Frontend Simplified

My overall experience with FES has been pretty good. The biggest aspect of this bootcamp that I like is that there's always a support team there for you. The videos are mostly easy to follow along and code with but may be difficult for brand new beginners. There is also a lot of extra resources they provide and opportunities to join hands on in the community. I'm satisfied with the classes and the knowledge you gain from these courses.  Read less

For me, Frontend Simplified has been a game-changer. Before I started, I had no experience outside of one hw assignment my mom had, and job hunting was...unsuccessful to put it lightly. That's when she suggested I should do coding, and then a Youtube video ad played advertising FES, and here I am now. While I still haven't gotten to job interviews, I am getting very comfortable with FES as a whole. It may be intimidating at first, and the modules are a little overwhelming. To the point where it can take you longer than expected. But the good trade-off with that is you have a patient support team that's always there to help you with any errors or questions you may have. Always figuring stuff out is very satisfying to me, even if it takes you a bit to remember. I also appreciate that they tell you the best practices, as well as give you hands-on experience for what you'll expect going into a career. That way, you're not blindsided. Updating information has also helped with that as well. It's still a bit scary, but it is still an experience that anyone should consider if they're having trouble in their own career paths! I enrolled in FES just a couple weeks ago and have already learned a lot! The course structure works well with both written instructions as well as video instructions that walk you through each lesson. The mentors they have are top-notch and are happy to assist students with just about anything. Shoutout to Ray who was outstanding in assisting me with some major trouble I was having! I've completed most of this course and graduated, and I still have some extra materials ahead of me. I don't come from a tech background, but I was looking to get into an industry that'd allow me to work remotely and learn a high income skill. Frontend Simplified seems to be that gateway, at least for me. There's a lot to learn and you get a lot of help learning here, and you get round-the-clock support from the instructor/mentor team.

There have been some inconveniences along the way, such as multiple instances of the website (where your learning material resides) being down, and sometimes, I didn't feel like certain concepts were explained very clearly and I had to go my own extra mile to figure things out, but that's also part of the growth journey – doing things on your own.

You get pointed in the right direction for some great resources for practice and learning, and you get taught the setup for projects very well. There's a lot of applicable and practical things you learn as well that'll help you in the real world and in your tech journey. I've done some free material learning for frontend development and the material I come across out there seems very broad and not very precise. It feels overwhelming, and like it's too much to learn all at once. But Frontend Simplified is precise in what they teach you and they go deep, and they cut out the fluff, and I appreciate that greatly. Read less

I started looking into taking some class to learn how to code or something to get into this field. At first I was very hesitant to pull the trigger to sign up for the cost, but I am so glad I did. FrontEnd Simplified is a great way to learn frontend development fast. I love that it's all at my own pace, I can pause and rewatch videos when I need to, and I can take the time that I need on my projects. I appreciate they have mentors for support 24/7 and quickly respond if and when I get stuck on take home projects. Sometimes it is daunting to have to do work all on my own, but there was a section they paired us up with a buddy in the course who was on the same project as us, and me and my partner have stayed in touch asking questions throughout the course. Sometimes it's easier to ask other students for help than mentors but the mentors have been patient and have talked me through all of the questions I have had so far.       Read less

This bootcamp I find very over my expectations. Whenever a question arises, they will have mentors for you to ask away whatever you are dwelling on. If you ask and respond in a sophisticated and complete manner, they will 100% be able to help you. Many meetings are held to help those who are having trouble and need the extra help. Overall, you are not throw into the pit by yourself, you will always have help if you are having trouble apply the theory into your own projects.  Read less

I honestly can't recommend Frontend Simplified enough if you're serious about getting into web development. I became extremely confident in my skills with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript very quickly, and I'm sure I will also do the same when I start learning React. The way the curriculum is structured just makes sense; it's a clear, step-by-step path that never left me feeling overwhelmed. The best part was building actual projects that I could put in my portfolio, which made a huge difference when I started job hunting. The mentorship  is also amazing, no question is left unanswered and they encourage me to push passed my boundaries wherever possible. I joined Frontend Simplified back in May 2025 after trying to learn coding in many different ways in the past. I've taken a good number of coding classes at university, and I've tried other online programs such as Coddy and some other non-mentorship course-based programs. But I always felt overwhelmed by the sheer number of languages to learn, and I always felt like I was behind because I didn't really have a clear roadmap to getting where I wanted to be. Frontend Simplified was exactly what I needed to both bring up my confidence and my skillset - and I needed both. Their attitude toward coding changed how I view coding and made it possible for me to pursue it. I think part of the reason why coding never stuck with me was because I never settled into the right mindset of consistency and "getting better at something daily that I might not be good at right now." I think this program truly accelerates your progress. If you don't want to waste time "sort of" learning something for years, and you want to get right down to everything you need to succeed and work toward the goal of becoming a frontend developer, this bootcamp does exactly that. I am extremely new to software development and this course has kinda dummy proofed it for me, it starts you off slow, and while it's a lot to learn at first they go over everything over and over until you get the hang of it. And the mentors are always available to help you, which is good cause I always have a lot of questions. Read less

I have enjoyed learning html, css, and javascript along with other tech stacks that are popular in the field of software They were extremely patient with me the whole process. I also enjoyed the fact that I was able to gain real world experience through a virtual internship. The staff was available 24/7 as well in case I didnt understand a certain concept. I was brand new to coding when I got started in this program so it has been intense! I'm excited to be learning so many new things, but it's definitely taken more than 12 weeks. If you're starting brand new to coding, it's totally worth it but be patient with yourself and don't give up! Don't be afraid to work with the mentors to keep you on track. Read less
