thanks to Sierra White for all the sessions and exercises). Finally, the most significant aspect of program is job hunt( They will do it for you). I went to college for CS and graduated in 2020. I was applying to every single entry level developer job out there but got very few call backs for an interview. Without having industry level experience, I could not get an entry level developer job. I ended up working at a help desk and hated it. I went to college for programing, and that is what my passion was in. When I got a call from a recruiter about the JUMP program and how they will teach me exactly what companies what and have the connections to get me in front of an interview I leapt at the opportunity!! JUMP turned out better than I imagined! The instructors were amazing, they taught us from scratch how to code, build full stack apps hosted on the cloud, and practice interviews. An amazing program with even more amazing people. I went through a “hire, train, deploy” phase that basically went over the basics of programming and what is expected in a modern tech role. After that I had a few interviews lined up by Collabera. Speaking from experience of having interviews outside Collabera, these ones were much MUCH easier, Collabera has often placed many other people at these companies so they give you great knowledge of what to expect and what Qs may come your way. Ending up getting signed on to a great company and one of the biggest financial institutions in the USA. Although I initially wanted to sign on full time with this company, I was told I would have to move across the country to do so. This is where Collabera came in clutch and signed me back on for a generous sum, this also meant I don’t have to move because I am still a contractor! These “bootcamps” may not be for everyone but I cannot imagine where I’d be if I didn’t sign-up for the jump program over 2 years ago.  Read less

The JUMP program by Cognixia is an extremely well rounded program providing graduates with the skill sets to succeed not only in technology but also in digital mindset. Giving students the needed interpersonal training to help them grow in their career as well as engage in learning as our field continues to grow. The instructors were deeply knowledgeable on every technology they covered and would not hesitate to give students the individual time they needed to completely understand and grasp the topics being covered. Students were not only taught the foundational theory needed to understand the inner-workings of the code but everything taught was backed with examples and real use cases for implementation. My personal favorite aspect to this training was you never left class feeling like you hadn't learned something new. Each class was pact with information and yet they always left room for the topic to be questioned to the point of full understanding as well as providing resources for discovery, self learning and clarification on anything taught in class. This program covers enough technologies in detail to make you feel accomplished and ready for full-stack software development. In addition, the instructors are all very knowledgeable and can help answer all of your questions or at least point you in the right direction. These instructors are teaching you the most current, job specific training, so you can get out there and get a job as fast as possible. Also, not only do they train you in software development, they also focus on developing your soft-skills, that employers look for in all candidates that they would typically hire. Which is huge, and gives you a leg up on candidates that don't have soft-skill training. 
Once you graduate they provide a service called JUMPlus, which is where they assist in paring you up with their clients. That is where you have an interview for a job position with said client. The best part about this service is the interview prep they provide, may it be a quick technical refresher, soft skills practice, or mock interviews. In addition, they do provide a chance to further your knowledge by assigning projects to encourage self study and working in teams.

This is a great course for those looking to kick off their technical career or simply learn a new skill set. The curriculum is usually tailored to potential clients therefore it gives you decent preparation for what you might encounter if you get placed at a job site. They have clients all across the US and provide stipend living for those who need to relocate during the training, they will even assist with some moving costs if you do get the job. As with any course, the results depend on your own ability to pick up the material however Cognixia has great TA's who are willing to work with you personally until you feel comfortable with the material.

I found the JUMP program to be valuable because it not only helped me develop a strong technical foundation for the workforce but also helped me build a stronger intrapersonal skill set. The technical knowledge I gained from this program is very relevant, as it is in high demand by big-name companies today. As someone with an electrical background, I did not have a lot of experience with object oriented programming because most of my projects used C or C++ since I was dealing with hardware. However, this program helped me get up to speed with the core fundamentals of OOP before diving into the technology that the client was looking for in candidates. I started the JUMP Program in January 2020 and I graduated from the class end of February 2020. The training was absolutely great and the teacher was great as well. I was in an environment where the director and staff always made us feel comfortable and like we were worth something. We were treated as if people believed in us! An efficacious curriculum for recent graduates, with little to none, prior work experience searching to enter the competitive full-stack development workforce. After graduating, I was struggling to enter the workforce, with only 6 month worth of barely software-related internship experience. Having been found (via LinkedIn) and recruited by Cognixia, I was stationed in the Bellevue offices, with a team of 15 to 20 additional graduates. I was able to learn a significant deal of JavaScript concepts, CSS, HTML, VSCode tricks, and React development, while being provided paychecks and a nearly free hotel stay in one of the most expensive cities in Washington state. This curriculum not only allowed to develop the necessary skills in a nice and calm environment, but also allowed me to develop a social network with the co-recruits and Cognixia employees. Furthermore, the training isn't only focused on the technical side but also on the soft skills. Throughout the curriculum, I was mentored on soft skills and practice interviews.
