Frontend Simplified

Before joining this program, I was about a year postpartum and not working yet, but I knew I needed to prepare myself to get back into the workforce. I only had basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, and I didn’t want to go back to just any regular job. I wanted to build a real skill that could grow with me long-term and still allow me to be present as a mother.One of the things I appreciated most about the program was the flexibility. As a busy mom, being able to learn on my own schedule made a huge difference. The program also pushes you to actually build projects, which helped me see what I’m capable of.That being said, it wasn’t easy. Learning JavaScript was definitely challenging, and there were times when I felt stuck that slowed me down during projects. The most difficult part was working on outside projects where you have to figure things out more independently. But, that’s also where the most growth happened.Now, I can build projects using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, and even work with APIs. I’m still learning and improving every day, but seeing what I can create now compared to where I started is amazing. Coding is something that constantly evolves, so I know this is a skill I’ll continue growing in.I would recommend this program to anyone who has a passion for creating and is willing to push through challenges. It’s beginner-friendly, but you have to be ready to problem-solve and stay consistent.If you’re feeling unsure, I would say this: visualize the outcome. Ask yourself if you’re willing to work through the tough, frustrating moments—even when it takes time to figure things out. Because if you stick with it, the results are worth it.This program also helped shift my mindset. It showed me that if you truly want to learn something, you can—no matter where you’re starting from.

Frontend Simplified has been incredibly engaging and educational! The self-paced approach allows me the flexibility to learn and study when I have free time. The mentors are supportive, knowledgeable, friendly, and very punctual. I received clear, instructional, and encouraging feedback for my project reviews, showing how the mentor team really wants the students to succeed. The iterative approach of learning culminates in challenging but approachable projects to utilize your new skills and expand on them. This allows you to take the time to understand how all of the moving parts work together. Looking forward to the next phase!

Frontend Simplified has been a great experience so far. One thing that really stands out compared to a lot of other coding programs is the level of support they offer. They have mentors available to answer questions, and there are live classes that are also recorded so you can rewatch them whenever you need. That’s been really helpful when trying to fully understand certain concepts.

They also focus a lot on helping students get job-ready, not just teaching coding. The program includes help with building a portfolio, resume and LinkedIn reviews, interview preparation, and other career readiness support. There are also code reviews and coaching sessions that help keep you on track and improving.

Another feature I appreciated is their job-guarantee policy. If you complete the program and meet the job-search requirements but don’t land a developer job within 12 months, they offer a full refund. That said, there are requirements involved—you have to complete the coursework, attend coaching sessions, and consistently apply to developer jobs (around 30 per week) while documenting your applications.

Overall, my experience so far has been positive. I haven’t finished the program yet, so I can’t speak to the final outcome, but the mentorship, structure, and career support have been really encouraging. I plan to update this review once I complete the program and go through the job search process.

Frontend Simplified deserves every one of its five stars — the mentors are exceptional: patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in each student's progress. They break down complex frontend concepts into clear, practical lessons, offer timely, insightful feedback on projects, and create a supportive learning environment that builds confidence as well as skill.

The educational material is equally outstanding — well-structured, up-to-date, and focused on real-world application. Lessons combine crisp explanations, hands-on exercises, and useful resources that make it easy to learn modern workflows and best practices. If you want an efficient, mentor-driven path to becoming a strong frontend developer, Frontend Simplified is an excellent choice.

 I’m still early in the Frontend Simplified bootcamp (crash course phase), but the quality of instruction has been impressive. The curriculum is clearly designed with a strong understanding of how people actually learn to code — concepts build logically, examples are practical, and the pacing is solid. The HTML, CSS, and Java lessons are easy to follow, yet they encourage you to think like a developer rather than just copy code. Overall, the program feels thoughtfully engineered and optimized for long-term skill building, not just quick wins. 

I’m currently enrolled in the Frontend Simplified coding bootcamp, and I can confidently say it has exceeded my expectations.The course is truly designed to take you from zero frontend coding knowledge to being prepared for real job interviews. While I had a small amount of web design experience going in, the first few modules served as a helpful refresher—but the program genuinely starts from square one. Everything is explained clearly and logically, making it accessible even for complete beginners.One of the biggest strengths of Frontend Simplified is the video-based lesson format. The lessons move at a fast, engaging pace, but because everything is self-paced, you’re never rushed. You can pause, rewind, and rewatch any lesson as many times as needed, which makes a huge difference when learning complex concepts.The mentor support is where this bootcamp really stands out. Mentors are available 24/7, and when you ask a question, someone responds within minutes—not hours or days. Project submissions are reviewed incredibly quickly, often within hours, with detailed and actionable feedback. You’re never left feeling stuck or on your own.Overall, Frontend Simplified provides an excellent learning structure, outstanding support, and a clear path from beginner to job-ready frontend developer. I would highly recommend it to anyone serious about learning frontend development.

I recently began learning at Frontend Simplify and so far it's been great. The project building is so much fun, even at just the basic levels, taking each step and seeing each line of code come together to make a clean website just feels awesome. I think the best part is simply being able to connect easily with mentors and other students. It's definitely a huge shift for me in terms of career path, but honestly I cant wait to see how far I can take this journey and so far it's been worth it. Hope to see y'all out there!
