 This course is designed for you to be successful and do well. I love the way this bootcamp is setup. It is very structured there's 24/7 support from the mentors and instructors no matter what time it is. The mentors and instructors are very helpful and friendly. With me not being tech savvy so far I have being getting through the modules with ease thanks to this wonderful institute and support they provide. I like what I’ve seen so far on this course. The course structure is very easy to follow and understand, although the videos where David teach can be overwhelming since he goes too fast on the topics, I would suggest reducing the speed on the video, so you have more time to grasp what he is saying. This is a very intense course where you will be learning a lot and therefore feel overwhelmed with a lot of topics and concepts to cover every week. The key to learning as much as you can is reviewing and re reviewing what you have already learned, as it is easy to forget what you have learned a week before. The mentors are very helpful and really dedicate their time to try to understand your issue and fix it. Although they really encourage you to try and debug the problem yourself first, that’s how you learn the most. The course offers practice information more than conceptual terminology, so searching things yourself should be your best practice as well. AI has helped in multiple scenarios to understand syntax and their meaning, so I really encourage whoever joins the bootcamp to learn how to search things on your own.

I have not finished my course completely yet but I am on the final project and I have had an amazing experience so far. I've learned so much and have already recommended this to a few people. The material is super easy to learn if you just take notes and actually pay attention. The projects are tuff and force you to use all your knowledge, and anything you don't know you can ask a mentor for 24/7 support. I've had a lot of fun learning and building websites all because of this program. 10/10 Read less

Been learning to code with FES since October and I'm very glad I started! Been learning so much and can really see myself with a future in coding! The mentors are very helpful with any problems you have, and get back to you very quickly when you have a problem. The community of students who are learning are all very helpful in the experiences they share, which you learn so much from fellow students. The instructor of the course is a good teacher in that he's been in the same spot in learning to code just like we are, and key concepts that are important are covered repeatedly to help us grasp the harder things. After having difficulties in landing a graphic design job, I decided to switch over to coding through the Frontend Simplified Bootcamp. With David’s tutorial videos you learn that consistency is key! If you just initiate a video you’ll find that hours will just fly by as you lock in. For me, I’ve found that taking note and pausing videos while coding has been the most efficient way to retain everything learned. It gets overwhelming at times, but as learning goes just trust the process and most importantly, SHOW UP EVERY TIME. Read less

The mentors work 24/7 to ensure that you don't get stuck on anything. While going through this course it has proven to be very fast-paced. So much so, that you may feel, as I have, that you are not capable of getting to the finish line.
But with the mentors that they have like:
Frank, Khosro, Kat, & Victor - getting that certificate at the end will seem more tangible than not.

• These mentors have helped me countless times, at all times of the day and night, with problems big and small, in many ways than one, as well. They have gotten on Zoom calls with me, circled back to a question I may have had while they were teaching a class, or even sent voice memos, screenshots, and an immeasurable amount of chat messages back and forth for me to be able to understand something. 

They are they to help you really grasp a concept, but to also rally you along the way. I can personally say that those messages of comfort and encouragement have helped me a lot further than some of the conceptual ones.
These mentors are fantastic - and while David (the main course guide is great, as well, witty and blunt, too, which I am a fan of) is the star of most of the lessons. The mentors are the backbone - unable to get through the course without their help.

I started this course with zero coding experience and was a little intimidated, but I've loved how the program walks me through all the basics. Now I'm amazed as what I'm able to create with code! I have enjoyed this experience to be able to learn certain details of code that I generally understood, and I enjoyed following along in the videos that are present. The experience feels very grounding when you can see the mentor is actively doing the demo and he's coding in real-time of the video, so we get to see some of his thoughts as he types as well as the flow of how he works. It gives a great showcase of what you'll eventually become and you get to see that mistakes happen and get to see the troubleshooting of these mistakes that may be common when moving so quickly. You also pickup a lot of shortcut tips as well that may speed up the productivity, if one cares to know shortcut keys. Bravo. Read less

I enrolled in Frontend Simplified coding bootcamp in the middle of December, even with the Holidays and a nagging cough and flu, I cannot believe how much of the material I have picked up on in less than 6 weeks.Each of lessons can be reviewed numerous times for better absorption. FES is a great way to jump into the tech world. They offer an interactive course curriculum and mentor and peer support  available 24/7. I just finished Project 2. I have been working this bootcamp for a couple months now, and I'm loving it! It's fun to see the progress I'm making every step of the way. They have made the courses super simple and easy to follow along with, even if you have zero previous coding experience like myself. If you do have questions or any issues along the way, the mentors are always available to help you out! It's also great that they help you create projects to build up your portfolio for future jobs AND provide interview help/coaching at the end of the course! Frontend Simplified is easy-to-follow and will allow you to create amazing web pages in a short amount of time. I'm not going to say that it isn't work, but they teach you step-by-step what to do and provide real world situations to allow you to build you portfolio.  Read less

I started my FES Institute boot camp on 02 Dec 25. I'm almost 4 weeks and have completed module 4. I have some coding background, but this course has been a great refresher and learning new best practices. HTML, and CSS are relatively bot too difficult, JavaScript is taking a more concerted effort to learn, but with most things, practice makes perfect!

I've enjoyed the course material and overall projects. I get tot pause video tutorials and follow along at a self-paced tempo and learn the "why" behind the "how!" As of my current progression, I can say that this is a good boot camp. Looking forward to the paid Ai Internship and eventually finding a great job as a remote Front-end Developer! Read less
