The curriculum and material at this bootcamp are very intensive. The curriculum is designed so that students can practice best practices in programming, read documentation, and use tools appropriately. Additionally, at Hacktiv8, the assignments are project-based, which means that students not only receive the material but also apply and create real projects.

The instructors at Hacktiv8 are also practitioners, most of whom are actively working in the industry. As students, we can gain a lot of insights into the industry from them. Hacktiv8 also pays attention to the mental health of its students with the presence of EE or Engineer Empathy sessions. In EE sessions, students can express their complaints and issues faced during the bootcamp to the provided counselor.  Read less

Took me 5 months to finish, gained 4 years worth of knowledge. All the instructors are all professionals, friendly and none like your typical teachers, more than what i was expecting. joining the UI/UX Bootcamp at Hactiv8 was a transformative experience for me (as this was also my very first bootcamp). at the beginning, i had a bit of struggle with the fast-paced environment and the extensive material. i also had to challenge my prone-to-stress self to manage my emotions and anxiety (idk i got a lot more nervous easily than usual) because i needed to do well as i was aiming for an ambitious goal which is to get a job haha. thankfully, i'm blessed with a very supportive mentor, kak Ichan, who not only willing to listen to my rants (AHAHAH) but also gave me reassurance and constructive feedbacks, i was able to overcome my shortcomings and gain a valuable understanding of UI/UX principles and practices. the curriculum is well-structured and comprehensive, covering from user research to prototype. the final project was practically beneficial, allowing me to apply what i've learned in a practical context (also discovering which step i needed to improve). last but not least, i also gained some amazing friends whom i truly cherish. they were amazing people to have a discussion with and fun assignment buddies. i'm very grateful because it weren’t because of them, the challenging journey wouldn’t be this joyfyul and fulfilling.

Saya baru saja menyelesaikan UI/UX Bootcamp di Hacktiv8 dan pengalaman tersebut sungguh luar biasa. Program ini dirancang dengan sangat baik dan mencakup semua aspek penting dari desain UI/UX, mulai dari dasar-dasar hingga teknik-teknik yang lebih maju. Instrukturnya sangat berpengalaman dan selalu siap membantu, memberikan panduan yang mendalam dan pengetahuan praktis yang bisa langsung diterapkan dalam proyek nyata.

Salah satu hal yang paling saya apresiasi adalah pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Setiap peserta diajak untuk mengerjakan proyek nyata yang mensimulasikan tantangan yang akan dihadapi di dunia kerja sesungguhnya. Ini tidak hanya membantu dalam memahami teori, tetapi juga membangun portofolio yang kuat. Materi yang disajikan sangat up-to-date dan relevan dengan tren industri saat ini, sehingga saya merasa siap menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja setelah menyelesaikan bootcamp ini.

awal masuk di bootcamp masih biasa-biasa saja, berkenalan, bertemu dengan orang baru dan belajar di tempat baru, di bulan pertama materi yang diajarkan masih terkait logic dasar dari bahasa pemograman, tapi seiring bertambahnya minggu soal yang diberikan semakin meningkat kesulitannya dan dengan batas waktu tertentu, disitu saya mulai panik dengan ketidakmampuan otak untuk mencerna soal yang diberikan, begitu menantang, sejauh belajar di Hacktiv8 sistem belajarnya tertata bagus dan pemateri atau lecture nya menguasai materi. dengan waktu yang terbatas dengan materi yang begitu banyak sehingga harus berusaha untuk cepat memahami materi yang diberikan, setiap hari materi yang diajarkan berbeda beda sehingga bagi para pemula harus mengikuti kelas dengan fokus agar tidak ada materi yang terlewat. terdapat juga sesi EE yang membantu pembelajar agar tetap berada pada rule yang sudah ditetapkan dan memberi motivasi para siswa dalam menghadapi berbagai rintangan selama mengikuti bootcamp di Hacktiv8. dapat pengalaman yang banyak dari mengikuti bootcamp disini. hiring partner dalam bootcamp juga didapat pasca graduated, siswa diajarkan banyak hal dari membuat cv sampai interview kerja. juga ada buddy aligmentnya bagi siswa yang lulus dengan predikat tertentu. jam pembelajarannya dari jam 8 sampai jam 18 malam yang mana disesuaikan dengan jam kerja pada umumnya. siswa dituntut disiplin untuk membudidayakan etos kerja yang baik. demikian sedikit cerita selama mengikuti bootcamp di Hacktiv8.
