Before joining the bootcamp, I only had a little experience with programming. But during the program, I learned a lot, especially about backend development using Go. I also learned how to build APIs, work with microservices, do testing, and even deploy apps to the cloud. What made the biggest difference for me was the way the bootcamp trained us to think like real developers. We were taught how to break down problems and write clean code. Working in teams for final project was also a big part of the experience. I learned how to communicate and solve problems together as a team. Hacktiv8 was a fast-paced, information-packed and highly intensive bootcamp that allowed me to finally escape from tutorial hell. You are taught everything, from the basics, to some of the latest tech-stacks that meet the industry requirements. My experience with Hacktiv8 had been nothing but positive. True, the course is very difficult, as you are jammed with information every day, and this might not be a good fit for everyone (especially because your weekends are somewhat non-existent due to all the assignments) but if you are looking to ensure that you have the base knowledge of the industry (being an aspiring software engineer etc.) then this bootcamp will help you get there faster than any online course materials available. I enrolled the Front End Night Bootcamp Program. Overall it was a nice experience. If you already have experience at programming you won't have much problems at following the lectures even while doing a 9-5 job (you just need to sacrifice a little bit more of your sleep though). However, if you don't, I would recommend you to go full time. The instructors are nice, if you face any problems they will assist you 1 on 1. Read less

It has a great Curriculum and great Instructors. It definitely lives up to its reputation, and of course, the price. The one thing I'm not satisfied with is only the job assistance. Don't be swayed by their "Dicarikan kerja". In the end, you will have to do the job searching yourself and this boot camp would only offer you advice and suggestions. Aside from that it is a very worthwhile boot camp if what you seek is the curriculum and of course a lot of portfolio and tech stack you can add to your CV. Read less
