Honestly had the best experience with Great learning. Really liked the course material and the curriculum; and Mentored learning session with Mr. Sarfraz helped a lot in clearing the doubts. Also Ms. Sakshi Raghav helped me throughout the course whenever I needed her help with assignments and quizzes, she clarified my doubts regarding submission criterias and had been very kind. I am extremely happy with the Applied Generative AI course offered by Johns Hopkins University through the Great Learning platform. The program exceeded my expectations and provided a strong foundation in modern Generative AI concepts.Each week introduced new topics with practical, real-world examples that encouraged me to think about how these technologies can be implemented in enterprise environments. The curriculum is thoughtfully structured, taking learners from Python fundamentals all the way to advanced topics such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), AI agents, agent orchestration, AI guardrails, and fine-tuning.What I appreciated most was the balance between theory and hands-on application, which helped reinforce the concepts and build practical skills. The instructors did an excellent job breaking down complex topics into understandable lessons while continuously connecting them to real business use cases.I cannot recommend this course highly enough for anyone looking to build a solid foundation in Generative AI and Agentic AI.  Overall, I had a memorable experience with the MIT IDSS AI & Data Science Program course. Keeping the pace with the weekly assignments was crucial. However, I am grateful for the thorough and detailed lectures (videos and meetings) and material I studied throughout the course so that I could gain the strong understanding I now have regarding how to use artificial intelligence and use it to supercharge operations with data science in the real world. I am also thankful for the encouragement that I have received from faculty like my mentors and my program manager. The hands-on Python notebook projects were my favorite part of the course. They challenged me to sharpen my Python, AI, problem-solving, and analytical skills in a way that makes me competitive in the data science and programming fields. I had the pleasure to join the Advanced AI and Data Science Class from MIT / Great Learning. I knew before that this is a challenging experience given the depth of the concepts covered but to be honest I underestimated it. You really have to learn at a fast pace and get your coding skills in shape. The good news is there are lots of AI tools that can help you get better, debug your code, help you with a refactored version of it, etc.
I especially enjoyed the Live Mentoring Sessions - like back in the university days - when a Tutor helps you get practical experience with the concepts taught.
The Great Learning Staff was very helpful during the entire course - without it would have looked differently :)
